“Megan is the dog walker we’ve been looking for. She’s extremely professional, communicative, and reliable with us humans. And for our dog Montana, she’s even better! Megan goes above and beyond to not only exercise Montana (who comes home pooped) but also train her. The pictures and videos that Megan sends of Montana on her walks / training sessions are fantastic. I’d recommend Megan to anyone looking for the best canine-caretaker in Grand Rapids!”

About: I’ve had a dog growing up my whole life, I’ve never been bit by a dog or have ever had a negative experience with a dog. I understand that while it is a major part of your family it is still an animal no matter what. I’m not going treat it like a fur baby cuddle toy. They will be loved and cared for. My word. Not working right now, would love to help out during the day and during the week. I am more than happy to accommodate certain times and dates for an agreed amount. My studio apartment is small, I live on a first floor apartment with only one set of stairs to the exit. Also an elevator to the base floor is available without requiring need for steps if necessary.

“Hallie walked my dog Tuck every day for a week, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided! She was always on time, incredibly attentive, and really thorough in making sure Tuck got the attention and exercise he needed. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Hallie clearly loves what she does, and it shows. I will definitely be using her again in the future and have already started recommending her to friends. Highly recommend!”

“Lizzie has been a great help walking our little cavapoo. She is very punctual, responsive, and caring. She left a detailed report from her walk with our dog along with some very cute pictures. We will definitely be using her in the future for all our dog walking needs.”

“Gaby is awesome all around and attentive to my dog, Emmy’s, specific needs and personality. She is a very clear and prompt communicator, and goes the extra mile for your dog!”

“Kevin walks our dog a three times a week. Clyde can be a challenging dog to walk (bulldog!). Kevin stays patient with him and sends positive reports & pics each time he’s with him. Kevin is great to work with! We feel lucky to have met him!”

About: I seem to be a magnet for anxious dogs and cats! Both my senior cat and adolescent dog have behavioral issues/anxiety, and while it has its challenges, I find bonding with these guys can be the most rewarding experience. Between slow, gentle movements, not rushing a bond, and having lots of treats on hand, I've learned that "difficult" personalities don't always have to be so hard. I work 8-5 on weekdays, with Mondays and Fridays being working-from-home days. I can easily incorporate lunch-time and evening visits into my schedule during the week with open availability on weekends. After adopting an anxious/reactive dog, my partner and I have invested countless hours into a training program that works for us. Through this experience, I've learned the power of positive reinforcement, consent for touch, and patience even when it's the most difficult to find it. I'm a huge believer in redirecting unwanted behavior rather than punishment of any kind. Love and respect is the driving force behind all of my interactions with animals!

About: Welcome to Riverside Park! My husband, Nick, and I have both been caring for animals since we were children. As educators, we have the flexibility to meet your pet's needs on your schedule. Whether your pet needs daily check it's, walks, or a place to stay while you're away, we are ready to accommodate! At our home, we have a small yard perfect for potty breaks and tug-o-war. We are also minutes away from the stunning Riverside Park, where our 2-year-old collie/shepherd mix, Fela (female, spayed), loves to get tuckered out on our daily walks. We can't wait to meet you and your pet! Let's find a time to see if it would be a good fit :) We are off for the summer, so we are able to work around your schedule! We are available for daily walks, feeding, check-ins, and boarding. Pick up and drop off available for a small fee. Please let us know ahead of time a little bit about your pet, including any special needs, so we can be prepared to care for them. We want both you and your pet to feel safe and comfortable! We want to respect your space and your pet's needs. For check-ins and walks, if your dog prefers not to have company, our dog Fela does not need to accompany us. However, it is still a good idea to arrange an initial meeting between us, you, and your pet to make sure everyone is comfortable. For boarding, please arrange a time for us and our dogs get introduce to one another to ensure our house is a good fit. You are welcome to come see our home to make sure it is safe for your furry friend, and/or we are happy to meet at the park first if that is more comfortable.

