“Devinder has helped us a couple of times while we were on vacation. He is reliable and I feel that my doggies are well care for while I am away.”

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats since I was a kid. I have alot of experience with pet sitting within my neighborhood and family friends. I am a full time elementary education major at VCU, I am looking for a part time opportunity to make extra money. I am free in the mornings from 6-8am, 12:30-3pm, and 7pm to 9pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. Then for Wednesdays and Thursdays I am from from 6am-7am and from 3pm to 9pm as I am in the public schools. I am willing to open my availability on Fridays as well. I am willing and ready to step in wherever you need me. I have a lot of experience with dogs specifically but I am also pretty familiar with cats.
“Emily is seriously the best! She comes and walks my dog Kona multiple times a week and he absolutely loves her. He looks forward to her coming and I feel so safe and happy knowing she’s going to visit him while I’m at work. I couldn’t ask for a better human to help take care of my baby bear ♥️.”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and currently have two dogs and a cat of my own. My family has had dogs of many breeds and sizes over the years—from labs to bullies to chihuahuas—so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and temperaments. In high school, I provided pet care for several families, and I bring that same calm, attentive approach to every visit. I’m dependable and take scheduling seriously, and I have flexibility with my job, which allows me to be consistent and reliable. My goal is to provide thoughtful, steady care that helps your pets feel comfortable and gives you peace of mind while you’re away. I offer dog walking and drop-in visits and focus on keeping routines consistent. Having had sitters care for my own pets, I know how meaningful regular updates and photos can be, and I’m always happy to share them. Safety is especially important to me, particularly on walks—I’m attentive, aware of surroundings, and careful to follow any guidelines you have.
“Rachel was fantastic in taking care of my fur baby Nappa. He can be overly excited and pull when he walks but Rachel loved him like her own. Thank you so much for loving my boy and keeping my mind at ease while my family and I were away.”

“I have an anxious rescue (Sir Kitt) and Kirby has been absolutely wonderful with her! When we started, Kitt had to be coaxed to walk. She was so scared of everyone. Recently, Kitt has come out of her chill spot when she hears Kirby come in! Kirby is wonderful with her and we will be booking again.”

“Alyssa was a great find on Rover. She lives within walking distance and has developed such great rapport with my pets. Please consider Alyssa for your pets needs!”

About: I've taken care of my dog as well as neighbors and family friends for over 16 years. I have fostered pets in the past and have a love for dogs of all breeds and sizes. I currently work part time in the evenings and early mornings. I am available during the day most weekdays, and some weekends. Ideal time for me would be mornings and mid day. Not currently open to in home care. I live in an apartment complex with lots of walking area, but no dedicated fenced in dog area.
“Adora is absolute wonderful with my baby girl. She came through in a pinch for me, put me at ease about the care my dog-child was in, loved on her and got her some sunshine while I was stuck at work. Thank you, Adora!”

“I am travel nurse and it can be hard to find consistent, reliable dog walking and Kayley was exactly that. She was so available and never had any issues. She is communicative and take care of your dog like they they are her own. My dog loved her. I would absolutely recommend Kayley.”
About: We have taken care of all kinds of animals for years and are currently the happy owners of a rescue dog named Finn. My wife and I rescued him in 2021 when he was 8 weeks old. My wife has owned, rescued, and ridden horses for most of her life and has some vet level experience with animals. We will be home the week of Spring Break 3/28-4/5 My wife and I are both teachers, so we are home early each day. Our weekday afternoons are free with a ton of flexibility. We both have all school breaks/holidays as well as the summer off so we can devote all day to your fur babies! We are free almost every weekend! We will be home all day during the week starting in the summer. We are able to tag team and constantly have someone with your beloved pet at all times of the day. During the school year, we are out of the house from around 7:00-2:00 on weekdays. We have plenty of space in our house, it’s a small house but has an empty bedroom, and also a big fenced in backyard! We put up a brand new 6 foot privacy fence so your pups will feel safe when having fun in the sun!
“Kudos to Keith! I highly recommend him. I have an older special needs dog who still has some pep in his step and loves going for walks. I can't always get out with my pooch, but luckily Keith has stepped in to help on a regular basis. Keith has a good understanding of my dog's needs. During walks he keeps me posted with photos or a video. Upon return, he shares helpful observations about my dog's behavior. It is a comfort to know that my dog is in such capable hands!”

About: Animal lover and Cat owner I work a typical 8-5, Monday-Friday job so I would do best with families whose pets are used to this schedule. Caring and loving towards all pets and homes. Will play with, feed, and walk (or pet sit) your pets. Multiple pets are not a problem. Can stay over night with your pets! Pay can be negotiated and/or discussed on a case to case basis depending on if this is a regular job or one time thing. Accepting reoccurring clients and new clients I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies! I work full-time as a staffing coordinator which gives me a typical 8-5 schedule. If you are close enough to my job, I will use an hour break to check on your pets. If not, I will usually leave between 4:30-5. I do best with families whose pets are used to this schedule. I don’t take any animals out without a leash, I play with them, give them space if they want it, and always make sure they’re getting the attention and love they need
“Nevaeh walks my dogs once a day and it is such a retro know that she is there for them while I am at work. She is an absolute sweetheart and even my more stand offish dogs loves her. Could not recommend met more!”

“I have been meaning to do this for a while, but Julia is AMAZING! She has helped my husband and I so much by walking our pup every week- and I completely trust her in my home and with my fur baby. She is flexible with our schedule, and with the training we are going through with our dog. She’s very good at communication. I cannot say enough nice things about her! :)”

Emily was amazing. Sh was able to make time to meet with me for the meet and greet around my busy schedule. She is easy to communicate with, very responsive, and my dog seemed to really love his walks with her. He was always nice and tired after walks and loved that she shared multiple photos of their outings.

Amanda went above and beyond! When I needed to set up a walk for Thanksgiving day on short notice, she arranged a time to come and meet me and my dog ahead of time and asked great questions. She was communicative, showed up on time, and gave my dog extra care, love, and attention after her walk. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Thank you so much!

We've used Rover a few times previously and Bridgette was the best yet! She was so quick to respond and very flexible with our schedule (even being last minute). Our pup can be a bit vocal and hard to warm up to strangers but he loved Bridgette from the get go and she kept up with his active lifestyle! 11/10 will be reaching out again

I couldn't be happier with the care my pets babies receive from our wonderful sitter. She is incredibly reliable, always showing up when expected and following through on every request with attention and dedication. What truly sets her apart is the genuine love and compassion she shows for my pets—they adore her, and I can see they feel safe and happy in her care. She consistently goes above and beyond, doing everything I ask with great care and responsibility. She's also flexible, which has been a lifesaver more than once when my schedule changed unexpectedly. Most importantly, I trust her completely—both with my beloved pets and in my home. I’m truly grateful to have found someone so trustworthy and caring, and I look forward to a long relationship with her. Highly recommend!
