About: Since a young age, I had always been the go to person for my friends, family, and often times neighbors as well for pet-sitting. From care-taking for a friends tortoise for over 8 years, to having a rabbit, birds, dogs, and more myself, leads me to have such a deep rooted passion and interest for care-taking, spending time, and bonding with all ranges of sizes and ages of pets! Any daycare stay that exceeds 10 hours will automatically be upgraded to my Boarding Rate for that day. * Puppy Care Fee: Because puppies require extra attention, frequent potty breaks, and constant supervision, a +$15 puppy fee applies per day/visit for any dog under 1 year old. This fee applies to all Daycare, Boarding, and Dog Walking requests. Note: Rover automatically calculates the puppy rate for some services, but if it doesn't apply correctly to your request, I will manually modify the total to reflect these policies before finalizing the booking. Thank you for understanding! “Continuing my professional development” sounds more natural and polished than “pursuing additional courses.” I’m currently taking a professional break while continuing my professional development, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide your pet with attentive, loving care. I’m home much of the day and can easily accommodate feeding, playtime, medication, cuddles, and your pet’s normal routine. Safety and comfort are always my priorities. I have one friendly Labrador who gets along well with other dogs and can be crated or kept separately if needed. My neighborhood is great for safe, leashed walks, and I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions regarding feeding, medication, exercise, and routines.

My experience has given me a strong understanding of animal behavior, health, safety, and the individual needs of different pets. I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments, including pets who may require extra patience, medication, or specialized care. Working in a veterinary environment has also taught me how to recognize changes in behavior or health and respond appropriately when a pet may not be feeling their best. About: I have taken care of our family cat, Pepper, as well as friend's cats since I was 17. After our beloved Pepper passed last October, I wanted to continue caring for other's kitties to keep honor his memory. I can change and clean litter, brush their fur and teeth, clip their nails (depending on comfortability), play with a variety of toys, and provide cuddles as needed. I'm currently studying part-time, so I have a lot of availability to watch over or come visit your kitties! My best days are Monday - Wednesday after 4pm, as well as weekend mornings from 12pm-3pm. This is flexible and other times can be arranged! I'm a patient person who can wait as long as needed if cats need time to warm up, and I respect their boundaries (no picking up or petting if they don't want it, avoiding no-touch areas, etc). If some kitties adhere to a special routine or have special accommodations, I'm more than happy to follow that.
