Jacob starts off with a meet and greet to make sure your pet meshes well with his dogs and I think he did a great job slowly introducing each of his dogs to Thor. Jacob watched Thor over the Fourth of July and although Thor doesn’t mind fireworks he mentioned that they do have thunder vests in case Thor got anxious. Jacob sent pictures throughout the stay and was easy to communicate with. We will definitely be rebooking!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, currently have a rescue that is a Cur/Dalmatian mix. I fostered a German Shepherd and just found him his forever home! My previous pup was a pure bred red-nose pit! I work from home so am available for all needs! And yes, my dog does sleep on my bed! Lots of outdoor toys to tire them out! I have a fenced in yard and a “puppy pool” for those hot days! About: We take extra time to make sure they have exercise, love, play, safety, and fun. We treat your dog as if he's one of our own. Someone is always home to care for our pets. I’m away only 10-15 hours per week. I’m very flexible and willing to work with you for the love and benefit of your pet. I live in my new built home. About: We have been with dogs and other animals our whole life and love dogs. Our Shiba Inu, Sami, is our fourth baby. Your pet will get the attention and safety he/she needs and will be treated no different than our own. Our work hours are flexible and we prioritize our walks with our pet so it will be the same as others. Sami gets 2 walks and 3-4 bathroom breaks per day usually at least 1 of them is off leash at a dog park. We are not a dog boarder, your dog will be in a home and will know the difference. We treat your dog with the same care as ours and will follow your instructions as instructed. Typically, bathroom break between 3-4 hours and at least 3 times per day for each dog. WE REQUIRE ALL CLIENTS TO PROVIDE PROOF OF RABIES AND DHAP.
About: I used to operate a rescue and shelter outside of Atlanta. I have experience with all types of animals in all types of conditions. Familiar with special needs, dietary restrictions, after surgery care, blind animals and more. I have always been an animal lover and I currently have 3 dogs I would like to make pet care my full time job. I currently do some side work in the construction field but would really enjoy spending all my time with the pets if possible I have a fenced in yard and two fully separated areas of the house and garage that open into the yard that can accommodate any animals who aren’t comfortable around other pets. About: I’ve always had animals of my own, basically since I was old enough to walk. I started my own pet-sitting business when I was 13. I’m the go-to for friends and family when they need their babies cared for and I love every breed. I studied veterinary medicine for a number of years and have more recently begun to train dogs, as well. I work full-time but I make my own schedule. I also live just a few minutes away from my work and can pop back to my house when need be. I’m already taking care of our senior dog, our new puppy, and our two cats. About: I work remotely, which means I’m home a lot and able to give pets real attention throughout the day, not just quick check-ins between errands. I’ve been a dog owner since 2009, and while my two dogs sadly passed away a few years back, that long experience really shaped how I understand routines, personalities, and all the little quirks that make each pet unique. I usually keep things crate-free so dogs can relax and feel at home; they’re welcome to lounge on the couch, their bed, my bed, or wherever they choose, and I want them to feel like they’re just hanging out in their second home. If your pup is crate-trained or prefers a crate routine though, I’m totally happy to stick with that too. I focus on keeping pets comfortable and sticking closely to their normal routine, whether that’s walks, playtime, meals, or just hanging out and keeping them company. I’m pretty used to everything from energetic zoomies to picky eating to strong opinions about walk routes, so I try to meet each pet where they are and make them feel at home. I also keep pet parents updated with regular photos and messages so you’re never wondering how things are going, and can relax knowing your pet is being well cared for (and probably a little spoiled). Working from home gives me a lot of flexibility to fit pet care naturally into the day; walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout. Most pets are rarely left alone for long periods, which can be especially helpful for dogs that get anxious or just like having company. Overall, I try to keep things steady and predictable for pets, since they tend to do best with routine; regular walks, meals, playtime, and companionship built into the day so they feel comfortable and cared for. I offer flexible pet care in both my home and the client’s home, depending on what works best for each pet and their routine. In my home, pets are treated like part of the day-to-day household in a calm, pet-friendly environment where they can relax, play, and settle in comfortably, with consistent routines for feeding, walks, rest, attention, and plenty of time for play and companionship so they feel at ease and not bored. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping everything as familiar and stress-free as possible by sticking closely to their normal routine and following any specific instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and anything else that helps them feel secure, while also making sure they get plenty of one-on-one attention so they still feel cared for while you’re away. If I’m house sitting, I also help keep things running smoothly by bringing in mail, watering plants, and making sure everything stays secure, and I always provide regular updates with messages and photos so you know how things are going. Since I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, I’m able to accommodate midday check-ins, overnight stays, and longer care periods, and I’m also pretty adaptable if anything changes last minute. My goal is simply to make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for the whole time.