About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by a variety of animals, from chickens to horses, which sparked my love for animals at an early age. In high school, I became a Certified Veterinary Assistant, completing 400 hours of hands-on shadowing experience with veterinarians. While I no longer work professionally with animals, I’ve spent the last 10 years caring for my cat, who sadly passed away in February from an intestinal lipoma. This personal experience has deepened my understanding of the bond we share with our pets and the care they require. I’m passionate about providing the same level of love and attention to every pet I care for. I currently live and work in the Grand Rapids area and serve clients within a 6-mile radius between my home and workplace. For house sitting bookings: My services include overnight care, meaning I’ll stay in your home in the evenings through the next morning, providing your pets with company, meals, potty breaks, and lots of love. I may also be able to stop by once during the day (between 11am-2pm) for a check-in, depending on my schedule. If your pet needs mid-day walks or more daytime companionship, I recommend booking an additional drop-in visit or messaging me about a custom plan. This helps me ensure your pet gets the care they need while I manage my full-time job schedule. I understand the importance of trust, reliability, and keeping pets (and homes!) in good hands. I’ll always communicate clearly, send updates at your preferred frequency, and treat your pets like they’re my own. As a former pet owner, I understand how important it is to maintain structure, routine, and enrichment for your pets while you're away. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for friends and family’s pets and homes, providing peace of mind knowing that their animals are in safe, trusted hands. I always ensure that pets have their regular meals, exercise, and playtime, and I love finding ways to enrich their environment—whether it’s offering new toys, interactive activities, or even sticking to a favorite daily walk. In addition to caring for your pets, I also take great care in looking after your home. Whether it’s collecting mail, watering plants, or keeping everything secure, I treat your home with the same respect as my own. I know that trust and safety are crucial, so you can feel confident that your pets and home are being cared for in a way that aligns with your routine and expectations. My goal is to provide a smooth, stress-free experience for both you and your pets.

My apartment is on a low traffic street & has a large yard with plenty of room to run.I will provide toys, treats & blankets.

“Our dog loves Breanna! She’s incredibly reliable and professional. She’s been walking our dog for over a year now and has boarded her while we were away. I can’t recommend her enough!”

About: I have always been an animal lover. Animals of many kinds (dogs, cats, chickens, fish and other creatures) have been in my house the whole time I was growing up. Family, friends and neighbors have trusted me to walk and feed their animals while they are on vacation or away at work. I started pet sitting seriously approximately two years ago and have had multiple week long pet sitting jobs for both dogs and cats. I thoroughly enjoy being a pet owner and pet sitting and would love the opportunity to pet sit for more animals! I am a part time worker on weekends only, Saturday and Sunday, so I have plenty of time to take care of your animals throughout the week while you are away at work or on a trip. I am available to pet sit and house sit in your own home at your best convenience. I will visit your pet as frequently as you would like and will be available to hangout, walk and play with your animals while you are away.

“Kassidi took our dog on a walk and provided excellent, friendly service. She was very prompt and attentive throughout the visit. Her communication is also great and she made sure to ask all the questions to ensure our pup was well taken care of. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again.”

About: I’ve lived with pets since I was born so I have been taking care of dogs and cats for awhile! I have also been dog sitting for other families for the past two years. I am attending college this year but I am living at home so I am still around! My classes are spread out so I am available to help out! I have experience caring for other people’s pets. Kinsey took great care of my puppy. She communicated well and provided high quality photos. She was on time and walked my puppy for the full amount. She took a few moments to greet my puppy to make sure he was comfortable with her before walking. Thank you Kinsey!

Katie has done a few walks with my old lady, and I've seldom seen Niela happier. She was just so relaxed and so happy. After a stressful move, I was worried Niela would be stressed by a new person but just the opposite. I'm very grateful for Katie and see many repeat walks in the future.

Amazing!!! He genuinely cared about my dog’s well being & sent pics with constant communication. I had Binx stay at Whiskers resort & hired Joshua for daily walks which helped him tremendously, even whiskers said it helped my high energy, nervous boy. Thanx again for taking Binx to a beautiful park & not just a sidewalk AND for picking up that xtra day
