At the first meet and greet, our cats took to her right away, which doesn’t always happen with meeting new people. She was so attentive and patient with them, I think they could sense right away she was a sweet person and a new friend. We plan to book Elise again if she will have us and availability works out, I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and caring sitter!”

About: I have been walking/caring for dogs and cats in my own home as long as I can remember and started taking care of other people's pets back in high school! Before deciding on human medicine, I wanted to be a veterinarian for the longest time and just love animals! My day-to-day is super variable and flexible, and I can adjust my study schedule to your needs! Additionally, I am comfortable with last-minute scheduling. I live in an apartment with my one cat currently, so coming to your home is more likely to be convenient for us both! I do not have my own vehicle but am an avid user of public transport and my own two feet!

About: Hi, I'm Emma! I grew up with animals my whole life! From cats, to dogs, to hamsters, to fish, to horses, I've cared for and loved them all! I spent the past two years in Beijing, China and just moved back to Arlington, VA. I worked on Rover in 2019 and then took a break for grad school and to care for my own dog, Funny Bunny. Now I am in Arlington for a few months and looking to take care of some pups in my free time! I would love to be a part of your dog's life! Growing up, I had three dogs, one cat, and a few horses of my own. I love all four-legged friends dearly and have lots of love to give. I officially started dog/house-sitting about 7 years ago, but have been working with animals for about 12 years now. The longest I have dog-sat for is 20 days, while the family was on a trip to Europe. While you're away, I will strive to keep both you and your pet(s) at ease. I'll do everything I can to ensure their safety, comfort, and happiness. Whatever your furry-family-member needs, I will be there! I’m currently working part time in Arlington and get home around 2pm. This gives me plenty of time to give your dogs attention and care! I live in a small one bedroom dog friendly apartment. I can easily care for your dog and make sure they get plenty of exercise.
