About: I have taken care of pets of my own since I was very little and started pet sitting for neighbors around the age of 10. Most recently I have taken care of my neighbor's cat and dog multipul times over the past 3 years. I am working part time and am on summer break. I am willing to check in on animals or walk them whenever needed and I only work 3 1/2 hour shifts. The dogs I have are a bit spoiled and well loved. I will love what ever animal I watch and will take care of it however you would prefer.

About: I’ve had several animals of my own, I have dog and cat sat for several people/ families. This included giving medications to injured dogs and puppies. I also work in a dog grooming salon and have hands on experience bathing and grooming dogs of all ages and sizes. I have also fostered a puppy from the humane society and cared for dogs in heat. I am a stay at home mom with a great support system. Pet care would be a hobby and side job of mine that I would thoroughly enjoy. I have a fenced backyard and an animal free home, so no risk of discomfort between animals. I have great respect for other people’s homes and make it a priority to follow specific instructions for the safety and comfort of everyone involved.

“Rachel, thanks for taking care of Paco since November. We appreciate all your patience and willingness to help out when we needed you. Good luck with the move to Washington!”

About: I've worked in the pet industry for a total of 7 years. I am highly educated in pet nutrition and care from the past 5 years, and in college worked for 2 years in pet boarding. I also help to adopt out foster kittens and played an active part in their care. I've had animals all my life and spent a portion of my time in high school caring for a cat with diabetes. I am familiar with both dog and cat care. I recently moved to Tacoma from Austin, TX and currently have a completely open schedule! I can work with your needs to find a schedule that works for you. I am happy to fulfill any nutritional needs of your pet including feeding a raw or supplement filled diet. I also am happy to help them play/exercise as needed.

About: Hi there! :) I’m passionate about taking care of animals and always make sure they feel comfortable when they’re with me. I've helped raise a labradoodle and terrier for over five years. I’ve been around dogs and puppies most of my life so I’m completely comfortable with them, large or small. I’ve also taken care of dogs with bigger personalities and also much more tame ones. I’m extremely patient around any dog and always go out of my way to make them feel comfortable. I work full-time and am mostly remote. My schedule is also very flexible. I finish work on the weekdays at 4pm, and my WFH schedule allows me to watch your furry pal during/after my shift. I know that it can be tough to leave your pup overnight or under someone else’s care so I always communicate with my clients updates or photos of their pups. My biggest priority is also to make sure your pup is comfortable with me. They’re welcome to relax on my couch or bed if they’re staying at my home. I’m available anytime before or during a booking for any questions you may have!

“Meg walks our pup Charlie regularly and we are so glad we found her! You can tell she genuinely cares for him. I look forward to her cute updates :) We will continue to use her - she’s truly wonderful!”

“Timothy and Debbie are a real treasure. They have been able to respond to requests on short notice, and always give our Westies a fine walk. Good to have walkers we can depend on.”

About: I grew up with both Cats and Dogs and have experience as a pet owner as I have 2 cats of my own. I also have a lot of experience as a sitter/boarder and professional dog walking! I’m comfortable administering medicine and dealing with aging pets needs. I have some experience with puppies and kittens as well. I have equal experience with cats and dogs and love them both! House Sitting, Dog Walking, and Drop-Ins: I have experience with house sitting and drop-ins so no need to worry. I am very trustworthy and dependable! I’m good at following directions. I’ve seen it all :) I know a lot of beautiful walking routes in the area. I took a break from rover for a while, but I’ve continued to pet sit and dog walk the entire time just not on here. I can provide more references if needed. I have two cats that are comfortable around dogs for boarding. Let me know if you have any questions. I’m a student so I have plenty of time during the summer months. Sitting and drop ins work fine with my own cats schedules as I have roommates they love to hangout with while I’m gone. I drop by to feed them dinner and they snack on dry food in the mornings. My schedule is flexible and open! I listen to owners as they know their pet best. Willing to follow even the most hyper specific directions to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe.

About: Grew up with animals my entire life, and started sitting for friends and family at an early age. Experience with animals of all ages and temperaments - and have additional training from the local Humane Society where I volunteer - in animal behavior and body language. Also, some exposure to Zoom Room clicker and positive reinforcement training techniques. I’m currently working minimal hours on my own business, and have one pet at home, so there is quite a bit of flexibility in my schedule at this time. And I will happily communicate to find a good routine that works for all. I am currently available most days during the week, and some weekends and will publish any changes in availability as far in advance as possible. Due to the pet in my home, I currently offer services in the convenience of your home as well as dog walking and outings. I care for all animals as if they are my own, ensuring clean healthy spaces, plenty of fresh water and appropriate food, enrichment, playtime, and balanced exercise. Couch potatoes and energizer bunnies welcome!

About: I have taken care of many kinds of animals - sheep, pigs, bunnies - but by far my favorite is dogs. Right now I am mom to a beautiful four-year-old corgi, leaving me time to take care of your dog, too. I live in the heart of the North End and know all the best places to walk dogs, from parks to neighborhoods to your block. I am retired after owning and running a restaurant for 20 years. My (human) kids are big enough that they don't need constant attention. My routine is very flexible! I review instructions carefully with client. Can crate your dog if needed. Slow-paced exercise or vigorous workout? Your choice. Behavior that should be reinforced? Just tell me.

“Birdie had a great time. Emily played and played with my 5 month old golden on my first work event during Covid since I’ve had her. Sad to leave the pup but know she was in great hands.”

I’ve seen how attentive she is to details like dietary needs, medical routines, and even enrichment activities. She’s great at reading animal body language and never pushes them beyond their comfort zone.
