About: I have done petsitting (cats and dogs) for over 15 years. Usually for animals where I personally know the owners and have spent time with the animal to create a bond/relationship. I want to full disclose with new perspective pets parents: I have a full time, in-office job with the standard business hours, Monday through Friday. If that's not what you are looking for in a house sitter, I understand. If I had a pet of my own, I would ensure all their needs are met. As a petsitter, I would to ensure their animal's life doesn't change or I could make it better in some small way especially since their parent(s) is gone I stay at the animal's home to care for them so their life isn't different than what it usually is for them. Changing their environment can be quite shocking and stressful to them. I try not change their lifestyle too much while the parent is gone
About: My full-time job is currently working at a boarding/daycare resort. I have worked with variety of dogs and cats. Whether they be older, younger, anxious or just a little crazy. I adore my job and I’m just looking to find some extra money on my off hours and days. I also have two animals myself! My lovely kitty Lady, and my longhaired white dachshund Mandy 🫶. I have given a variety of medications from injections, pills, supplements, ear eye and mouth drops, etc. I have zero issues administering medications. I have worked with two separate boarding/daycare facilities in the Madison area and surrounding areas. I am mostly available in the afternoons/late afternoons. I generally have two days off per week. With one weekend day off almost always. I would love to meet you and your family! I often have two full days off a week, however they are not on set days. I will update my availability as often as possible to help us both plan for care accordingly. I also leave work by 4:15pm at the latest. I will often have early and late afternoon into nighttime availability. I do not offer boarding in my own home currently due to my living situation. I’m a firm believer that animals are much more calm in their own environment. From working in boarding as long as I have, boarding outside of their own home can cause issues with eating, with digestion, with behavior, etc. It’s the least stressful to put a dog in their own space.
About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals. Spending time with pets is truly one of my favorite things, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique personality, whether that means playing with an energetic dog, giving extra attention to a cuddly cat, or providing gentle companionship to a senior pet. I believe pets thrive when they feel loved, comfortable, and understood, so I focus on building trust and creating a positive experience for them while you're away. Being around animals brings me so much joy, and I take pride in making sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for. I am currently a nursing student at UW Madison and have time throughout both the week and weekend to spend time with your pet! Typically earlier or later in the day is best for me but I am able to be flexible. I care for pets by sticking closely to their normal routine so they feel comfortable and at ease — feeding them on schedule, going on walks, playtime, and any specific instructions from their owner. I spend a lot of time giving attention and affection, whether that’s active play for energetic pets or calm companionship for seniors or more relaxed animals. I always try to make them feel safe and cared for while their owner is away. I also send updates so you know how they’re doing and can feel confident they’re in good hands.
About: I have been pet sitting since I was 12 years old. From dogs with never ending energy to grumpy but lovable cats to senior dogs who need some extra care, I’ve seen it all! I’ve cared for most ages and I’m not afraid to get messy. While I’m new to Rover, I have a lot of experience and I’m happy to provide more references. Also, I’m a photographer so I can usually snap some great photos of your babies! I work from home so my schedule is super flexible! I can work daytime visits and walks into my day easily. For stays at your house, your fur baby will get plenty of attention and there will be many opportunities for potty breaks. In your home, I follow your rules. Your pets get lots of love, stick to their schedule and it will be like you never left! I like to keep everyone as close to their normal routines as possible. For overnight stays, I work from home so I can set up my laptop in your home and give lots of attention in between meetings!

About: I have cared for pets of all ages and types for many years, as well as been a pet owner and foster mom for many years. Dogs, cats, rabbits, hampsters, birds, chickens, fish, lizards etc. My family and friends have trusted me to care for, walk, feed, bathe, administer medications and give all the love and snuggles to their animal family members when they are away. I work part time and remote, so I have the flexibility to give all your pets the time, attention and love you need for them. About: I am an aspiring vet student who has 10 plus years of experience with cats and dogs both owning and sitting for. I have medical knowledge that other sitters may not have as I work at an ER for pets as a nurse! I am extremely flexible with my time and availability and will ensure that your pet gets the well-deserved love and care they need! As a bonus, I can offer nail trims, sanitary shaves, and ear cleanings during their stay if requested! I'm currently working part time night-shift, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets! I make my own schedule during the day, so I can easily work around your pet's needs. I have a dog and cat myself at my apartment that are well socialized to be around other dogs. I can accommodate up to two dogs in my apartment if needed and can also go to your home if preferred. For cats, I find it best to go to them. I do not have a yard, but my apartment complex is pet friendly with a play area and lots of walking trails nearby.

About: I’ve worked with dogs for a little over 5 years. I have kennel /daycare experience, and some grooming experience! I am very knowledgeable on dog behaviors and how to understand body language. Taking care of animals doesn’t feel like a job to me, it’s a passion I currently work tues-saturday 6am-2:30pm. I do have my own dog so she comes first of course, after her I am available 3:30 tuesdays- saturdays. Sunday and monday I am free all day!! Unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to take in home care. My dog isn’t the friendliest, but I have no problem venturing off to guests homes!!

Incredible person to watch your pets while you're away. Lacey did such a great job watching our dog and we could tell he was having a great time with her. Lacey brought in our mail and packages (unprompted) and also took the best photos of our dog. We feel very lucky to have someone like Lacey to help us while we are away!
OMG I can’t say enough good things about Hannah. Such a wonderful person that truly loves dogs. She was easy to book with, got back to me quickly when I needed to change times, and overall she was just a joy to get to know. My dogs fell in love with her. Keely has been walking my dog Lola every Wednesday for the past couple of weeks, and I truly could not be happier with the care she's provided. I booked with very little notice, reaching out on a Monday, and Keely came over the very next day to meet Lola, learn our routine, and get to know her needs. From the start, I could tell she was thoughtful, thorough, and genuinely invested in making sure Lola felt comfortable and safe. Lola is a reactive dog, and having someone who understands reactive dogs is incredibly important to me. Keely clearly has that experience and confidence. She pays attention to every detail, thinks ahead, and has approached each walk with care and awareness. I feel completely at ease knowing Lola is in her hands. What has impressed me even more is how thoughtful Keely is about factors beyond just the walk itself. We've had plenty of rainy weather lately, and she's done an amazing job timing walks to avoid the worst of it. She's also been mindful of potential thunderstorms and how Lola might react, which shows just how much she cares about the dogs she works with. Keely has been an absolute pleasure to work with - reliable, communicative, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. I'm so grateful to have found her, and I know Lola is too. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for someone they can trust completely with their dog.
Lora was reliable and really gave extra. She came out before hand to learn the dogs and their routes. I am currently disabled and she was so helpful bringing in packages. She took each dog on extra laps if they failed to do their business the first round. We will not hesitate to call Lora the next time we need someone.
Lindsay is amazing!! She was able to come over and take my golden retriever for a walk and to the dog park. She also has a dog who was able to join in on the fun, which is always great for my dog who loves to play! She’s super kind and easy to work with. I definitely recommend her, and will be booking her again in the future!

Joey is the absolute best -- friendly, reliable, and so good with our 7.5 year old husky-shepherd mix. He was often available on late notice to come walk our dog and always on schedule otherwise. Our dog truly treated him like family. You would be lucky to have Joey take care of your pet!
Jimmy is a great match for our dog Tala! He sees her twice a week and provides her walks, playtime in the yard, and brings his dog so she has a doggy companion to play with. He has been patient and helpful working with Tala despite her having little training as a new rescue dog. We hope to have him as our regular walker for a long time!
