“I cannot express how amazing Marissa has been!! My schedule has been insanely unpredictable and Marissa has been there for my pup throughout the whole thing. 1000000% recommend.”

About: Hi, I’m Hanna! I’ve been caring for animals since I was a kid, starting with feeding my neighbor’s 17 koi fish every morning at age 8. I’ve had dogs my whole life, including a Jindo and a Corgi that I raised from six months old. Today, I live with two cats and a puppy (all adopted from Austin shelters), so I’m very familiar with different animal personalities and needs. I recently volunteered with the Austin Animal Center, where I helped care for cats and matched them with adopters. I’m comfortable handling pets that are shy, energetic, or just need a little extra love and attention. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I’m known for being reliable, calm, and detail-oriented. I’ll make sure your home stays secure and that your pets are happy and relaxed while you’re away. I will always treat your pets like my own, with lots of love and safety precautions! I am between jobs so I have all the time in the world to care for your babies. I am flexible based on your schedule. My cats are escape artists so I have become accustomed to making sure the house is always secure. I am always on the lookout for items that my cats may get that could cause them injury. I’m strict about safety in my own home when it comes to my pets, and you can expect the same for your place.

About: My day job at the hospital I work at is to feed my patients, groom them, clean up their poop, take them on walks, etc. I can’t wait to treat your pet with the same level of care :) I have had pets throughout my childhood, and have always taken a very active role in their care. I love animals and I am heartbroken that I am not at a stage in my life where I can commit to my own pet, but I would love nothing more than to spend time with yours. Additionally, while I am new to this app and have not professionally pet sit before, I have pet sit for my neighbors and friends countless times throughout my life. I work 3 12 hour shift a week where I will not be able to care for a pet. However, since I can work any three days of the week, I can care for one pet with no work commitments for as long as 4 days. My schedule varies, but please reach out and I would be happy to plan something. I'm mostly just doing this because I want to hang out with animals and without committing to getting my own pet, as I will be starting grad school next year and will not have time to care for a pet once that happens. In other words, if I'm caring for your pet it's not because this is a job for me. It's because I really want to hang out with your pet I have every intention of spending all my time and effort on them.

“Kody walked our dog Mac for several months. He was reliable and very responsive through texting and was always on top of his schedule for when he could/couldn’t walk our dog. Kody is the exact type of person you want to have taking care of your furry loved one!”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up in a house full of dogs—pit bulls, pugs, and all kinds of lovable mutts. My family fostered dogs regularly, so I’ve been around a wide variety of breeds, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. That experience taught me how to read dog body language, handle different behaviors, and help dogs feel safe and cared for in new environments. I now have a pit bull of my own who’s sweet, goofy, and full of personality. I’m confident handling strong breeds and love connecting with every type of dog. Whether your pup is high-energy or more laid-back, I’ll make sure they get the care and attention they deserve. I’m a strength and conditioning coach with a flexible schedule, so I can often accommodate early mornings, midday walks, and evening drop-ins. My work is mostly part-time, and I build my schedule week by week, which allows me to prioritize pet care. Reach out with your preferred times—I’m happy to work with you to make it fit! When caring for your dog in your home, I make safety and routine my top priorities. I’ll follow your instructions closely when it comes to feeding, potty breaks, walks, and any house rules—whether that’s keeping your pup off the furniture or giving them treats after a walk. I’m experienced with dogs who are shy, excitable, or strong-willed, and I always approach with patience and kindness. If your dog needs medications or has special care instructions, I’ll handle those with care and consistency. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you feel at ease while you’re away.

“Nicole went above and beyond to take care of my pup Georgia while I was away on vacation! From brushing her to bringing her new toys to keep her occupied she really exceeded expectations. Can't recommend her enough!”

“We loved Mariia taking care of our pets for the week. She fed our cat and walked the dog twice a day- was always on time, clearly communicated, and was always friendly and professional. I would trust her in my home anytime.”

About: I’ve been honored to call a tabby cat named Gata and a pit bull named Louie my best friends in this lifetime. I know how much your fur babies mean to you because I know how much mine mean to me and I will do everything I can to ensure their safety, comfort, and happiness! I am experienced with other animal reactive pets and understand how these special buddies require patience, love, and understanding. Rest assured that as a social worker, I have endless patience and compassion to give to your fur babies. I look forward to becoming your pet’s newest best friend! I work full time and my schedule changes a bit but I can usually accommodate walks/drop ins before 9am and after 7pm. Afternoon walks/drop ins can be accommodated, we'll just need to discuss the best time for them. Because my schedule is a bit more unique, I'm big on communication and am open to discuss in advance any scheduling preferences. I am only offering drop in and walking services at the moment so I can give your pups and kitties some direct love, play, and attention in the comfort of their own home and environment.