About: I've had one or more dogs in my life since I was 6 years old. I currently have a senior red heeler that I rescued 8 years ago. Not only have I grown up taking care of my own dogs, as an adult I dog sit quite regularly for friends. I do work from home, which affords me the opportunity to take breaks to interact with and toilet my heeler and any other dog we have visiting, on their schedules. I work from home, so Monday thru Friday, I rarely leave my home, except to take the dog for walks. I may go away in the evenings, during the week, for a couple hours, but that's rare. I do tend to be more active on the weekends, doing my grocery shopping and running other errands, as well church on Sundays, and an occasional brunch. I do have a fenced in back yard as well as a senior red heeler (as stated earlier). My heeler doesn't really pay much attention to other dogs, and seems to prefer the company of humans. That being said, he gets along great with other dogs.

About: At a young age, I began to understand and care for our pets and those of friends and family members. I’ve learned how to be patient, kind, and active in order to provide the best care for dogs of various ages and sizes. Living in an apartment now post college, I’ve quickly realized how much I miss the joy and love a dog can bring. I would be incredibly honored to care and provide the most love to your furry family members! I do have a hybrid work schedule but it does come with flexibility to work around any at home requirements. I’ll typically be out of town Monday through Thursday, and have Friday through Sunday available at home. If given enough advance notice, I can manage my schedule to fit around your pets schedule. My work events can change weekly, so planning ahead of time is essential. When I’m not on the road, I work from home and have the ability to care for pets around the clock. My apartment complex is pet friendly, and there are many dogs that live throughout the building. There is an open grass area where many of them do their business, but I do prefer to walk around the block to give your dog more to sniff and space to choose where they’d like to “go”. There are also many local parks that I enjoy going to for little adventures! Since I will likely be working from home while caring for your pet, I will be able to provide 24 hour care and understand their needs throughout the day. Over the weekends, this will also be provided, as I typically stay home and go out around the area locally only.

About: Over the past four years, I have house-sat a multitude of times for all types of animals; birds, dogs, and even cats. I make sure that they get lots of love and playtime when I'm with them and any other requests by the owners. I have administered medicine to pets while I have house sat so there would be no worries while you are away! I have experience with foster dogs as well and volunteer at Animal Rescue Project. I am a college student so I have a very flexible schedule! With my classes, there is plenty of time for me to spend time with your furry friends and give them all the love they deserve while you are gone! I also love to take pictures to send when you're away because everyone needs to see their fur baby while they are away. About: I have dog sat for all sizes of dogs and even ones with special needs (blind and deaf). I love and care for them all! I get off early in the afternoon most days so can spend time playing with or walking your dogs, whatever is preferred or expected to be done! We have a fenced in dog park that I can take any dog to, there are no breed restrictions and I have a second bedroom if the dogs prefers their own space (can have a queen bed to themselves).

He's even moved some of my packages inside my door when he picked up Gideòn for his walk. He has made what would be a nervous experience for both parties into something enjoyable. Gideòn seems invigorated by their walks. I was hoping Michael's walks would make Gideòn tired but it has seemed to have the opposite effect. About: I’ve had dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I love dogs so much that I volunteer at our local shelters. Recently moved back to the NE side of GR. Available weekends too! About: I have had dogs my entire life, and always contributed to their care and look forward to having one of my own. I have a Sphynx cat named Olive who is my baby. I also have a pet ornate box turtle named Tammy and I treat both as my children, so I have experience caring for reptiles. I also have experience caring for rodents for the past two years. I have watched many of my neighbors dogs before while out of town, as well as my friends cats. I have 2 years of experience of being one of the only people doing Rover in Marquette MI, and had at least one dog staying with me every day for that time on top of doing house visit, so I have lots and lots of Rover experience! (Most of my repeat clients moved to off Rover arrangements) I am currently a medical student in Grand Rapids so my hours are a little limited now, and I can no longer board as I live in an apartment. However, I’m off for the summer and would love to watch/walk some fur babies! I’m currently on summer break from medical school, so I have availability pretty much every week day. However, I have a lot of weekend trips planned, so my weekend dates are limited. I will say I do prefer to sleep at my own house, but for house sitting can do as many drop in visits as needed and can stay for long periods of time. I am able to take the animals on long walks or hikes if that is desired, am available for around the clock care, and have experience with reptiles, rodents, cats, and dogs. I have lots of experience hosting dogs at my home. Now, I can adapt to any animals needs and follow any plans or routines you give me!

“Jacob was wonderful and easy to work with and our dog loved his stay! Jacob starts off with a meet and greet to make sure your pet meshes well with his dogs and I think he did a great job slowly introducing each of his dogs to Thor. Jacob watched Thor over the Fourth of July and although Thor doesn’t mind fireworks he mentioned that they do have thunder vests in case Thor got anxious. Jacob sent pictures throughout the stay and was easy to communicate with. We will definitely be rebooking!”
