I know that each dog has their own personality and I love seeing them shine in there own ways. I have taken care of dogs as young as 6 months old to dogs that are 9 years old. I know that senior dogs definitely need more attention when it comes to potty breaks. I also have changed dog diapers. I also grown up with large dog breeds such as Pitbulls, Rottweilers and Huskies. We were staying at a pet friendly resort but wanted a day where we didn’t have to worry about leaving Dot alone for too long, or bringing her out with us during the hottest time of the year. My schedule is open Monday through Friday. On weekends, I work as an Activities Assistant at a care home, which reflects my strong background in responsibility, patience, and compassionate care. My piggy will be there to keep your baby company and I have a 14 year old kid who loves to snuggle and play with all your pets! Cats will enjoy their own space so they can feel comfortable ☺️ !!!Important Notes!!!: I love watching and caring for your snuggle bug(s)! However, I have to sleep too. If you can't pick up your pet before 7pm, one additional day of boarding or doggy daycare will be added to your booking. An additional fee will be added for dogs over 40 pounds. Dogs under 1 year and/or "bully breeds" will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. By booking with me, you acknowledge that if your puppo damages property, you are responsible for any cost of repairs or replacement. When damage occurs, it is usually caused by pets that do not crate or have high anxiety when left alone for even short periods. My policy on dog breeds and sizes is in place because of two separate incidents. First, I lost a beloved pet to a boarded Rover doggo on Christmas morning, 2020. Having to put my little pig Minnie in the freezer after being attacked on Christmas morning was a horribly traumatic experience. In June 2023 I was attacked by a 110lb Rover dog at a meet and greet and had to go to the hospital. If the owner had not been present, I would have been killed. These are incidents that I will not risk repeating. Thank you so much for understanding!
About: I was working at an animal hospital and have a degree in veterinary science so I have plenty of experience with animals. I now work from home and have a house with a doggy door and two side yards that are all accessible and fully enclosed with a brick wall. I do have an older dog who is friendly with others and keeps to herself. I am fully capable of administering any medications and/or injecting insulin as needed. I am very attentive and passionate with the animals and have professional references to attest to that. I now work full time from home so I have ample time to keep your four legged friends company while I’m working. There won’t be a dull moment! My yard is completely fenced and accessible with a doggy door to ensure the pets have plenty of space to run and use the bathroom when needed. I do have a pool.

“We needed a new dog sitter for our 2 dogs for over 10 days. We were little worried first because it would be their first time staying with Jon and it was kinda long time. Our dogs seemed to adjust to the new environment slowly and gave Jon a hard time. However he seemed to be very patient and kind to our dogs so that they get to settle in their temporary home for 10 days. He sent us pictures and videos of them many times as we requested so we were well informed how our fur babies were doing. I believe they had great time playing with other dogs and want Jon to take care of our dogs again in the future.”
