About: With over 20 years of experience caring for dogs and cats, I bring a lifetime of knowledge to every pet I meet. I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals, and I’ve spent the last 10 years raising my own energetic Australian Shepherd, Arrow, who loves long walks and staying active. I understand the unique needs of each pet and treat them like family—because they are! I am taking a break from traditional corporate work so my schedule is fairly flexible outside of occasional travel. I am interested in caring for pets that live in the West Seattle area. Safety is my top priority, so I’m happy to follow your instructions and my common sense to keep your pet happy and healthy. “Karen was AWESOME!!! Our Bitty is very shy around new people, but quickly warmed up to Karen. Karen sent commentary and pictures every time she visited (2 drop in visits/day). She brought in packages and our trash/compost bins, and even watered our newly planted backyard plants without us asking. Our cat is an indoor/out door cat and Karen took her on many outings with harness and leash and put her Rx drops in her ears. EXCELLENT cat sitter! Thank you so much!!!!!”

About: I’ve helped take care of family pets since I was 4 and have continued now with my own. Neighbors and friends have trusted me with feeding, walking and looking after their pets. I’ve had senior pups that needed a little extra care and medication, as well as puppies who need that little bit of extra attention. I love all dogs of any age and size.
