We promise to interact with your pets and give them the love they deserve. We will send photos/videos of your pets and promise to keep you updated daily so that you have peace of mind while you are away. Also, we do not pet sit any pit bulls or pit mixes. Both my husband and I have flexible work schedules. I work from home everyday. There are times that I may have to leave the house to attend meetings for a couple of hours however your pet will not be alone for more than a 2 to 3 hr period as my husband also comes home if I have to be gone longer than that to tend to our own dog Sasha. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room to run around and play. Our golden doodle is young and full of energy and loves to socialize with other dogs. If we have the opportunity to take care of your fur baby more than likely your fur baby would probably sleep in a bed just like our own golden doodle. I can promise you that your fur baby will get plenty of exercise and also be entertained by not just our fur baby but also our 2 kids who love all dogs. Please keep in mind that if your pet is unpredictable or has been aggressive in the past I can not take care of your pet as it’s important to keep our home safe for our children and other pets that may be in our care. Also, if your pet has a habit of marking territory inside a new home environment then our home will not be a good fit.

Absolutely, ensuring safety and trust is of utmost importance when dog sitting. Here are some practices I follow to maintain a secure environment for the dogs in my care: 1. Kennel Policy: To ensure the safety of the dogs and your belongings, I request that owners provide a kennel for their pets. A kennel provides a secure space for the dog to rest and helps prevent any potential accidents or damage to the surroundings. However, if a dog is well-behaved and does not exhibit destructive behavior, I am open to alternative arrangements after discussing it with the owner. 2. Supervision: I provide constant supervision and attentiveness to the dogs in my care. This includes monitoring their interactions, activities, and behavior to ensure their safety and well-being. 3. Secure Environment: I take precautions to create a safe and dog-friendly environment. This may include removing any potentially hazardous items or substances from their reach, securing doors and gates, and ensuring any outdoor areas are properly enclosed or supervised. 4. Client Communication: I maintain open and transparent communication with dog owners. This allows us to address any specific concerns, preferences, or instructions regarding their dog's safety during the sitting period. 5. Pet Emergency Preparedness: I am prepared for emergencies and have a plan in place. This includes having contact information for the owner, their preferred veterinarian, and understanding any specific medical needs or conditions of the dog. 6. Trust and Reliability: I understand the trust placed in me as a dog sitter. I am committed to being reliable, punctual, and responsible in providing the highest level of care for the dogs entrusted to me. By implementing these practices, I strive to create a safe and secure environment for the dogs in my care, ensuring their well-being while respecting the importance of my belongings.

“Sam is an amazing animal sitter and owner. She fosters dogs through Fort Worth Animal Care and Control and is often asked to care for dogs with higher medical and behavioral dogs in addition to her own pack. As a friend, she is the first person I call when any of my animals get sick. I don’t trust many people with my animals, but she is the first one that I call when I need a dog or cat sitter.”

Athena C.
“I can’t say enough about how wonderful our dog sitter, Athena, has been for our furry family member, Nova. Every time we leave town, Athena steps in with such warmth and professionalism that we never worry about Nova’s well-being. She goes beyond just feeding and walking her—she sends us daily updates with photos, plays her favorite games, and even brushes her to keep her coat shiny. Her genuine love for animals is evident in how Nova wags her tail like crazy when she arrives, and it’s clear she feels safe and loved in her care. What sets Athena apart is her attention to detail and reliability. She’s always punctual, follows our instructions to a T, and even notices the little things, like when Nova seems a bit off and needs extra cuddles. She’s also incredibly flexible, accommodating last-minute schedule changes without hesitation. Thanks to Athena, we can travel with peace of mind, knowing Nova is in the best hands. She’s not just a dog sitter—she’s become a trusted friend to both us and Nova!”

During the day when I am in class she is available to cat sit and they always have a blast. Any dog under her care would be loved and cared for as her own.”
