About: I grew up in a multi-cat household and now own 5 cats between my parents and myself! There's no kitty I can't handle - from super social, to shy, to very sassy, I'm known to be able to form a bond with every cat that comes into my care. I'm also a lover of all animals, I owned fish and lizards and have spent a lot of time helping walk and take care of my family's dogs. My animals are my life, and I've been on Rover for almost four years now! I also have a lot of experience working for Happy Cats Concierge LLC in Reston, VA, where I provided a range of services for cats of various quantities, ages, and personalities. About: Hi, I'm Emily! I've been drawn to animals of all kinds since I was a kid! I grew up taking care of both cats and dogs, and have had a dog of my own since 2021. I'm well-versed in animal care; in addition to the basics (walks, feeding, play), I'm familiar with many common needs, like medication administration, training/behavioral reinforcement, and gland expression. I have a flexible schedule and typically respond to requests within a few hours. I'm able to spend a lot of my time at home; usually when I'm out of the apartment, it's for no more than about four hours or so at a time. My standard schedule is to provide three walks a day (morning, midday, evening) plus a quick potty break before bedtime, but I can adjust that up or down depending on your dog's needs. Dogs staying with me can expect lots of pets, cuddles, and playtime. I do allow pets on my furniture and bed, but if that's a behavior you're trying to limit, I can take that into account while your pet is staying here. At all times, and especially when outside, the safety of your pet is paramount to me. During walks, I actively monitor for dangerous situations/behaviors, like encounters with unfamiliar dogs or trying to eat things they shouldn't. Please feel free to share anything about your pet that I should take into account while they're in my care.

About: I’ve been a cat mama since our family cat chose me as his favorite nap spot the day I came home from the hospital! I raised my next bestie from the day she was born until she crossed the rainbow bridge, and I’ve loved my Fiona for nearly 14 years. I have plenty of experience with cats of all ages, including administering medication, accommodating quirky needs, and navigating sassy attitudes! I also grew up with a family dog and helped care for him while living at home and during college breaks. That included feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. I bring patience and attention to each pet’s personality and routine, and I’m happy to learn all the little details that help yours feel comfortable and loved. I currently work freelance and have a very flexible schedule so my days are built around what bookings I have in a given week. About: I am very available in the summertime (I am a teacher), and I am available on day on Saturdays and Sundays. During the week, I am able to travel to your pet in the morning and evening (before and after work). On weekends and on school breaks I am very flexible. I currently am a teacher, so I am available morning and evening on weekdays, and I am available all day on weekends. I am also available all the time in the summer. I am very willing to come take care of your pets at your house. About: I’ve grown and been trusted with pets ever since I was born. My family runs a wildlife rehab, so I’ve witnessed aggression first-hand. Currently unemployed, so pet care would be prioritized in my daily/weekly routine. I have a cat of my own, so I care for him too. When at the client’s home, I usually do the must now tasks first, then I take the time to give the fur baby enrichment and play with them, teach them a trick if possible, and make sure they feel loved while their owner is temporarily away.

My five years in a private animal hospital equipped me with medical handling skills, from administering medications to supporting animals with special needs. Whether it’s a trail-savvy horse, an energetic pup, or a shy cat, I make every animal feel safe, understood, and loved. As a full time employee, I am available on a weekday and weekend basis, with the ability to check in before my shift (930 AM), on lunch (flexible), and/or after (6pm). Weekend availability is flexible depending on prior commitments. I operate with caution and will not take risks when caring for your pet. I will navigate their space as instructed and prioritize their comfort and safety first and foremost.
