One of my dogs needs to have his bladder expressed due to a spinal injury, Haley went out of her way to learn how to express his bladder and ensure his comfort. Haley gave the dogs ample outdoor time, shared photos and detailed report cards throughout the day which gave us peace of mind. You can tell when your dogs had their basic needs met vs. when they also had enrichment (play time, cuddles, etc.), my dogs clearly had enrichment with Haley taking care of them. The dogs were happy and content when we returned home, they hardly missed us! Cannot recommend Haley highly enough.”

About: I have take care of dogs and cats since I can remember. I’ve always had family pets that I looked after. Recently I started to pet sit professionally and have looked after pets with all manners of personalities and needs. I am currently working full time with a hybrid schedule. Monday through Wednesday in the office and Thursday through Friday remote. I am free every weekend and anytime after 5pm. Because each pet parent is unique and has their own ways to raise and care for their pets I strictly adhere to their rules and guidelines. That includes areas they have their pets walk and house rules for those that request house sitting.

About: I have been surrounded by animals for my whole life. Appreciation from animals became important to me and care for them became important too. No task is too much for taking care of my own or someone else's pet(s). I have a routine for how I take care of my own cat (ie. feeding schedules and litter cleaning schedules). My evenings are some of the most important times for caring for pets either through direct care or playing, as this is both for them and for me. I would care for them a lot like I care for my own pet. Feeding, care, and play routines all matter. As long as the dog/cat is willing to participate in play with me (with trust and in their comfort zone) I would engage with them.

“Dejah was a new sitter when I booked her, and after requesting several sitters, she was the only one who both got back to me and could sit my cat in such a short turnaround time. It was a nervy experience being my first time on Rover letting a stranger take care of my cat for a week while I was out of the area, but she couldn’t have done a better job. She was super polite, prompt at responding, did everything that was asked of her (and more), took great photos, and went above and beyond the 30 minute bookings each and every time. My cat, who is typically shy of strangers, loved her the second she met her, and was very interactive with her in the brief moments we saw, which she only does with those who she feels safe around. As a new sitter and charging a fair rate, Dejah couldn’t have done any better job than one who had hundreds of 5 stars; the level of service and attention to detail makes it so that if I ever need a cat sitter again, I have one I will always contact first. About: I've always been surrounded by animals. I have experience with puppies, kitties, senior dogs, reactive dogs, and large breed dogs. I would love to care for your fur babies! I am available to love on your babies full time! Whatever their routine is, we will be able to stick to it. I am happy to stay overnight with your babies, or get to them as early as needed. I will make sure all their needs are met. Food and water will always be handled as instructed, play time and pets go without saying, and a potty break will never be missed! I have been in a situation where my sitter did not let my dogs out in a timely manner, and I would not put someone through that stress. Your babies don't deserve that!

About: Besides caring for my childhood dog, Houston, since I was 11 years old, I formally became very involved in pet care during college. I joined an organization called 4 Paws for Ability that raises and trains service dogs for veterans and children with disabilities. I began as a sitter for the primary trainers on campus, watching their dog for a couple of hours during the day. Beginning my junior year, I began raising Red through 4 Paws, a 10 week old Golden-lab. I raised Red, while juggling class and work, until he was 1.5 years old and went off to advanced training. He now works as a facility dog at Dayton Children's Hospital. Since graduating, I remain involved with pet sitting for family and friends. I have sat my boss's daughter's cats (interesting, I know) and my aunt's puppy for a week. I love taking pictures of any and all animals, so expect photo updates often! I currently am a first year medical student here in Buffalo. Class is usually over by mid-day during most week days, making me very available for a walk or drop in visit. Furthermore, my weekends are pretty open for the time being, so I'd love to keep your pets company as a house sitter and have a relaxing (or active) weekend with them. I am very observant when it comes to things that are potentially harmful in reach of the pet. I will ensure your pet does not get into anything they shouldn't! Also, I have experience with ensuring dogs are safe in their kennel prior to leaving so your fur baby and home are safe.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 8 years old and have experience with many different types of dogs, as well as other animals. I’m very thorough and attentive when it comes to understanding and meeting each pet’s individual needs. I have a deep love and appreciation for animals, especially dogs, and I always want them to feel safe, comfortable, happy, and well cared for while they’re with me! I currently work remotely as a legal assistant, which gives me a flexible and open schedule for dog sitting and overnight stays. I’m able to bring my work equipment with me, so I can comfortably work from your home while keeping your pup company throughout the day. I also nanny part-time for about two hours a day, but otherwise my schedule is very flexible! I always try to keep pets comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. About: I have been caring for dogs since I was 7 years old. I trained 2 Shitzus and 1 Chihuahua from puppies, and cared for them until they passed. I have skills in bathing, walking, grooming, feeding, and administering certain medications. I am very compassionate and will care for your pets like my own. I work full time, but I work a 10 minute walk away from my apartment, so if I am watching your pet at my home, or if you live near me, I can make afternoon visits for walks, feedings, or company. I leave my apartment around 10a and arrive back home around 6p on a normal day, but I can make afternoon visits as well and I can even work remotely some days. My schedule is very flexible, so I can make most things work as long as I know in advance. I have no pets in my apartment currently, but my apartment is pet-friendly. I do not own any crates or other items, so I would need to have those provided for me if boarding your pet. My apartment has doors to close in every room to keep your pet from wandering if need be, but I also keep my space very tidy and neat, so nothing unsafe is within reach anyways. I do not have a yard, but I live in a very walkable neighborhood with a lot of grassy spots for your pet to enjoy and utilize. I also have a fenced park nearby if they like to run around and play.