About: Animal care is what I love to do! I graduated from UVM in 2022 with a degree in animal science and now work as a veterinary technician and pet sitter. Before my role as a vet tech, I had experience as a kennel technician and a veterinary assistant, working with both dogs and cats. I make sure all pets under my care receive timely feedings, medication, and exercise. Just as my own dog, Tommy, is entitled to my love and attention, your pet will receive that very same level of affection. For house sitting dogs during weekdays, I like to stay within a nearby radius so that I can let them out on my long lunches. While caring for your pet in your home, I will carefully follow your instructions to ensure that they feel safe and loved while you are away. Depending on your pet’s preferences, I am happy to give them long walks, trips to the nearby park, cuddles, or playtime. Cats welcome too of course!

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life- with experience ranging from puppies to older animals 16+. I also have experience with birds! I am comfortable with administering daily medication and post surgical care as well. I have a flexible daily schedule for any pet care needs that arise during the week or on the weekend. Available for short visits, walks, or play care in my home. Would also be comfortable taking care of your pet in their own environment. I have two private fenced yards available that are shaded by large trees, mowed zoysia grass, and a large and clean play area that is turfed. Pets are welcome both inside and outside throughout the day. I am able to let pets out for potty breaks and walks in their own home throughout the day as well.

About: I have more than two decades of experience taking care of my own cats and dogs. Additionally I have been a pet sitter for several of my friends, relatives, and neighbors over the years. I'm available most mornings between 8:30 and 11 and most evenings between 8 and 10. There will usually be one or two days a week when I'm available all day. I do not currently care for clients' pets in my home because I have pets of my own. When caring for pets in clients' home, I like to ask the clients about their rules and routines and follow those.

About: One dog or a few. Cats, let’s go! I’m here to help out and be your left-hand when life pulls you away. I’ll always send you an update after our meets, so you feel confident and secure in my service. I'm currently working part-time and have plenty of time to care for your pet. Right now I am open to all times/days and homestays if needed. I am very active and love to travel, so I understand the need for a secure sitter you can feel confident about. I am a dog mom myself, and he only deserves the best - just like yours does. Whether you need someone to care for your energetic pup or watch over your farm for a long weekend - I’m your person!

About: Grew up with dogs and is always the designated person to take care of friends and families dogs! I care for them like my own! I work a full-time remote job and since I travel a lot and cannot have my own pets, I enjoy spending time with other people’s furry animals! I make sure to keep the pets in my sight at all times and they have my full attention. They are my number one priority.

About: I have had pets throughout my entire life and absolutely love animals. Have had multiple large dogs & cats of my own. Friends rely on me to watch their pets while they’re away. I can also help with your plants if needed as well 🤗 I currently work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule so I am available for home sitting throughout the week, weekends. Can walk your dogs anytime. In my care, your dog or cat will be treated like family. I maintain a peaceful environment. I will follow their unique routines—from feeding schedules to bedtime rituals—and always make time for play, cuddles, and quiet moments. Whether your pet prefers sofa snuggles or sunny window perches, I observe their cues and provide responsive care. I keep pet parents updated with photos, notes, and observations so they can feel connected every step of the way.

Collin E.
“I can’t recommend Collin enough! Not only is he passionate about caring for animals, but he’s also incredibly patient and understanding of their needs. My cat is pretty grumpy, and he’s wary around new people. He gets anxious easily, so I tend to not bring him around others for extended periods of time. I recently experienced long-term power outage from a hailstorm, and I let Collin watch the cat while I figured things out. I was pleasantly surprised to see how fond my cat became with Collin! It’s clear that Collin does a fantastic job in bonding with any pet he watches, and my cat has since always been happy to see him!”

Thank you for being my go to cat sitter, Sara! Zuko and Lila love you!”
North Loop dog parents share their Rover experiences
My Priya is a nervous elder who requires a patient soul! Melissa came for an initial greeting and then came to visit Priya twice this week. Melissa has such patience as Priya warms up and takes her out on her time. This gives me such relief as I need to be in office more, knowing there is gentle, patient support nearby!

Wow - Joey was sincerely the greatest. His meet and greet was very comforting, and we face a lot of information. He made careful note of it all and then sent a summary message to me in river as we got closer to the trip if all the things I had discussed. We were then continuously at ease about pers as the days away went on. I love the rover app showing the walk distance and time spent. The videos he sent were really fun to watch, and he always gave a digestible but detailed report after each visit, again being careful to mention many of my notes throughout reassuring me that all was being handled. It was our first time to leave the dogs home alone and I am very happy with the exceptional care Joey took of my pets. We are new clients for sure.
