About: My first pets were 2 rats. I took care of them exclusively, bathed them, fed and cleaned up after them. The family cat Simba was mainly my responsibility with occasional help from family, and I would take care of our family dog Bentley when I was home for summers from college. I've helped care for several other animals when babysitting children, and occasionally dog sat overnight for other families over a 3 day weekend period. I've also loved my time volunteering at the local dog shelter where I walk, clean up after, and play with all the dogs up for adoption until they find their forever families. Also enjoyed a 6 week program at a dog shelter in Athens, Greece in 2024! I’m in town for the next six weeks with open availability! About: I have volunteered at an animal sanctuary where ensure the well-being of different domesticated animals (chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats, dogs, pigs). When there, I have walked Great Pyrenes dogs and looked after a young puppy. I have experience caring for multiple pets and multiple species at a time.
