“My dogs absolutely love their time with Aunt Leslie. They settle in quickly as if it hasn't been a couple months since the last stay. I enjoyed my time away without any concerns about the pups best they were under Leslie's care and supervision.”

“Jessica truly went above and beyond while taking care of our dog Frank! She provided many updates and pictures and we knew he was in great care! She is amazing with dogs and would absolutely use her again!”

“Once again Cori made me feel really good about leaving my pups in her care. She’s a doll to work with. As if one quirky bull terrier isn’t enough, how about adding a 1 y/o bull terrier and leaving both for 2 weeks? Cori had her hands full but dealt with the issues the young one caused (regression potty training issues, territorial issues, etc). As always, very communicative and understanding about the young one (we figured out that since Pixie was newly rescued, that she must’ve been confused about yet another home she’d been shuffled off to and that was probably the source of the angst). Bodie wasn’t neglected or ignored in this. He may have even gotten to sleep in a human bed… 😂 We don’t have any trips planned any time soon but Cori’s still top of my list (if she’ll have Pixie again!) when I need someone.”

“Whitney was wonderful! She made our pups feel right at home and eased their sitter/ boarding anxiety by taking great care of them and sticking to their routine. She accommodated our last minute booking request and sent updates so our minds were completely at ease while our 2 large rescue dogs were in her care. I highly recommend Whitney to care for your pups!”

“Tamara has taken care of our dog twice now and he always comes home happy! She’s a great sitter and her pick up and drop off service is such a huge help when you’re taking care of so many travel details and tired!”
“Tara was amazing with my dogs! My little dog can be anxious when she is away from me and my big dog can be excitable but she was able to handle both so well! She sent lots of pictures so I knew how my puppies were doing and I could see how well both were adjusting! She took them on outings, let them play outside a lot, and gave them both so much love and cuddles! Honestly could not have asked for a better experience and I would highly recommend her for your puppies!!”

“Jonah stayed with Heather for 10 days and we would use her again without hesitation! We appreciated Heather's excellent communication, diligence in keeping Jonah separated from larger dogs, giving him lots of attention, caring for him in the ways we requested, and sending us a snapshot on occasion while we were on our trip. We're glad to have found Heather!”

“Richard and his family were the perfect fit for our dog, Honey! Honey is a 15 year old, small dog who has recently gone deaf. She struggles with other dogs and I was having a hard time finding someone who would only take one dog at a time. Then I found Richard! Honey felt right at home with them. I loved the picture and video updates each night. She returned home happy, healthy and ready to play. Thank you so much for taking care of our sweet old girl!”

“Another wonderful stay with Maria — Moxie loves getting some outside time in the backyard and Maria does a great job of keeping us informed! She always feels like very trusted hands. Thanks Maria!”

“This was our first time with Jennifer, and it was the best experience! Her dog Charolette has now become my girls best friend. Jennifer was very responsive and sent tons of pictures. She made our trip wonderful because we knew our girls were well cared for!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!”

“This was our first experience with Rover. Chaoran was fantastic. Every step of the way from booking, to stay & pick up was smooth. Our dog had recently had surgery and Chaoran did a great job accommodating the need to keep our dog from jumping or running. She clearly knows & enjoys dogs. I’d highly recommend her.”

“Magda and Chris were amazing. So kind and caring with Mogi. Magda sent me regular check ins that showed how comfortable Mogi was with them. It was great knowing that Mogi was safe and happy during my weekend away.”

“Jaime looked after our dog, Lucky, for a month, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the care he received. Lucky was in great hands—well-fed, exercised, and comfortable the entire time. Jaime made sure to send regular updates and photos, which reassured us that Lucky was in great hands. Lucky fit right in with Jaime's family, getting along great with her two daughters and husband. They were all incredibly welcoming and kind, treating Lucky like he was part of their family. Overall, Jaime did a fantastic job, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dogsitter.”

“This was the first time we left our puppy with a boarder, and Stacie helped us feel so comfortable. She was very communicative, sent daily photos and videos, which really helps the kids deal with missing their dog. Her house is a perfect space for taking care of dogs. Her yard was awesome and our dog (Joy) seemed to be having a great time. Will definitely go with Stacie again the next time we need someone willing to take care of Joy for us.”

