About: I started pet sitting at a young age. I've always been around a variety of animals; dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, etc. I've taken care a quite a few elderly animals who've required extra care. Such as; medications, red light therapy, needing to be carried in and out of the home among the many other things that they need. I have a lot of experience with young animals as well. I've had quite a few puppies myself and understand the importance of routine when it comes to the basic training that comes with the territory. I've babysat and house sat many cats and dogs, even a few rodents. I'm new to the area and I have plenty of time on my hands. My weekends are always going to be more available than my weekdays however I'm more than willing to accommodate given enough notice. If you have a protocol and schedule for your animal I am more than happy to follow your request as long as you let me know what your specific needs are. I'm happy to help aid you with any training that you are pursuing with your fur babies while they are in my care. These are your babies and I know how important it is to keep up a routine with animals to help them feel more confident and relaxed while you’re away.

“Have used Alan as a sitter for my pet for several months now, Alan is flexible and amenable. I would recommend Alan’s services to anyone I know”

“Awesome cat sitting, had no issues, good pics would have her watch my cats again!!!”

“Madison took time and care to look after our kitties who are shy around strangers, and was willing to care for them at the last-minute over the holidays. I was glad to see from the photos that they were more comfortable with her presence after a few visits. 🙂”

“Felicia looked after our cat, Clyde while we were out of town and everything was perfect! We came home to a very happy cat! Can't thank her enough for the wonder pics and Check-ins. It put our mind at ease ?”

“Ember was wonderful and we can't say enough good things! Returning from adventures, it usually takes a day or two for our kitties' anxiety levels to calm down, but not this time. Our fur babies were calm upon our return (19days) -a true testament to her care!! They were happy, content, well-adjusted and well cared for!! Ember sent daily updates which put us at ease and sent photos that captured their true essence. She has a quiet sense of humor and her true love for animals shows! We appreciated her genuine care and will have her house sit again in the future. Thank you, Ember!!”

I live close to the mountains so if you want to take the day to hike/explore sperryville I am your go to:) I work from home and love my animals!! I am fortunate to have the flexibility to take care of my farm animals and others when needed. I own a small farm with plenty of space for walking and also have a fenced in garden than I can use during the colder months for secure play for dogs.

“Farrin was the zen to our panic when leaving our two cats for a trip for the first time. She was extremely calm and understanding, especially when concerning our cat with anxiety. She was patient, attentive and provided us with the feedback/support we needed to calm our nerves. Great service!”

About: I've worked as a stable hand for many years and with that came the barn cats and owners dogs. I would dog sit for her sometimes and the cats became part of the routine for the horses. I have dog sit for neighbors and family along with cat sitting. I'm coming home from college and have a free summer. I am available to take care of your fur babies for quite awhile and would greatly enjoy being around them and showing their pictures. Feeding and cleaning after them. Playing with them to dissuade boredom and to show clients pictures. Walks are peaceful for me and if the pet wants a run then some cardio is good for me. House sitting is fine and if some chores are needed while the clients are gone, I don't see a problem.

About: I have had dogs my entire life - big (Doberman, Boxer) and small (Maltese) -snuggly and playful! They are part of the family and love them. I’m currently working part time and would love to take care of your family fur baby while you are at work or away for a much deserved vacation! I can come to your home so there is minimal disruption for your furry one’s daily routine as well as keeping an eye on your home.

About: I am able to handle cats, dogs, reptiles, ferrets, and even chinchillas. I have basic knowledge of medicine administration. I know that animals have boundaries just like humans and I never break them. I am available all day every day. Other than pet sitting I do doordash as a part time job so I have a very flexible schedule. I always make sure to give my pets or clients pets lots of love and attention. Nice long walks and plenty of food of water. Even treats with permission. I like giving animals baths and playing with them.

“Taylor was attentive to my cats, and she easily adapted when I needed to add a couple additional tasks for her daily visits.”

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life. From housetraining puppies to caring for aging senior dogs, I have experience with a range of personalities/quirks and am very comfortable with large or hyperactive dogs and rescues. My older Beagle has a seizure disorder, so I have experience with caring for pups with medical needs and I can administer medication. I also have 5 years of experience volunteering in a high-volume animal shelter, working predominantly with large dogs, so I understand how animals might behave when they are in a stressful environment and interacting with an unfamiliar person. I strive to provide a stress-free, comforting environment while you are away so please let me know what your pup loves the most! What you can expect: — Time outdoors, playing or on leashed walks — Cuddles and belly rubs — Lots of (approved) treats — Every effort to stick to your pet’s routine and establish clear boundaries! *** Please inquire about my housesitting availability. This summer, I will only be accepting clients that will allow me to bring my dog, George, overnight. Will need to do a meet and greet to introduce our pups beforehand. I will never leave my dog alone with yours. I can provide in-home doggy day care and boarding on Fridays and weekends with a prior meet and greet. Your pup will never be left alone when I’m providing doggy day care, but I do require them to be crate-trained for overnight stays. I work full-time during the week but have a very flexible schedule. I can provide long morning walks, drop in visits at lunch and afternoon playtime before lots of attention in the evening. I can board one dog in my home if they are crate-trained and get along with my dog, but a meet and greet is required beforehand. They will not be left alone in my home or left with my pup unattended. I am available for drop-in visits, walks and some housesitting. I am open to long-term, ongoing schedules as well as flexible, on-the-spot drop-ins. I can provide some services in my own home on Fridays and weekends. I am currently available for overnight housesitting through May. I am open to spending as much time as I can with your pup. I enjoy walks, playing outdoors and sticking to their routine as much as possible! I know it can be stressful for pets when their owners are gone so I strive to provide a stress-free experience for your best friend! I will use your standard equipment and follow all directions you provide, especially on walks. I have experience with escape artists and will do everything I can to keep your pup safe. I also am very neat and tidy, will clean up any messes your pet makes and will treat your space with respect.
