“My first experience with Rover and I could not have chosen a better pet sitter! My cat is normally very shy around unfamiliar people- she took to Chynna instantly. The pictures of Luna instantly put me at ease. I will definitely rebook with her next time!!”

“Even on short notice Jeffrey is best!!! Cuddles and snacks galore, I’m not even sure they notice I’m missing!! Great communication and always so dependable!!”

“Erin was such a reliable and attentive cat sitter! I was relieved to see her details and specifics of the boys behavior with drop in visit notes. It helped me know my boys were in great hands. Thank you again Erin!!!!”

“Rachel took great care of my dog! She asked great questions during the meet and greet and followed my directions well. She gave my dog lots of love and attention ❤️”

“John(Jack) has been awesome to our pup, Pickle. We work out of town a few days a week and he is always prompt and knows how to keep Pickle happy and worn out! Pickle’s mood has improved drastically since he’s been doing his checkins with her. Cannot recommend him enough!”

“Danyelle is AMAZING!!! Took such great care of my boys over a holiday. Gave me daily updates and even put up with some of their eating "quirks", which isn't always easy. But she was super patient with them and gave them all the love they needed while I was gone. I was so super happy and relaxed to know they were in such great and caring hands. Heck, even just the trek to my trash can for litter box cleaning was an extra effort in and it's self. Can't recommend Danyelle enough!”

“Thanks so much! Kirby was on time and so great with the puppy! Such a relief knowing that our puppy is getting such great attention from someone we can trust!”

“Linsey is the BEST pet sitter and all around person. Our normally shy cats warmed up to her immediately and she took excellent care of them, which allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying. We will definitely be booking with her again and cannot recommend her highly enough. 🌟”

“Holland was great! My cat seemed happy us usual when I got back from my trip, and Holland was great about sending me pictures and videos. She came when she said she would and she sent me videos of how she played with him to assure he was getting his energy out! I would definitely recommend her to anyone and will definitely look to use her again!”

“Kayley is wonderful. She is great with our senior pit bull and his various medications. She is communicative, friendly, and I would highly recommend her. We will definitely be scheduling with her again!”

“Emily helped us out of a bind with a last-minute weekend away. She took great care of our 7-month-old and provided plenty of updates to put us at ease. Will definitely book again!”

“Kacey was so great with Rosie! She made sure she had everything she needed and took lots of photos for us. Definitely recommend her for all your pets!”

About: I’ve been a dog owner my whole life and currently have two dogs of my own so I know firsthand what dogs need to thrive. To me, a great walk isn’t one-size-fits-all. Whether your pup loves to stop and sniff every inch of the sidewalk, needs a fast-paced run to burn energy, or thrives on enrichment and mental stimulation, I follow their lead and make it count. Your dog’s happiness and comfort are always the priority, and you can trust that they’ll be treated like family because that’s exactly how I treat my own. I work from home full-time, so I’m available for your dog throughout the entire day, not just mornings and evenings. No rushing between walks or squeezing pets into a lunch break. Your dog gets my real, present attention whenever they need it. Your dog will be treated like family because that’s the standard in my home. I have two dogs of my own, so your pup will never feel alone or out of place. I’m attentive to each dog’s comfort level and body language, and I make sure every interaction feels safe and positive. Your dog’s wellbeing is never an afterthought.
“Alyssa was a great pet sitter! She took care of my indoor cat for two weeks. She met him beforehand and he warmed up to her quickly. She listened to and followed all instructions. Alyssa was also very easy to work with and responsive to messages. She shared great pictures of him daily, which we really appreciated. She played with him, brushed him, and feed him (and cleaned up one spit up). She clearly has a great connection to pets and I highly recommend her.”

“Alyssa was great with my cat, who experiences separation anxiety. She did a wonderful job and sent me pics of my kitty getting skritches. I appreciate her care.”

About: I am a musician, property manager, & ex-software dev who enjoys taking care of animals. One of my favorite experiences was caring for a small farm (dogs, cats, horses, and chickens!) in Kentucky. I love taking dogs on walks around town & to explore the river! I am committed to consistent and clear communication; I place a high value on the professional relationship between house-sitter and host. I love sending daily updates as requested. I don't work during the day, so I can accommodate feedings, med delivery, walks, and playtime all day long! I try to structure my day around the client's schedule, so that the animals don't experience a disruption in their normal routine. I love doing overnight sits for pets in the environment they are most comfortable in — their own home. I find it easy to adapt to a pet’s schedule and routine and I love exploring new places around town via walks!
“Elizabeth is fantastic! Clio requires special care, and Elizabeth was super communicative and comprehensive in our upfront prep, and was great during her drop-in visit to make sure everything went smoothly for Clio. She was attentive to our fur baby's needs, and Clio seemed to have a great time hanging with her! We will definitely be working with Elizabeth again!”

North Highland Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Abby is a top-tier petsitter! She watched Coconut while I was away, and from the moment I left, I had complete peace of mind. She was incredibly conscientious and thorough — you can tell she genuinely cares about the animals in her care. Her consistent and detailed communication with each visit eased my mind. Without fail, she checked in twice a day with photos and detailed recaps of each visit. Seeing Coconut happy and well cared for made my time away so much more enjoyable. She went above and beyond in every way. I will absolutely be hiring Abby again and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and loving petsitter. Coconut was happy and lucky to have her! 🐱

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Theresa. A friend recommended her to me, and she watched my cat over a long weekend. Right from the initial meet-and-greet, I knew she was the perfect fit, she immediately got down on the floor to meet my cat on her level, which meant so much. While we were gone, her attention to cleanliness and detail was great. She cleaned the water bowls and soft food dishes daily and handled the litter box exactly as instructed. I absolutely loved the tons of photo updates she sent, you could see how safe and comfortable my cat felt around her. On top of everything, she was incredibly accommodating with a last-minute request. I am so grateful for her care and will definitely be booking her again!

Per usual, Kelly's the absolute best at handling our cantankerous old man cat. I'd even go as far as saying she's growing on him, which no one has achieved before in his 15 years on this planet. Either way, we love Kelly even if Mowgli doesn't (because he hates everything).

John(Jack) has been awesome to our pup, Pickle. We work out of town a few days a week and he is always prompt and knows how to keep Pickle happy and worn out! Pickle’s mood has improved drastically since he’s been doing his checkins with her. Cannot recommend him enough!