“Dear Darnell and family, thank you very much for taking care of Peter. It was a great experience for him to be around new people and dogs. Thanks a lot for the pictures. It was a relief to receive it, because we had no previous experience of boarding our dog.”

“Ariahna was so good with my cats when I went out of town over the holiday! She took extra time to make friends with the shy ones, provide detailed updates and photos, and went above and beyond to deal with a few accidents 🙈 It was such a relief to find such a conscientious, thorough pet sitter and I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Lauren has now watched our kitties for the third time, and each time we are so pleased and relieved each time she visits. The short narrative of her visit, along with pictures, let us know KC and Phoenix are in great hands! With each visit, and now multiple bookings, we can see KC is extremely comfortable with Lauren. Unfortunately Phoenix just loves to hide...but they too will one day be friends. We highly recommend Lauren for anyone who needs loving care of their pets.”
“Very happy with Jessica. She listened to all of our requests and took great care of our 2 little kitties. Showed flexibility when we had to modify our booking. Cats were happy, fed and acting relaxed when we got got from our trip. She always took her time to fill out kitty report card and snapped some great pics! Would recommend 10/10”

“Katie was very attentive, helpful, and took the absolute best care of our cats. She was very accommodating and asked any questions or concerns she may have which we really appreciated. We felt confident that our babies were well taken care of while we were gone. Would definitely recommend booking her.”

“Caitlin was absolutely awesome! My babies don't take well to strangers and usually leave me all sorts of surprises when I get home. Caitlin was so kind to them, she played with them and even got my super shy girl to come out. She took care of everything! Even all the vomits 🤢 sorry about that. I will definitely be rebooking her for my future travels. I highly highly recommend her for your fur babies.”

“This is our third time having Jessica over. She is very conscientious, responsive, prompt and responsible. She works hard to befriend our kitties even though they are not cooperative, and we appreciate that a lot! We feel very safe giving her access to our pets and our home! She is a blessing and we’re very thankful!”

About: I’ve had my own dogs since I was like 5 I learned how to take care of them at a young age.Im pretty good at what I do. I’m currently working part time .I have lots of free time on my hands . Im open to almost any schedule .Just shoot me a text. Caring for pets in my client's home involves a personalized approach tailored to each pet’s specific needs and the services I am providing. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for over 20 years. I started when I lived in Centerville. Grew up around dogs and cats and horses. Will stay at the clients house with the animal. Will do meet and greet and do some time with pet to make sure pet is comfortable with me before the job date. I will talk to you about specific things about your pet you prefer to make sure everything is done your way. I just graduated from nursing school so right now I am looking for a job and doing part time work on the side along side of this. Your dog still gets my attention and needs that are required and then some. I stay in the home if I need to. I feed in one of the animals walked the animals we needed. I play with the animals. About: Hey there, fellow cat parent! 😺 We all dream of that getaway—whether it’s a beach week, family visit, or just some well-deserved “me time”—but the second we think about leaving our cats behind, the guilt kicks in. Taking them along usually isn’t an option, so what’s next? I’ve been there. I’ve dropped my own cats off at those big pet hotels and walked away feeling… off. The staff would scoop them up, plop them in a kennel, and that was it. No extra snuggles, no playtime, no “Hey, how’s my buddy doing?” vibes. It felt like they were just checking a box, not loving on someone’s family member. After one too many of those experiences, I started asking a friend to swing by the house once a day. It was better than the hotel—sort of—but let’s be real: friends mean well, but they don’t always stick to the exact routine, scoop the box the way you like, or give the level of attention your cat craves. That’s exactly why I started this. No more impersonal kennels where your cat just sits and waits. No more crossing your fingers that your friend actually shows up and remembers the wet food. Instead, your cats stay in a cozy, home-like space with someone who genuinely gets it—another total cat-obsessed human who will give them chin scratches, play laser pointer Olympics, talk to them like the little royalty they are, and make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away. You get to travel with peace of mind. They get pampered like the VIPs they are. Win-win. 💕 Ready to give your crew the vacation they deserve (while you enjoy yours)? Let’s chat!

“Rhonda is amazing! Our cats are pretty shy but she was able to get them to come to her, be sociable and eat at feeding time. She notified us of arrival and departure times and sent pictures during her visits. I would highly recommend Rhonda!”

