“Kelly is awesome!! She did drop on visits with my 2 dogs. They warmed up to her quickly!! One of the dogs can be a bit aggressive with strangers but after the first meeting he was calmed down and during the visits he was happy and loved playing with his toys with Kelly. I can tell that she really cares for the dogs. I would highly recommend her. We plan to use Kelly the future pet care!”

“Samantha did a great job. She was on time, played with the girls and ensured they were happy while we were gone. We got good photos and she kept us up to date on them. We really appreciate what she did and her willingness to come to the house and let the girls out for us. Great job Samantha!”

It was fantastic getting updates every drop in with how he was doing and pictures. I would recommend her whole heartedly for anyone with nervous or medically complex animals. I can’t stress enough how wonderful she was for our dog and us.”

“Hannah was lovely - she dropped in on my dog within the windows/times I asked for, she followed my instructions, and gave my dog the attention he needed while respecting my home. Also was very nice to write little recaps in the report cards with cute photos of my dog. Would hire her again :)”

“Danielle was great! Our pups instantly connected with her and were more well behaved for her then they are for us 😅 Truly appreciate her for helping us out last minute and the pups look forward to their next walk with her.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 18. I have worked at several dog daycares; bathing, walking, playing, and nurturing dogs. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me through-out my years. I absolutely adore dogs, it's my passion. Weekends. Fully available, pet sitter options as well. Please feel free to text me about schedule options. I am more than happy to work with you. I have dogs that I feed every day, take on walks, play and sit with them. Sometimes we watch movies and cuddle. Depending on the service determines how many outings and personalizing to that pet and their needs.
“Having a 19 year old cat, we did not want to leave her with just anyone while we were anyway. Daniel was willing to come by for a meet and greet to make sure he was a good match. He was excellent to work with for set up and came by on schedule and spent time feeding and providing company in our absence. Daniel provided pictures for each visit which was comforting. If you are looking for someone who is dependable and friendly with your pet, he is your person.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
