14. Ami W.

“If you only want the best for your pet, Ami is it. Everything from start to finish with her has been nothing short of outstanding. She is reliable, compassionate, and her energy is so calming. My dog Luna had just been diagnosed with kidney disease, and I was overwhelmed. Ami came over to administer subQ fluids, which have been a struggle for me to do on my own because it was so stressful for my dog. Ami taught me things the vet never mentioned, so that the experience was less stressful for Luna, such as warming the bag of fluids, the position to hold my dog in and how to distract her with treats. She even recommended needles that are thinner, and I was amazed my dog didn’t even react when she poked her! She is also working with me on a specialty diet specifically for CKD which is already helping with her nausea and appetite. I am so relieved to have found Ami - she is an invaluable resource, and true animal whisperer. And our kitties approve too, they absolutely love her! Thanks again Ami!!!”

15. Brandie H.

“Brandie was awesome with my little ones. She was always on time, very communicative, and made sure they had everything they needed every time. Highly recommended!”

16. Hatley W.
“Hatley has been an animal LOVER since she was a child- particularly dogs & horses! She's now an energetic, mature, responsible, level-headed UVA student who loves them even more now! She started by caring for huge horses at age 6- grooming, riding, cleaning & caring for them. At age 9, she welcomed the responsibilities to take care of her family pup, Bodie. Hatley is aware of pet safety & training & has loved, fed, walked, talked, massaged, played, & cared for her own dog as well as the dogs/cats of several neighbors! If you want someone, not only to care for your dog while you're at work, but to love them.... Hatley is the one!”

17. Nicole M.

“This was our first time using Rover, but we were very happy with Nicole. She took care of everything as we requested and even handled a package I forgot was coming while we were gone. We would definitely recommend her and will use her again in the future.”

18. Katherine A.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs to include puppies for over 10 years. I’ve been around dogs most of my life. I consider dogs a part of our families and I care about the dogs I sit and treat them as my own. I am available to board during the week and weekends. I work from home most days and I am available to be here more often. I can easily crate your pup if needed. I have a little Maltese of my own. He loves to play but can also keep separate from your pup.

19. Dana W.

About: My name is Dana Whitcomb and I have a love of playing with and caring for dogs. I have a single family home with approximately 1/3 acre lot. The back yard is large and fenced in for play time. I have grown up with dogs all my life and in my family. I currently have 2 dogs. Witten is 12 yrs old and is a Puggle. Winston is 5 and is a Bichon mix. Witten is mainly an inside dog and loves to just lay around, while Winston is similar but more active when other dogs come to play. Both my dogs are fixed and up to date on shots. I help watch the dogs of my neighbors when they are away on trips, work, and even for play dates. I welcome any breed of dog as long as they are not aggressive as I have children at home. A meet and greet will be required before accepting any booking. Pets must be house-broken and/or crate trained as my dogs sleep in their crates at night. During this time of Covid, I would like to inform all potential clients that my family and I have all been tested and are negative for Covid. Any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you!
