2. Jessie W.
About: . As cliché as it sounds , dogs are my life! I am passionate about the way they communicate. I highly enjoyed back when I volunteered at a foster rescue agency in Charlotte, NC. This opportunity polished my skill of handling myself in high pressure and high energy situations when it comes to dogs and cats. Working for Rover, growing up with dogs, and volunteering was another rewarding pet experience I had which gives you basic but hands on independent experience with clients and there furry loved ones. Rover is actually my main job. It’s enough to support yourself as well as I love the schedule flexibility. I am home most of the time and if I do leave it’s usually just to the grocery store or maybe to dinner. I love being home and watching TV or doing some type of new art. I’m studying to attend Animal Behavior College so I can train PTSD Service dogs and maybe even help socialize shelter pups. As I said I am home most of the time minus the normal grocery store run or what have you. They will get frequent potty breaks as well as a nighttime long walk to wind down so shall they stay overnight. If they have any problem areas,I like to dedicate a small slot of time to enrichment aka knowing as training time. Great way to help me practice as well as help any areas a part might need to work on… Not that they’re not perfect as is 😇. I’m a single mom who has my son by myself full-time however, please don’t think that will interrupt the level of care or undivided attention that your pup will have! My son loves animals he absolutely gets so excited whenever I have a client! Due to being a single mother, I am home full-time, and Rover as I said as my main job. Although I don’t even look at it as a job I seriously love what I do. Whenever I do have a client, I like to adapt to whatever your pups schedule is! I don’t mind getting up as early as 6 AM if that’s what they’re used to. I found that it’s better to keep them on the schedule that they have at home as it helps them acclimate to being away from home. I love my clients and I’m very signature with each one. I like to tailor my service based on the clients needs. For instance, if they are an anxious client with separation anxiety, I will sleep in the living room with them so they do not feel alone. I even like to do little blanket forts with my son and the client and that gives them a little den to feel safe in. If they don’t mind being in the bedroom they are more than welcome in there. I give each client free roam of my home. Whether you choose your home or mine, I will focus solely on making sure your fur baby is not only cared for, but stays entertained as well as meet all of their needs accurately and on time. What’s more is that my home is a calm, peaceful, spacious 4 bedroom with a good size backyard. In the backyard, I have a stake leash tie out so your pup can be secured since it’s not fully fenced in but they also will have about a 20 foot diameter to roam around and feel free. I never leave any client unattended out there however just for safety precautions. In my home, I have plenty of guest items in case you forget anything such as toys, food/water bowls, beds, even doggie sweaters in three different sizes for the colder months and doggy boots in two sizes in case it’s muddy/rainy! I offer meet and greets before the sitting so you and your fur baby can get comfortable and acclimated with myself and my home and I can then address any concerns and answer any questions you may have. During the meet and greet I will also ask YOU a few short yet detailed questions to make sure I take the utmost care of your fur baby while you’re away be it in your home or mine! Some of the questions include specific feeding times, vet & ICE information, favorite, toys, and games, and discuss any behavior issues or anxieties and how I can best comfort them! All pups get to go home with a thank you card and a new toy whether it’s a rope, ball, or squeaker depending on what their favorite is! As you’ll see, it’s an option to take care of your pup in your home if you’re more comfortable with that. When you book housesitting, this includes of course, first and foremost, taking care of your fur baby just the way I would at my house but also includes watering any plants, bringing in any packages or mail, and though it’s not specified through Rover, I like to go above and beyond, so I don’t mind doing any laundry or lighthouse cleaning. I assure you when you arrive home your home will be in the same if not better condition then you left it!

13. Beth S.
“Our pup Avocado had a blast with Beth’s three dogs, each of whom was an excellent host. Beth was responsive and caring, and exceptionally kind and understanding when Avocado had tummy issues due to the fact that he (unbeknownst to us at the time) ate some food that disagreed with him before we dropped him off.”
14. Holly B.
“This was a last minute booking and Holly was more than eager to watch our Anakin. Holly was a delight to meet, very friendly, outgoing, and personable. She was great with Anakin and sent us updates, pictures throughout the day and had him play with her dog and asked if she could give him things before providing anything. Holly made us feel at ease and Anakin was very happy when we picked him up and even got a new toy which he has not let go. We highly recommend Holly for your pet care needs and will use her again if we’re in the area. Thank you Holly!”
15. Mariana & Enrique M.

16. monica g.
“Monica was friendly and made us feel comfortable leaving our pup with her. She sent photos of our girl as well as let us know how she was doing. Thank you for taking care of Pepper for the day while our family explored the area.”
17. Lauren P.
“Lauren has been around dogs for as long as I can remember. She is extremely loving, caring and gentle with dogs. She has experience training through positive reinforcement methods, as she trained her own dog, Sonny that way. She has years of dog experience and definitely has tremendous patience with all dog breeds. You can certainly trust Lauren and have peace of mind knowing that your dog(s) will definitely be in good hands!”
18. Kiyomi & Edward M.
“After we met Kiyomi we knew our 4 cats and little special needs dog were in loving, capable hands. She was able to easily administer insulin, and our cat’s pills with love and patience. Her communication skills are wonderful and we were so excited to receive daily videos and pictures of our babies. Our 16 year old dog is very fearful of strangers, so imagine our surprise to see Kiyomi feeding Sadie by hand to gain her trust. ❤️ Coming home, the pet dishes and feeding areas were clean and sparkling. Finding Kiyomi to care for our furry loved ones was the best decision we’ve made.”
19. Kimberly H.
“Kim was absolutely amazing! She was flexible with our changing schedule and Bentley loved visiting her house. Highly recommended. Thanks for everything!”
20. Lea K.
About: Hello! I'm a full time remote employee who works in health care and would love to meet your doggie. I have a 2 year old terrier mix puppy who enjoys playing with dogs. Since I work from home, I can take your dog for walks every few hours and spend time entertaining and playing with them! I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes, including small and large breeds along with puppies and seniors. Before I moved to the area, I sat for several dogs on Rover through my fiance's account. Dogs are free to roam around my apartment and enjoy the safely enclosed backyard! I will give them lots of love and attention as I do for my own dog! I work remote full time and have time in my schedule to watch dogs. I'm available most weekends and can even make a visit to a local dog park. I have a fully fenced backyard (safely enclosed because our dog is an escape artist). Your dog is free to roam around the apartment and the yard. I always supervise when outside.
