“Thank you Kathleen for keeping my Brownee for daycare. I appreciate your prompt responses during her stay, the updates you shared, and your attentiveness to the different personalities of the pups in your care. We look forward to Brownee’s next visit.”

“Ranger enjoyed his stay with Alexis. She sent me regular photos and I could see Ranger was playing. She was very professional, and I would definitely recommend Alexis to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

About: I have been around pets all my life. I grew up on a farm with several different animals. Our family favorite has always been dogs. Now, I share that enjoyment with my kids. They love being around dogs too! We enjoy walking our own dogs and playing with them. Your pet would have a loving environment with lots of attention with us! I am a stay at home mom. So, currently, I have plenty of time to schedule pet care. Please let me know when your pet needs some TLC!) We have a fenced back yard with room for dogs to go out and stretch and take care of other business:-) We have two dogs that can easily stay with family while we watch your fur baby, or our little dog, can stay to give your dog company. We will be happy to play fetch or go on walks as well.
“I had a great experience with Anabel and her family! This was my puppy’s first time staying with a dog sitter, and everything went really well. Anabel and her family were very friendly, welcoming, and caring. They were also very responsive and always got back to me quickly whenever I checked in. Most importantly, my puppy had a great time and seemed very happy and comfortable there. I would definitely recommend Anabel and her family and would be happy to have Joy stay with them again!”

“She was amazing with our dog! Sent us pictures and videos to keep us updated and kept track of her on a behavior sheet that she gave to us at the end of the day! Definitely will be going back !!”

“Tina was absolutely amazing. My dog felt so comfortable and less anxiety leaving her place. She even gave us a partying gift of treats . Her home was welcoming and I received pictures daily on updates on how my fur baby was doing at her stay. I would highly recommend and book again.”

About: Hi! My name is Yamilca, and I’m a lifelong fur baby lover with years of experience caring for pets. I’ve been a Rover customer for almost 6 years, so I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your furry family members. Fur babies have always been a huge part of my life. Over the years, I’ve cared for hamsters, bunnies, birds, cats, and dogs. I’ve always had a natural connection with them, and I genuinely enjoy making every fur baby feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m also a proud pet mom to a 14-year-old Shih Tzu mix who has been with me since he was 8 weeks old. He came to us from Puerto Rico and is truly part of our family. Because of his age and a seizure he experienced earlier this year, he has lost most of his vision and hearing. Caring for him has taught me a great deal about patience, senior pets, special needs, medication routines, mobility limitations, and the importance of paying close attention to changes in a pet’s behavior. I know that every fur baby is different. Some are energetic and playful, while others are shy, anxious, elderly, or simply need extra patience and reassurance. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, and individual needs so they can feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. As someone who regularly uses Rover myself when I travel or need someone to care for my own fur baby, I understand the peace of mind that comes from receiving updates and knowing your pet is in good hands. My goal is to provide that same peace of mind to you. Your fur baby will be treated with kindness, patience, respect, and plenty of love. 🐶🐱❤️ I would love the opportunity to meet you and your fur baby and become someone you can trust for their care! I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of extra time and flexibility to spend with my sweet old boy. I would love for him to have some furry friends to keep him company and bring a little extra joy and companionship into our home. 🐾❤️ I’m home often and genuinely enjoy having fur babies around, so caring for your pet would be something I would truly enjoy—not just a job. My goal is to make every guest feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I lived in an apartment, I always walked my dog with his leash it keeps him safe, And I have a small fence balcony with simulated green grass and lots of plants so your babies can spent time outside getting fresh air and aun if they like to.
About: Over 50 years of caring for dogs, cats and small birds. More recently, I have fostered over 15 dogs with unique needs and personalities and also have experience with seniors. I have 2 dog friendly pups. One large doodle who is gentle with small dogs and one senior, small doodle who provides cuddles and comfort to visitors. My dogs are family and guests are treated with extra care and attention. I'm home most days and usually only gone for a few hours. I do separate dogs and play calm music during this time. Dogs are on a regular, feeding and potty schedule as well as medication that might be needed. I have a variety of enclosures and a fenced yard. Dogs are introduced slowly and always supervised while inside and outside. If needed, I can provide a quiet space for shy, sensitive or special need pups. There is regular play that includes ball, puzzles, snuffle mat, kiddie pool, sprinkler and lots of squirrels to chase.
About: I stand out because I care for pets the way I care for people — with gentleness, consistency, and a whole lot of love. I’m comfortable with puppies who need training, seniors who need slower days, and pets with unique personalities or quirks. I create a calm, home‑like environment and give each pet the kind of attention that helps them feel secure and happy. Pet care is naturally woven into my daily rhythm. I start and end my day with walks, check‑ins, and playtime, and I build my weekly schedule around giving pets consistent attention and structure. Whether it’s morning potty breaks, midday walks, or evening cuddle time, caring for animals fits seamlessly into how I plan my days. In my home, pets are treated like family. I make sure they have cozy resting spots, fresh water, regular potty breaks, and lots of playtime and affection. When I’m in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow their established routines so their pet feels completely at ease. I pay close attention to their comfort, energy level, and personality so I can give them care that feels familiar and reassuring.
“We used Ernest for Doggy Day Care. Ernest is very professional. More importantly, he is very affectionate towards dogs and very easy to work with. It was a very pleasant experience.”

