“Alyssa did an amazing job dog-sitting for us! She was very communicative and sent lots of cute update pictures. Our dogs got muddy, and she even asked where she could find a broom to sweep up. I could tell she really cared about our dogs and enjoyed hanging out with them.”

“This was our first overnight visit from Vicky with Abby at our house. We found it a total success, we are very grateful to Vicky for her care of our Abby girl :-) and oversight in all areas. Thank you again.”

“Alison did a great job caring for our high need 12 year old German Shepherd at our house for a weekend. As our shepherd is getting older, her health needs are greatly increasing and we are always nervous when someone new watches her. Alison did a great job of easing those nerves. Alison was sweet and loving to her as she clean up accidents, changed out her diaper, gave her medication. She also did a great job communicating about any issues and providing photo and video updates.”

“Meghan was great with our pups, took great care of the house, and communication was frequent and made us feel so comfortable. With three dogs at home planning travel can feel a little bit overwhelming but now that we have a trusted new friend for the pack future plans seem much easier!”

“Another great stay! My girl does not like people but she loves Aaron-Joshua. No ever gets to pet her but she lets Aaron-Joshua pet her. My two babies are always well taken care of.”

“Sarah must be my dogs’ next-most-favorite human now! She took such good care of everything so that I could get away for a few days without having to worry about them. They all had a great time hanging out and I loved having the pictures and updates. Sarah was flexible and thorough and pleasure to work with.”

“Renae was an excellent pet/house sitter. She was kind, loving and attentive to our pet, while being communicative to us while away. Renae has a great, engaging personality and I would recommend her to anyone on this site.”

“Corette was very pleasant to work with! She’s very communicative and provided many wonderful updates keeping us in the loop! She was very respectful, considerate, kind, and patient with my boy.”

“This was Jennifer’s 2nd time house/pet sitting for me. My 3 furry family members recognized her and instantly wanted her attention. She is very respectful of my home. I’m bummed she’s heading back to college and won’t be available for awhile.”

“Isabelle was very prompt in responding to my communication. She seemed very comfortable around the dogs when she first met them and made me feel confident that they would be taken care of with love and responsibility. She left my home in pristine condition!”

“Kate took great care of my dog, Khloe while I was out of town! She kept me updated the whole time. My house was nice and neat and clean after and she even brought my mail in for me. 10 out of 10 recommend :)”

About: I started volunteering at the animal shelter when I was 10. I have 5 dogs and 8 cats that I have rescued from abusive/neglectful homes, the streets, and from the shelter. I took a vet tech class in high school and a big/small animal class. I’m very good with all kinds and types of animals. I work part time currently, 4 to 5 hours a day Monday-Thursday and I’m off Friday-Sunday. I will definitely be able to care for and engage with your pet when needed. When I go to a new house to dog sit I always lock the doors and make sure to follow all rules I have been given. I stay very aware of my surroundings and the animal.

About: I do have a cat of my own and a bunny and always dog sit my family dog Capone he’s about two and an half years old! And a pitbull mix, I do have references! I can start in August mostly around 3pm until whenever! I’m very flexible with time and dog sitting or cat sitting I can do Mondays-Fridays! I always take care of my cat and bunny in the mornings and always give them my time attention after work and make sure they have fresh water and entertainment and treats!

Rayonna H.
“Ray has been an animal lover her entire life. Ray's brother said it perfectly "If anyone is looking for their kids or their animals and Ray is around, you can guarantee they are following her" She volunteered at the local animal shelter for years. She sat in on surgeries with our local veterinarian as well as with her Aunt who is a veterinarian. She has 5 rescue dogs at her parents and multiple rescue cats, most of which Ray brought in due to needing some sort of medical procedure done. She used to request money for her birthday and donate it to the local animal shelter. She has families in her home town that schedule their vacations around when she is back home so they can have her come to their house and care for their animals. I would trust her over anyone else when it comes to animals and children! Hard to find this kind of genuine kindness towards both but with her it seems to come so natural.”

Normal pet parents share their Rover experiences
Sarah did a great job with my pack of four. She didn’t just let them out, but actually spent time with them, which mattered since a couple of mine are on the anxious/needy side. She sent regular photo updates without me asking and showed love for both the dogs and the cat. When an unexpected issue came up, she handled it calmly and responsibly. Will definitely book again.

Gabby was great, very responsive! Loved that we always heard back quickly, and her responses were always positive and kind. We felt her pricing was fair and appreciated her flexibility when we asked to add overnight visits to our booking! My sister helped check on the dogs when Gabby wasn’t there and they were always happy and seemed great! Nice to have someone snuggling our babies while we were gone!

Alison house sat for our senior and puppy dogs, which can be a tricky combo. She did an amazing job making sure they got lots of love and attention. She makes sure to spend ample time with the dogs. You can tell how large her heart is for animals. She is very reliable and a great communicator throughout the entire process.

Vicky was fantastic! She sent photos and updates about how our dog was doing the whole time. She managed his medication/meal routine with insulin injections, and made sure our boy was healthy and happy while we were gone. We definitely trust her and will be happy to work with her again! :)

Julia was wonderful! Addie is stubborn to walk but she did great with her. Also I got sick so we changed plans last minute but she was flexible and very understanding and accommodating. She went above and beyond - refilling Addie’s food container and cleaning up Macy’s hair ball. Sent me tons of pictures. Cannot recommend her enough.

Jasmine was absolutely brilliant! She is knowledgeable and reliable, and our furbabies adore her! She was equally adept at tending to our 3-month-old puppy as she was our old, grumpy chihuahua. She knows her way around both cats and dogs and was able to offer us training support with our wee one. We will definitely be booking her for future pet sitting needs - even if we're convinced that our pups already love her more than they love us :)
