Nuvea was available last minute to care for Huckleberry in her home. He enjoyed a play date with a few fellow canines and a cat. Nuvea was able to accommodate treat time and dinner for him and excursions in her backyard. When we returned Huckleberry was happy and ready to resume his care for his girl. “This was our first time using Rover, and therefore our first time having Jon walk our dog. We asked Jon to come by each day at 7, as it gets pretty hot here in the desert quite early in the morning. Sammi is used to hour long walks as well. We can say Jon did not disappoint! He was at our house every morning at 7 on the nose and gave our Sammi a full hour walk each day. They walked a mile plus on each journey and Sammi looked forward to seeing him every day. Could not have asked for a better experience!”

About: Joe and I have had dogs (Dalmation) and cats (Ocicats, Siamese) for as long as we've known each other. They become part of the family. If you can't pick up your pet before 7pm, one additional day of boarding or doggy daycare will be added to your booking. An additional fee will be added for dogs over 40 pounds. Dogs under 1 year and/or "bully breeds" will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. By booking with me, you acknowledge that if your puppo damages property, you are responsible for any cost of repairs or replacement. When damage occurs, it is usually caused by pets that do not crate or have high anxiety when left alone for even short periods. My policy on dog breeds and sizes is in place because of two separate incidents. First, I lost a beloved pet to a boarded Rover doggo on Christmas morning, 2020. Having to put my little pig Minnie in the freezer after being attacked on Christmas morning was a horribly traumatic experience. In June 2023 I was attacked by a 110lb Rover dog at a meet and greet and had to go to the hospital. If the owner had not been present, I would have been killed. These are incidents that I will not risk repeating. Thank you so much for understanding!

“Elizabeth was very kind and accommodating to our medium sized dog for two nights while we visited Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree National Park. We did a "meet and greet" about six or seven weeks prior to our trip which gave us the assurance we needed that Jon was someone we could trust with our most prized possession.
