“Ellie surpassed my expectations! It was my first time leaving my cat with someone and I was pretty nervous. She was willing to come over for a meet and greet to put my mind at ease, which I really appreciated. Day 1 of her visits posed a problem due to a new front desk man in my building, but Ellie was still willing to come back a few hours after she originally tried to stop by, which I’m eternally grateful for! My cat seemed to enjoy every second with Ellie and she was sure to complete everything on his care insurrections AND send lots of pictures ? I’m already looking forward to hiring Ellie again!”

“Anana was brilliant. She sent goofy pics of our little orange boy. There was an issue with our door and she worked with us to work through it. She communicated well and is very reliable. Thank you so much Anana!”

“We are so grateful Lauren was available to care for our kittens. It was our first time leaving them for longer than a weekend but they were in great hands and warmed up to her quickly! They got plenty of attention while she watch them and we hope to book Lauren again when we are traveling again this winter.”

About: I’ve cared for a variety of pets since childhood—including dogs, cats, and fishes. I enjoy getting my steps in by walking my cousin’s dog and have been a reliable helper for my friend’s two cats. I regularly volunteer at PAWS and love to cater to animals needs. I can do most days from Monday to Sunday. The time that works best for me is early morning to late afternoon. Let me know what works for you! I prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort above all. I make sure their environment is clean and calm. I follow all care instructions closely and keep you updated regularly so you can trust your pet is in good hands.

“Tiffani was so great with our two cats for drop in feedings. One of my cats is not very nice and they got along just fine and he even let her get a quick pet here and there. They got lots of playtime and pets and I got lots of fun photo and video updates. Thanks Tiffani!!!”

About: My family always had a dog growing up, so im very familiar with them. Then, after I moved out I got cats of my own, and learned how to take care of them too! Im at teacher, so im typically available nights and weekends. I'd be able to come over and provide whatever necessary services after school and on weekends I make sure I respect the pet's boundaries. I never pet a cat or dog first unless I know it's okay and they feel comfortable with it! I've watched dogs and cats at my apartment before, and we always make sure the pets feel safe

About: I have been around dogs since I was 10 years old! I love to play with dogs and take them for walks, as it also allows me to be active. I used to coordinate with family and friends to visit their homes and take care of their dogs on days they worked in the office so that they were never alone. While I do work full-time, my schedule is hybrid, which gives me some flexibility. I'm in the office every other week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so I’m available to visit your dogs during my lunch break or after work, depending on what works best for you! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to stick closely to their routines and preferences to keep them comfortable and happy. Maintaining open and consistent communication with pet parents is important to me. I understand how important peace of mind is when someone else is caring for your fur baby, so I will provide regular updates, photos, and am always available to answer questions or give quick check-ins. I want every pet parent to feel totally at ease knowing their pet is in loving, capable hands.

About: I've had dogs since I was little—mostly medium or small breeds—and I’ve always been passionate about getting one of my own. Dogs truly are man's best friend, and they motivate me to get outside for walks and explore the city. I’m always happy to take care of their needs, whether that’s feeding them, cleaning up after them, or even house-sitting for a couple of hours. I work 3 days a week for 12 hours at a hospital. My schedule change every week, as well as working every other weekend. However, I do have 4 days off every week that I am motivated to walk dogs. They bring happiness which I would love to experience. On my off days I am very bored and have the entire day to play with the dog or take them on up to 2/3 walks. Unfortunately pets are not allowed in my apartment building, however, I love pets and have cared for them my entire life. I am interested in walking dogs or drop in visits.

About: We’ve had dogs growing up since I was 13. I’m often called by friends and family to take care of their dogs and make sure they get everything they need while they’re away. Including feeding, walks, playtime, and giving them any medication they might be on. I am new to the Chicago area, moving up at the end of June. I’ll have a very flexible schedule while I look for work. I am very patient and loving with pups of all shapes and sizes and age. I am dependable to keep a time schedule for all of your pups needs.

About: I grew up with at least two cats at all times and am well equipped at taking care of them. Over the past several years I have pet sit for friends, family and acquaintances. I have done drop in visits, walks, and overnight housesitting, usually for two or more pets at once. I care about making your pets feel comfortable and making sure they are well taken care of. I am currently searching for a part or full time job near me so am very open! I will update my availability as it changes. I care about making sure your pets are comfortable, and they and your home are taken care of! I am a respectable guest and caretaker.

“Hanna leaves terrific updates on our 3 cats and took excellent care of them while we were out of town on an extended trip. Highly recommend her for professionalism and attention to our pets.”

