“Darnelle was amazing!! I had to leave for the weekend urgently and Darnelle kindly agreed to walk him at the last minute. She was always on point, and was patient with directions to enter the building. She went above and beyond to make sure my dog Benji was comfortable and walked him for ample time on both days! Even though my dog isn’t very friendly with new people, he warmed up to her quickly and went on walks without any hassle. Would definitely recommend her for all your doggy care needs! Will travel." Show me your high-speed Internet and I'll show you a flexible and dedicated on-site sitter for your canine or feline cutie-pies. I'll walk your dogs, play with your cats, water your plants, put out your trash bins, bring in the mail, add chlorine to your hot tub, and move your car every 72 hours -- just tell me what you need in order to feel totally at ease while you're away! When out and about, I routinely ask other dog-walkers for permission or an invitation before letting your pups introduce themselves. I am highly conscious of door and fence/gate hygiene, either at your home or at the dog park. And while at that dog park or on those walks, I strive to never mix leashed dogs with unleashed dogs, so as to minimize any power imbalances. At mealtime, I monitor a chubby pooch with a slow metabolism to make sure he doesn't partake of his slim & trim buddy's leftovers. I appreciate and adhere to the routines you've established for your pet. I like to build trust and reinforce cooperation & good behavior by asking dogs for a "shake" or "sit" or "down" before rewarding them with a treat.

About: I've been caring for animals since I was a kid-so much so that I have a childhood diary entry about winning over a neighbor's grumpy cat while pet sitting. She wasn't friendly with most people, but by the end of the week, she curled up on me and fell asleep. I feel comfortable walking large, high energy dogs and can also provide training to ensure your dog does not lose progress while you're away. I currently work four days a week with a consistent schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility for morning, evening, and weekend pet care. On my days off, I'm available all days for walks, drop-ins, or house sitting. I'm great at communicating and always make sure your pet's routine fits smoothly into my day. I understand that routine is important for many pets and want to ensure they get the attention, playtime, and care they deserve! When I care for pets in a client's home, I treat both the pet and space with respect and care. I stick closely to your pet's routine to keep them comfortable and provide a loving presence.