“Monica is the best! Very prompt and courteous in replying to messages, and very personable overall. Our dogs had a blast with her, even our grumpy Frenchie! She is very experienced and adept at handling multiple dogs at once, and has systems for separating pups if needed. We will definitely be booking with Monica again for our doggy needs.”
About: I’m a hugee dog lover. I grew up with dogs and once had 12 of them living in our house. As a stay at home wife, I’m available to give your fur baby the loving care they need while you’re out taking care of life’s things. I am a stay home wife so I have a plenty of time to look after your pet. They will be attended at all times. We have a fully fenced backyard that directly faces a beautiful park, making it ideal for safe, supervised play and daily walks. I will provide a loving, secure home environment for your pets. I’m very attentive to their needs, routines, and safety at all times.
About: I'm available all day to your furry friend! I am a stay at home wife with a consistent schedule and patient with all types of personalities. Being Rover, I've had experience from helping a mama cat give birth to her babies to senior dog care with medication. I love what I do and grateful to help owners feel at ease while they are away from their pets. I require that your pet be flea free and on a monthly flea and tick prevention. Make sure all immunizations are up to date. A clean pet is a happy pet! :) My priority in the morning is to make sure everybody is fed. (Not like they let me forget since they are the ones who poke my face to wake me up). I make sure the water bowl is clean and filled up. I am a stay-at-home wife so your furry friends will have all my attention. I'm usually cleaning, baking, cooking, gardening, or going on strolls/gym time. My husband is also a HUGE animal lover so your baby/babies will be getting 2x the love when he gets home. Usually at night, it's game time, movie time, or just hanging around with the cats. The cats usually always sleep with us, but if not, they sleep on the couch. I live in a three bedroom house with a big backyard, but one of the rooms is no pet allowed. My husband and I have a shaded patio that is gated with chicken wire so our cat friends can also enjoy the outside. The patio is separated with a gate-door, so if we are hosting a dog they can enjoy at the same time with no problems. The extra room we have allows our guest/s to have their own room with their own window. They are free to walk through the house and make themselves comfortable.
“I'm always very pleased with how well my dog is taken care of with Mr. Jonathan. He comes back very tired from all the running around and ball-fetching. I couldn't be more happier!”

I have enjoyed Carmen taking care of my puppy. She has a very nice playroom and her bernedoodle is very friendly. My puppy has enjoyed everytime that he has been there. The communication has been very good about how he has been when he is there and she takes really cute pics and sent them to me also.

I can’t described with words how blessed we are having Iman taking care of my sweet old boy, I was so nervous because he has a few medical issues and she was wonderful, she did so great that on his last drop off Picasso would just run between and around her feets , he felt so safe and loved by her that you could tell just looking at him trying to get her attention. Thank you Iman, will be forever grateful and we know you’ll be the best veterinarian ever!!!! 🫶🏾🐾🫶🏾

This was our first time taking Mirra to spend the day with Abigail and her lovely family. It went well! Abigail was so good about sending pictures during the day and notes. We'll plan on having Mirra spend time there again. Abigail is very good about seeing to her pets' needs. I think Mirra felt right at home, other than there were children in this home, who were very sweet to her!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your North Richland Hills commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
