“Stephanie left really good, detailed feedback from every visit. Which I really appreciated!! I could tell that my pupper was taken care of well while I was out of town and I would be very happy to work with her again in the future!”

“Mary did a wonderful job again! So happy to not have to worry about our kitties while we are away. We really appreciate the updates and photos. Thanks for taking such good care of Oscar and Wilson again!”

“Rachel did an amazing job checking on our cat! Our cat is normally pretty shy around new people but seemed to warm up to Rachel pretty quickly. Rachel also kept us updated and sent pics everyday. Overall, she was great and we will definitely have her take care of our cat again!”
“Lauren has now watched our kitties for the third time, and each time we are so pleased and relieved each time she visits. The short narrative of her visit, along with pictures, let us know KC and Phoenix are in great hands! With each visit, and now multiple bookings, we can see KC is extremely comfortable with Lauren. Unfortunately Phoenix just loves to hide...but they too will one day be friends. We highly recommend Lauren for anyone who needs loving care of their pets.”
“Zach was great! He attended to every detail that we discussed. Our two cats were very happy, I could tell by all of the pictures that he sent. One of our cats is very shy and I told him that he may not see her. I was wrong. He sent us two pictures of her poking her head out and the third picture was her enjoying some pets and scratches. Our other cat had a great time playing and also getting pets and scratches. I’m a happy kitty mom! We will definitely book with Zach again😊”

About: After taking years off during covid and having two kids, I'm now able to return to Rover! I can currently only care for kid friendly pets. I have been caring for dogs and cats for over 25 years. I look forward to helping care for your dog or cat and can help with training for your dog. Though my own dogs have now grown too old, I previously trained and competed in multiple dog sports. I am familiar with reactive dogs and take precautions to make a walk less stressful for reactive pups. If your dog is looking for extended exercise and is good in the car, I can take your pup on a nature hike or to a park. Alternatively, I can provide dogs or cats quick walks, belly rubs or games of fetch/chase. I have flexibility during the week and many weekends. I've been walking dogs and taking care of cats since I was 6 years old and have provided excellent service to friends and family over the years. I look forward to adding your dog or cat to my pack of pets I love! I am able to care for pets during weekdays and weekends. I am flexible with hours! Just let me know what you need for your pet! I care for your pet like my own. For drop-in and dog walks, I'll spend time making them feel comfortable and give treats as allowed. I love playing with and training pups so I can give them a mental workout, too. For boarding dogs, they'll have a fully fenced yard that leads directly to the house.
“Courtney was amazing! This was the first time we have had to leave our dogs with someone other than family, so we were a little nervous since our dogs can be a handful with their anxieties. The first time our dogs met her, they were already comfortable with her. Throughout our vacation she was always in touch with us and sent us pictures. Even though we are back now, the dogs still look excitedly in the morning to see if she is coming, so we will definitely be using Courtney again in the future!”

About: Hi! My name is Meredith and have grown up caring for dog breeds such as German shepherds, labs, corgis, and schnauzers. I am comfortable around any breed! I also have experience caring for indoor & outdoor cats and can follow whatever protocol you need to keep them happy and healthy! I’m currently home for the summer from college and taking an online class while working remotely. I coach volleyball on Monday and Wednesday evenings but I’d still be available for visits before and after! I’m really available at all times as long as we can communicate expectations! I do not offer pet care in my home to protect my pet rabbits who are free-roam. However, in your home, I will follow all protocol you ask me to complete while providing many pets and cuddles and whatever playtime they love! It is important to keep your pet’s brain stimulated, especially when they are anxious because their owner is away!
“I cannot recommend her enough! We worked with Chloe, the younger of the sisters, and she was absolutely a dream come true for us. I have a lot of anxiety, and my dogs are my babies, but after meeting her I knew she was the one to hire. Through the whole trip she kept me updated with photos and videos and funny stories of the dogs. When we got home the dogs were happy and clearly well loved. I couldn't be happier with her service and have already been telling everyone about her. She's an absolute sweetheart and HIGHLY recommend her. We will absolutely hire her again.”

About: I have had dogs my whole life along with reptiles I also worked as a dog bather and take care of my family and friends pets when they go on vacation I am currently in school looking for a part time job I have 3 dogs of my own but would love to meet and play with other pups I have a small fenced yard where my pups go potty but I like to take them to the park to run and take my puppy on walks to keep up his training
“Caitlin did an excellent job taking care of my fur babies while away. She provided thorough care attending to their individual needs and personalities. I highly recommend Caitlin!”

“Pups were well taken care of, they treated Lauren like their good friend when she came by to drop off the house key. And so nice that she watered our potted plants on the front porch and out back on the hottest week on record!”
“Domi was amazing with our fur babies! She showed up on time, everytime. I enjoyed receiving pictures everyday of them playing and having fun! She even brought in my packages on the porch. Both our boys had less anxiety when we got home than they normally do from being in a kennel. Will definitely be using her services in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of many different ages, shapes, and sizes over the past fifteen years. I helped care for my four family dogs and now have a dog of my own that I love with my whole heart! Friends and neighbors have often relied on me for dog walking and dog-sitting. I have experience with dogs from 2 months to 15 years old. I can’t wait to make some new four-legged friends! I am looking to keep busy over the weekend doing something I love, and I would love to spend them caring for or walking your doggos! If I am doing a drop-in visit at your home, I would first ensure that your dog has water, especially during the summer time. I would follow any guidelines you leave regarding walking, outside time, or feeding. I would spend time with your dog, whether it be playing with toys or giving belly rubs.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Warrenton
Lauren did a great job looking after our fur babies on short notice while we were away! My cats are very wary of strangers, but they warmed up to Lauren quickly. I also appreciated the photos and detailed updates on how they were doing during the check-ins. I would highly recommend working with Lauren, and look forward to having her care for our cats during future visits!

My cats took to Mary right away, even before they realized she was there to feed them! She went above and beyond and did additional things, like collecting mail, dragging packages in the garage, without me even asking. Will definitely be using again for our next trip!

Laura was wonderful with our cats and dogs! She was a huge help when we needed someone to drop in on our pets. We received updates and photos for each visit. Laura was also very attentive to our anxious dog’s needs and made sure he felt comfortable. Everyone was happy when we arrived home!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Warrenton. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
