About: As a dog groomer for over 5 years, I’ve worked with dogs of all ages and sizes. I especially enjoy working with old timers. I love seeing their spunky and winning personalities. I give them the extra TLC they need and wait patiently on them. I work full time as a dog groomer, but cannot get enough of dogs. This will also allow me to get my steps in. I’m bottom heavy, so it’s tough for a dog to topple me over I can feed, water, and play with pups when at your home. I have experience changing diapers and cleaning up pee and/or poo accidents if they happen.

About: I have always been a pet lover and I have been taking care of cats and dog (and the occasional fish, rabbit and other rodents) for over 30years! I work for myself with a small clothing business and I also care for my school age child and occasionally volunteer at the school. This makes my schedule fairly flexible In my own home, all 3 of my cats are up to date on all shots and flea treatments. They are all chipped and neutered. I hired Maira for drop-in visits to play with and feed my pups while I was away on a business trip. I don’t usually travel for work because I’ve seen too many horror stories on social media about negligent pet sitters, so I was pretty skeptical. But Maira completely put my mind at ease from the very beginning. She immediately scheduled a meet and greet and completed a detailed questionnaire about my babies, which was so helpful—especially since Aura was being particularly finicky with her food that week. During the meet and greet, it was clear how genuinely passionate Maira is about animals. She made me feel completely comfortable leaving my pups with someone who, at the time, was a stranger but now feels like family. While I was away, Maira checked in right upon arrival and sent tons of pictures and videos of my pups playing and having a wonderful time. Those updates brought me so much relief and happiness. Knowing they were happy, well cared for, and enjoying themselves made all the difference. We’ve had Armand watch our cats multiple times, and he is truly the best cat sitter we could ask for. Both of our cats absolutely adore him, which gives us so much peace of mind whenever we’re away. Armand is always communicative and sends plenty of pictures and video (exactly what every pet parent wants to see while on vacation!). Kimi took amazing care of my 18 year old cat with stage 3 CKD while I was away for a week. She visited twice a day and handled everything so patiently and compassionately, including feeding her, giving subcutaneous fluids, cleaning the litter box, giving pills, and helping with the extra challenges of a senior cat who is picky with food and struggles with constipation. She was incredibly kind, reliable, and attentive, and I could tell she truly cared about my cat’s comfort and wellbeing. Because of her, I felt so relieved knowing my cat was in such good hands, and I was actually able to relax and enjoy my trip. I’m very grateful for her help and would absolutely trust her again. Highly recommend Kimi, especially for pets who need extra patience and care.
This was my first time using rover and honestly I was super nervous. Those nerves went away so fast with Andrea. She asked a ton of follow up questions when meeting my cats to ensure she would be able to take care of them properly. That really eased my mind when I was leaving. During my trip she sent constant updates and pictures of the state of the kitties and my apartment. I was able rest easy knowing my cats and my apartment were in amazing shape. I very pleased with Elizabeth’s kindness and attentiveness! I am beyond neurotic when it comes to my fur babies lol and I have incredibly high expectation of their care and safety - They are my children. I found Elizabeth’s profile and although it’s always nerve wracking to entrust someone with your “kids” you just met, I had a good feeling about her in our messages. we arranged a meet and greet prior to our first Christmas Day evening visit and she was just wonderful. She listened closely to their routine at our meet and greet, and was very sweet and personable. She sent many photos during their Christmas Day visit which is always appreciated; She coaxed our pup who is a picky eater to eat more of his dinner which was a win and our very shy young cat even came out to say hi to her which never happens! I had notated in their care notes to stay in well lit areas on the walk with our pup due to coyotes and I could tell from the photos and map in rover she did exactly that- It means the world that she paid attention and customized their visit with our requests. I can tell She has a kind heart for animals and I am grateful we found her. We came home that night to two happy, well fed and content babies- already planning their next visit with her in January.
