About: I have always had animals in my life. I grew up with many, many cats, dogs, rodents, fish, and rabbits. I have been a dog owner myself and am currently the proud parent of one dog, Alfalfa. He loves making new friends.. My husband and I are house sitters and we have travelled around the country completing different house and pet sits. Bailey did such a wonderful job looking after our cats! She came over for a meet and greet to get to know the boys and was great. She gave super detailed reports while caring for them along with several photos which I always appreciate when I’m away from home missing my babies. Lauren was able to accommodate our last minute request since the previous sitter we booked was unresponsive literally a day before our trip. She was quick to reply and aware of our situation, we greatly appreciate she making the time to take care of Pão and Koko during our trip! Lauren is an amazing pet sitter, my cat Pão is a little shy but she made her completely comfortable during the whole time! She also took care of everything else super well (even taking in packages we received when away) that we greatly appreciate, and followed all our instructions for care without missing anything. I so appreciate Kyra for helping with our difficult little terrier with such equanimity! I was visiting my sister and had to bring Owen with me, and needed someone to be with him so that I could be sure he was okay the evening we were scheduled to go out to see a show. Owen is a very timid rescue with a fear of new people and novel circumstances – and as a Jack Russell mix he can be very feisty, so I had a lot of trepidation about how he would behave (I had visions of him either crying at the door all evening, or terrorizing the sitter). He did bark a lot at Kyra when she arrived, but she knew exactly how to handle the situation so that he could relax and rest while we were gone (which he did – whew!). Kyra texted me many updates which completely set my mind at rest... I am so grateful for her expertise and composure!