About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs, and I’m always eager to keep learning to ensure your fur babies are happy and well cared for. I’m someone who truly enjoys giving pets the full attention they deserve. I love being playful and will happily keep your fur babies entertained until they’re all tuckered out! While I am Deaf, I wear a cochlear implant that helps me stay alert and aware of my surroundings. If I ever notice anything unusual with your pets, I will contact you right away and explain everything in detail—because their well-being means just as much to me as it does to you. Clear communication is my top priority. I make it a point to fully understand your instructions so I can care for your pets exactly the way you want. I currently offer drop-in visits and check-ins to ensure your pets are happy, safe, and cared for while you're away. If needed, I’m also available to stay in your home during the day or evening to give your pets extra company and attention. At this time, I am not offering boarding or overnight house sitting services. When I visit your home, I will make sure your fur babies are well cared for—this includes feeding them, refilling their water, taking them out for potty breaks, and spending quality time playing and keeping them company. I strongly believe that your pets’ safety is my #1 priority. When you provide a list of your pets’ specific needs and routines, I will follow your instructions carefully and treat your fur babies as if they were my own.

Jordan A.
“Jordan used to take care of my cat when I needed a pet sitter! At the time, I would drop my cat off with him as she was young, and his cats tolerated her. I would absolutely trust him to come to my apartment to care for all of my current animals at any time. Jordan also fostered one of my previous cats when I was unable to have her due to a living situation, and he took amazing care of her. She was on medication and a special diet at the time, and he made sure she got her meds daily and that she had access to her food but not the other cat's food. Jordan is great with dogs as well! My current dog loves him. Jordan loves being outdoors and would be a great choice to take your pup out for a stroll. He once walked my sister's dog for 2+ hours while she was moving.”

Tiffany V.

“Tiffany arrived on time, took great care of my dog during the visit, and provided helpful pictures and update.”

I highly recommend Calvin to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and passionate. I’d trust him to walk and look over my pets anyday!”

Mary C.
“To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to recommend my sister, Marycate Carroll, as a potential dog walker for Rover. As someone who has known her all my life, I can confidently say that she is one of the most responsible, caring, and trustworthy individuals I know, and her love for animals is no secret. Mary has always had a natural connection with dogs. Whether it's our old family dogs, Scooby and Gus, or dogs she meets in the neighborhood, she has a calm and confident energy that animals respond to. She is attentive to their needs, and genuinely enjoys spending time with them—whether it's going on long walks, making sure they get enough exercise, or simply keeping them company. But most importantly, she knows how to get dogs to listen when needed. Mary is incredibly reliable and organized. She understands the importance of punctuality and clear communication. You can count on her to show up on time, follow any specific instructions, and ensure each dog gets the care and attention they deserve. I have no doubt that any dog would be in excellent hands with Mary, and that pet owners will feel completely at ease knowing she's taking care of their furry friend.”

Kaitlyn is amazing. My cat is 19, on meds, and going a little blind, and Kaitlyn was so understanding and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable with leaving my baby girl with her. I also really appreciate her detailed notes. I’ll be booking with her again.

Crystal was great. We’ll definitely try to rebook her next time we travel. She took excellent care of our elderly cat, Patches who requires medication for hyperthyroidism. She was very pleasant and professional asking all the right questions when we met. It was very comforting to receive photos of their daily visits while we were out of the country. She even left Patches with some new toys after her final visit. We would recommend Crystal without reservation.

Sydney took great care of my boys. Her reports were thorough. Houdini loved getting cuddles, and she respected Poe's discernment on meeting new people and didn't force him to interact. I'm glad I found her, someone who understands cat behavior. I will definitely ask her to watch my boys again. Thank you Sydney!

Katie was an absolute Gem. She was the first person I started communicating with on Rover and after our Meet & Greet, we knew she was a perfect person to take care of our beloved Rango. She didn't disappoint. She took care of our dog as if it were her own. We will definitely be setting up future services with her. We strongly recommend Katie.

Every experience with Amanda has been fantastic! If you’re looking for help, I highly recommend working with Amanda - she always provides high quality care with detailed updates that give crucial peace of mind while you’re away from home. You can tell she truly cares for animals and you can easily see the positive impact she has on your pet’s wellbeing. Thank you for the help, Amanda!

Ingrid once again did a fantastic, thorough job taking care of my cats while I took a short weekend trip, including picking up and moving a new rug that one of my cats was chewing on the pad of - I didn’t have to worry about my cat eating a bunch of foam, and I appreciated Ingrid handling it proactively. Book with confidence!
