I have a big goofy lab of my own who is my world so I understand the hesitance of entrusting strangers to take care of your furry family members. I take pride in treating other people’s pets as I would my own, while also respecting boundaries & rules put in place by you as their owners. About: I have had cats ever since I was little and have also worked in a cat rehoming and adoption center! I also love dogs and am comfortable walking them and tending to their needs. I’m a teacher on summer break so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets and give them all the attention and care they need! I am not able to board dogs where I currently live (due to my lease) but I can travel to you and give all the services needed! I am comfortable traveling to homes as well as boarding kitties.

We have the sweetest pups of our own and they really are the heart of our home. We have been dog-sitting for friends & family for years before we decided to make it a full-time endeavor! We live on a beautiful, fenced in acre in Nokesville which offers a safe haven where all dogs can enjoy endless play and exploration. We understand the love and concern you have for your dogs, and how being apart from them can cause stress and anxiety. Rest assured, we’re here to ease your mind, giving you our word that we will love and care for your pets as if they were our own! We will send lots of videos and pictures and update as much as we can! Let your pup enjoy a fun, playful vacation while you relax on yours! ☀️ We are super flexible with drop-off/pick-up times, we don’t have “set times.” However, there are certain days few and far between that we aren’t able to do early morning drop offs, we ask that in return you are also flexible with us! Austin and I have alternating work schedules, meaning one of us is always home to provide constant care and attention to your pups full time! If we do have to step out of the house for a little bit, we also have thoroughly experienced (and background checked) employees that help us out here and there so your pup never has to be alone! Safety is our number one priority. We are very well versed in dog body language, signals, etc… We make sure that every dog we accept gets along with other dogs and we properly introduce every dog to the others. We allow all of our furry friends to have free rein of the house and roam freely, however we do have comfy crates available for those pups that prefer their own space sometimes! For your dogs safety, we do separate or crate (depending on the dog) all of the dogs during feeding time, if we have to step out of the house (very rarely), and to sleep. We can be very flexible and accommodating if your dog has special needs/requests. The pups are allowed on the furniture at our house, but we are happy to reinforce your rules here if requested. Please let me know if your dog has ANY history of aggression towards other dogs, humans, food aggression, etc.

About: I’ve shared my life with dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, including adopted and rescue animals of different ages, personalities and needs. I have special experience caring for senior and medically fragile pets. I adopted a very elderly, sick dog who required frequent medication and attentive daily care, and I also cared for my cat through medical needs that required consistent medication. I’m currently a devoted dog mom to Graci, a two-year-old Labrador, and a proud grandmom to Zoey, a two-year-old mini Australian Shepherd/Corgi mix. Caring for animals has given me hands-on experience with walks, feeding routines, playtime, medication schedules, close supervision and helping pets feel safe and comfortable. I understand that rescue animals and senior pets may need additional patience, consistency and time to build trust. I will follow your instructions carefully, communicate consistently and provide plenty of photos and updates so you can feel completely comfortable while you’re away. 🐾 Important Booking Policies & Rates 🐾 Please review my standard hours and specialized rates before booking: * Extended Daycare Policy: My standard daycare rate covers up to 10 hours of care. Any daycare stay that exceeds 10 hours will automatically be upgraded to my Boarding Rate for that day. * Puppy Care Fee: Because puppies require extra attention, frequent potty breaks, and constant supervision, a +$15 puppy fee applies per day/visit for any dog under 1 year old. This fee applies to all Daycare, Boarding, and Dog Walking requests. Note: Rover automatically calculates the puppy rate for some services, but if it doesn't apply correctly to your request, I will manually modify the total to reflect these policies before finalizing the booking. Thank you for understanding! “Continuing my professional development” sounds more natural and polished than “pursuing additional courses.” I’m currently taking a professional break while continuing my professional development, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide your pet with attentive, loving care. I’m home much of the day and can easily accommodate feeding, playtime, medication, cuddles, and your pet’s normal routine. Safety and comfort are always my priorities. I have one friendly Labrador who gets along well with other dogs and can be crated or kept separately if needed. My neighborhood is great for safe, leashed walks, and I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions regarding feeding, medication, exercise, and routines.

About: I’ve mostly taken care of small creatures on my lifetime. I used to own parakeets and currently I own a leopard gecko whom I absolutely adore! I always wanted to own cats and/or dogs growing up but I’ve never been allowed to do that because my mom is irrationally afraid of both. I used to own a kitten but we had to give it away because my mom thought she could handle it but she was just too scared of it. I’ve taken care of other people’s cats and dogs before and I get along well with all animals! Since I’m unemployed, I am free anytime other than Saturday and Sunday mornings. Saturday I have classes from 10 am to 12 pm and Sundays I have church from 9 am to 11 am. I unfortunately do not CURRENTLY have anything that is specifically catered to dogs or cats in my house or yard, as I do not own either at the moment. I can certainly do my absolute best to cater to your animal’s needs, however!

About: Throughout my experience caring for animals, I’ve been responsible for a variety of daily pet-care needs, including feeding and providing fresh water, cleaning food and water bowls, maintaining clean living areas, giving pets attention and companionship, and making sure they are safe and comfortable. For cats and dogs, I’m comfortable with playtime, walks, bathroom breaks, litter box cleaning, and keeping them on their normal routines. For smaller pets like hamsters, I can provide food, fresh water, and habitat cleaning. I also have experience caring for fish, including feeding and maintaining a clean environment. About: I have had animals all my life, and quite the variety!!! I am experienced in caring for cats, dogs, rabbits, reptiles, spiders, ferrets, etc! I have some horse experience as well, although I'm a little rusty, however, if you gave me a list I'd be sure to figure it out!
