“We had so much peace of mind knowing our cats were being cared for by Elise while we were gone! At the first meet and greet, our cats took to her right away, which doesn’t always happen with meeting new people. She was so attentive and patient with them, I think they could sense right away she was a sweet person and a new friend. We plan to book Elise again if she will have us and availability works out, I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and caring sitter!”

“Aimee was amazing. We were a bit hesitant, as we've never used Rover before, but she was so welcoming and helpful. She came on-time, every time, and cared for our dog. We will definitely use her again!”

About: My family has pampered and spoiled our yellow Labrador for 15 years of walks, runs, fetch, cuddles, and treats. We’ve cared for him from his crazy puppy years to his gentle old soul. I’m a whole-hearted dog lover and care for other dogs like they’re my own. I have been a Rover dog walker/sitter for over five years now, and have loved each and every dog! I have a flexible work-from-home schedule! I am a graphic designer, so I often work independently with a light meeting schedule. I can accommodate one walk during the work days, and any other walks needed in the evenings. While walking dogs, I make sure to walk them safely distanced from traffic and passing cars. I am always respectful of my client’s homes and neighborhoods, and make sure to clean up after their pups!
“Dove was so happy when I got back home thanks to Tiffanie’s care. I was very pleased with her attention to care with my kitty and she left my place better than when I had left it. I really appreciate the affordability of her rates as well.”

“We needed someone on short notice and Alexandria responded immediately. She was friendly, easy to communicate with, and made the process stress-free. She was great with our 8-month-old rescue, Poppy, who’s still adjusting and can be reactive on leash. Alexandria was patient and understanding, handling Poppy thoughtfully. We loved the photos and report card after each visit and would definitely book Alexandria again—Poppy would be happy to see her too!”

About: Hi, I’m Megan! I’m a full-time remote Digital Marketing Specialist with an active lifestyle and a passion for pets. I’ve been walking dogs and caring for pets since 2021, with experience handling dogs of all sizes and ages. I grew up with a family dog (black lab) and am now a proud pet aunt to a corgi named Betty, a golden doodle named Archie, and a black cat named Vivi. While I don’t have pets of my own, I love every opportunity to care for yours through Rover. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I create an stress-free, fun environment where they feel comfortable and loved. Feel free to reach out anytime — I’m a quick responder and can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! Since I’m fully remote, my schedule is pretty flexible depending on my meetings. I’ll make sure to keep my calendar updated so you can easily book the times that work for you and your pet. I am not allowed pets in my apartment but can go to the fur baby’s home to watch and care for them! I am located in Courthouse.
“Colleen was amazing! She played with Nala everyday and sent a bunch of pictures with updates on everything she did. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!”

“Melissa is fantastic! We recently adopted our sweet cat Harper, and this was our first time being away from her for an extended period of time. She put us at absolute ease and went above and beyond in her care! Highly recommend her services!”

“Charlie again dropped in on my cat at the same time as boarding my dog and was a lifesaver! I have a very difficult cat and he always approaches the situation with compassion, humor, and even some creative thinking 😁 it’s really hard to find a sitter like this for Scotty and we’re lucky to have him.”

“Heather was easy to communicate with, punctual, and very loving towards our animals. Will certainly be using her as a sitter again and would highly recommend!”
“Olivia was so great with my doggy! She was absolutely wonderful! Great communication from start to finish and so attentive with my baby boy. I felt completely at ease knowing my pup was in such caring hands. Daily updates and photos were a great touch. Highly recommend and will definitely book again!”

“Olga has been great with my cat! She’s responsive, careful, and really makes me feel at ease while I’m away. My cat usually takes time to get used to new people, but she quickly trusted Olga and enjoys her company now. Thank you so much!”

“Drew was great with my “quirky” dogs while I was out of town. She took great care of them. She was on time, provided photos, kept me informed, etc. I would definitely use Drew again in the future.”

“Catherine did a wonderful job with my cat Ripples. She was very responsive and diligent, pleasant to deal with, and got my very shy cat to open up as the days went by. Would use her again, and definitely recommend her.”

That’s why I provide frequent updates and pictures to my clients so that they can go about their workdays or trips without anxiety. I specialize in cats, dogs and birds. I can’t wait to meet your pet! I am currently freelancing part-time, which provides me with an extremely flexible schedule to care for your pets! From walks to drop-ins to overnight stays, I can provide a variety of services to DMV pet owners When in your home whether for a drop-by or overnight stay, I am committed to making your pet feel as comfortable and happy as possible in the absence of their person/people. I follow my clients’ instructions and specifics of their pets’ routines, and follow them closely. I also provide lots of love and cuddles (or love from afar for pets that don’t like to be touched!)

North Highland pet parents share their Rover experiences
Charlie was great with our cats and reliable. It made it easy to enjoy our vacation for two weeks knowing our cats were well taken care of and cared for. Also appreciated the detailed updates with photos that made us feel even more at ease! Great sitter and highly recommend!

Carrie was awesome - very thorough and great about communication. She was a new sitter for my pet and that can be a challenge. She asked all the right questions and she was very respectful of developing a relationship with my cat. All of this is a good sign of an experienced sitter. Everything is peace of mind - and Carrie understands that.
Gabriela took wonderful care of my 2 kitties while I was on vacation. She is responsive, punctual, attentive to needs and solution driven. We encountered a couple issues with the key fob dispenser not working properly and with the cats knocking over a large plant. She notified me and resolved both issues quickly which was a huge relief. Nobody wants to be dealing with or stressed out with issues from a distance and during a short time-off. I trust her with my cats and will definitely be booking her again. Highly recommend her services.

Maggie was an excellent sitter. She took wonderful care of Toosie, spending quality time playing with him, giving him plenty of affection, and making sure he received lots of attention. She also maintained great communication throughout the entire time. I highly recommend Maggie and would gladly book her again.

My partner and I recently went on a trip and unexpectedly needed last-minute care for our pup, Brandy. Aaron truly came to the rescue. Right away, he suggested doing a meet-and-greet first to make sure it would be a great fit for everyone, which immediately made us feel comfortable and reassured. Brandy quickly became great friends with both Aaron and his sweet pup, Zorro. It was clear from the start that Aaron is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable in more than just basic pet care. He genuinely takes the time to understand each dog and works closely with them to provide the best care possible. As a fellow pet caregiver myself, I can honestly say I felt completely comfortable and secure leaving my baby in Aaron’s care. He is patient, attentive, trustworthy, and clearly passionate about what he does. We are so grateful for his help and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a truly caring and dependable pet caregiver.

To say Sarah has been the best pet sitter we’ve ever had would be an understatement. She’s a true pet lover and it shows in everything she says and does. We have two very shy / anxious cats including one who usually spends any time we’re away under the bed. Sarah has been the only person other than ourselves who’s been able to see / feed / pet her. She’s prompt, professional and sends tons of photos / updates. She’s honestly ruined any future pet sitters if she were to ever not be available. Highest recommendation.

This was the second time Tasneem watched my two cats. I appreciated her sending thorough updates and lots of pictures. She fed my cats, checked their water, gave them treats and medicine, played with them, and cleaned their litter. They seemed very happy with Tasneem and I felt confident she could look after them while I was away.
