About: Hi, I’m new-ish to Rover and I’m so excited to have the chance to be a care sitter for your furry boy/girl! I’ve been raised around dogs from a variety of breeds since I was 10 years old when I got my very first dog, a miniature Schnauzer named Tank. My dad made it very clear that if I wanted a dog, the responsibility would be mine, and so from that age I learned how to care for him myself—feeding, walking, cleaning up, and making sure he was happy and well cared for. Since then, caring for dogs has always been something that comes naturally to me. I understand what our furry friends need for each stage of their life and their quirky qualities🐾 I have 2 large breed working/guard dogs and raised them how to sit, stay, down, drop it, and come as far as basic commands go, if there’s anything your pet needs considering training needs I’m eager to know and learn about them 😁 Either way, I love all dogs no matter the background, my focus is that they are cared and loved as if they were at home! I’m work from home—pet care fits right in my schedule since I’m home all day and am available to walk, feed, water, and train them as needed and on my breaks! I’m adaptable and fully flexible to your pets schedule, needs, and routine. I have medium and large sized crates as well as a 1200sq ft backyard fenced off if they want to get active any time of the day! If you have any toys for your furry friends to fetch or to chew bring them along!🐾 I am also within 5 min of the dog park and love taking my dogs to stretch their legs, so walks are with purpose and reward always! My upmost priority is to ensure your pup is having a comfortable, relaxing stay and is nurtured all the way through.

“Scott did a great job caring for my cat Smokey while I was away. Smokey can be slow to warm up to people, but he opened up to Scott quickly and was playful and talkative. Smokey had a little digestive upset the day before I was leaving on my trip, so Scott took care to send me details on his eating & litter box findings so I could stay updated which helped me relax! Scott is kind, caring and paid attention to the details. Things were tidy when I got home and Smokey was relaxed and happy. Will definitely book Scott again in the future!”
