6. kevin s.

“Kevin is very personable and obviously an animal lover. My 3 dogs are as important to me as any other family member, and I was totally confident in leaving them in his care. Kevin stayed in touch with us, sending pics and messages to let us know all was well. Kevin was attentive to their care as 2 require medication and being typical lap dogs, they like lots of attention. Kevin was respectful of our home and our belongings. We highly recommend Kevin and will gladly have him care for our dogs in the future.”

“Tyler was amazing with watching my dogs. I had no concerns at all. He followed all of the instructions perfectly…I would definitely use him again!”

10. Darin M.

“Darin was a great choice for us, our dog was happy to have him and we’re glad to give him a referral, we got updates, pics and Beau got play with his girl friend done the street. We never used a dog sitter before and I know that we can leave him when needed because the bond Darin made with our dog and neighbors. Thank you”

11. Tony R.

“Tony was amazing with our Sheepadoodle Califern. We ran into a pinch over the Thanksgiving holiday and needed to find coverage quickly and Tony delivered. He was flexible with Cali's needs and sent me updates with pictures during the stay. We joke that our dog is like our child and we're not kidding that we would talk about her nightly if she were ok and missing us. Having communication and pictures helped us know she was in a good space. I'd highly recommend boarding your dogs with Tony. He was awesome. --Tom”

About: I’ve rescued senior pets for over a decade and have plenty of experience with puppies, cats, and pets with big personalities. I run my own business and mostly work from home, so your furry fam will get all the attention, love, and weird little chats they deserve. I’m all about keeping animals comfy, happy, and feeling like they’re right where they belong! Since I work from home and set my own schedule, I can easily build my day around your pet’s needs. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or cozy overnight hangs, I’ve got the flexibility (and the snack stash) to make sure your furry one gets consistent care and attention. Whether I’m in your home or mine, your pet’s comfort and safety come first. I keep a calm, clean environment, follow routines closely, and pay attention to the little things—like where they like to nap or how they like their treats. I’m big on clear communication, lots of updates, and creating a space that feels safe, familiar, and full of love (and maybe a squeaky toy or two).

13. Judy I.

“Judy is a wonderful sitter. She took great care of Cuddles while we were out of town for six nights. I felt very comfortable leaving our dog Cuddles for such a long time with her. Judy checked in with me every day and let me know how Cuddles was doing. I am sure you will appreciate Judy's capable dog sitting skills! I am sure to use her services again.”

14. Renee O.

“It's so great to be able to enjoy travel knowing your pets are getting the care they would get from us. Renee took such good care of them, and the photos were outstanding. How come I can't take photos that good? Communication was excellent. Updates were timely. Neighbors reporting meeting Renee on walkies and remarking about how personable she was, and how obviously she liked Peaches, the wonder dog. I will certainly use Renee again, and recommend her to anyone who wants a pet sitter who loves pets.”

15. Mavi P.

“Mavi spent 3 days and nights with our Senior dog and cat. She was incredible. I couldn't have asked for her to be better than she was. She was atttentive to them, sent me lots of picturs and updates on how everyone was doing. When we got home it was like we never left. The house and yard were immaculate and the kids were all well taken care of. I highly recommend Mavi.”

About: I used to volunteer at a senior dog rescue in Monterey. I fell in love with the dogs there and ended up adopting two senior poodles. I had them a few years before they passed and it was the most rewarding experience of my life. I’ve worked in IT for 20 years but nothing comes close to caring for a dog. I’m looking to care for dogs full time as a career. I’m also in the process of volunteering for a guide dog and rescue organization in Palm Springs. I’m comfortable with giving medicine and the special care required for senior dogs with mobility issues. I even have a fancy dog stroller that converts into a car seat if needed for trips to the park. I understand how important it is for dogs to get physical and mental engagement to keep them happy and healthy. I’ve also been trained on how to spot a dogs communication signs when they are upset, stressed or uncomfortable and how to relax them. I only have experience with small and medium sized dogs at this time. I’m currently on sabbatical so I have all the time and attention to focus on your lovely pooch(es) and excited to meet all the lovely dog and dog owners in the valley. They will never be left alone or not have 100% of my attention. Physical and mental engagement are a priority! I have brand new dog beds, blankets, treats and water bowls all ready to go. I also live walking distance away from Demuth Park. My backyard is fenced and locked but does have an uncovered pool so dogs will never be outside without a harness or leash. My place is quiet, well appointed, and is safe for dogs to roam safely. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and bed.

17. Dolores H.
“Dolores took care of my two dogs for a week. I was very pleased with her. She took them out on long walks and sent me many pictures of them having fun. My dogs loved her! My dogs are fed twice a day and there were no problems with my dogs eating. I would not hesitate to hire her again she is the best!!!!”

18. Chris H.

“Chris was an amazing dog sitter and house-sitter. He took great care of my very old husky. He took her on walks, gave her medications, and kept her company for a week while I traveled. He also took great care of my home, leaving it cleaner than when I left! You will be very lucky if Chris takes care of your pets and house. He’s a great communicator and a wonderful animal caretaker. Thank you, Chris!”

19. Todd S.

“Our older dog has become confused and anxious when we leave the house. Todd came to the rescue when we needed a night out. Will definitely be calling him again.”

20. Tigh K.

“Tigh was professional, trustworthy and clearly has a love for dogs. I highly recommend and he will use him again.”