About: I have ample room and time to love on your fur babies!! I currently do not have any dogs but love them all! I also have a basement with a separate gate if your pet needs space by itself. I live close to the mountains so if you want to take the day to hike/explore sperryville I am your go to:) I work from home and love my animals!! I am fortunate to have the flexibility to take care of my farm animals and others when needed. I own a small farm with plenty of space for walking and also have a fenced in garden than I can use during the colder months for secure play for dogs.

“Amber is a wonderful pet sitter. You can feel confident that your pets are well cared for—she recently looked after several cats across two households and managed everything smoothly over the holidays. I’m very grateful for the care and attention she gave my babies and would absolutely book her again.”

“Sunanda was immensely helpful with the care of my cats while we were away. With her great attention to detail and love for animals, I can definitely recommend her services for any pets needs. Definitely will rebook!”

They showed us the area where Parsley would be staying, safe and clean with little white boards for each doggy detailing their needs (they had only one other canine customer at the time that Parsley was there). About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. I'm happy to have your dog(s) make themself at home as well or to crate them if that's your preference.

About: As the daughter of a pet-sitting business owner and veterinary technician, I’ve been caring for animals from an early age. With over 10 years of experience working alongside my mother and in veterinary offices across Northern Virginia, I’ve learned that every pet is unique and deserves individualized care. Before moving back to Northern Virginia in 2023, I also owned a successful pet-sitting business in St. Croix, USVI. My own pets have taught me a lot as well—my pit mix, Bella, survived both a fighting-breed environment and Hurricane Maria, and my two rescue bassets struggled with separation anxiety, as well as our Moluccan cockatoo we raised from a nestling. Those experiences reinforced the importance of patience, empathy, and consistency. I’m a non-smoker, organized, and detail-oriented. I’m also available for last-minute needs and those holiday plans that sometimes run longer than expected. Above all, I take this work seriously and will care for your pet with the same love I give my own. 🐾🖤 Working mainly from home allows me the flexibility to plan my days around feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, loved, and cared for. In my home or a client’s, I follow each pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, play, and rest, while giving them plenty of love and attention to keep them comfortable. We can work on learning new tricks and reinforcing obedience training.

About: I have taken care of neighbors, friends, and family’s pets! I have worked in a boarding facility for 1 year and absolutely love all furry friends! I’m currently working part time, so I have extensive availability to play with your pups! I do have trips but I am generally always in the area! I love to run around and play with any furry friends and am willing to do any tasks you need to make sure they are happy!
About: As a passionate pet lover, I’ve dedicated myself to providing reliable and compassionate care for pets of all ages. I pride myself on my personal, hands-on approach and always treat your pets like family. With 5 dogs of my own, I’ve developed a well-organized routine that ensures all their needs are met. I feed my dogs twice a day, and each one gets plenty of playtime, walks, and potty breaks. Whether it's keeping up with their daily exercise or giving them personal attention, I’m used to managing multiple pets and ensuring they feel happy, healthy, and loved. I bring this same level of care and dedication to every pet I look after. I prioritize the safety and comfort of every pet I care for, whether in my home or yours. My home is pet-friendly and designed to ensure a safe environment for dogs of all sizes. I make sure that all pets are kept in secure areas, especially during feeding times and walks. When caring for pets in your home, I respect your pet's routine, follow any special instructions, and maintain a clean, safe space. About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs on a farm, apartment, townhouse, etc. I have experience with many different personalities, energy levels, and breed needs I currently have two dogs of my own, a great pyrenees and a golden retriever. I’ve also worked at a veterinary clinic as a vet tech, gaining additional experiences with animal care, health needs, and proper handling. I beleive no dog should be judged by their breed or put under a general label. I focus on their body language and individual personalities, while still addressing breed needs. I currently am working 32-40 hours a week that gives me a certain level of flexibility to match your schedule. I receive my schedule every Saturday, two weeks posted at a time. I will give full transparency if there are any schedule conflicts. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet in someone else’s care, they’re your family! My goal is to always make sure both you and your pet few safe, supported, and at ease while you’re away. I do my best to follow your pet’s routing exactly the way you do at home, adjusting to whatever care instructions you prefer. I am also more than happy to provide updates as often as you’d life, whether that’s daily or hourly check-ins, photos, or videos so you can see how your pet is doing. I pay close attention to your pet’s behavior, health, and surroundings, making sure they’re safe and comfortable both inside the home and in outdoor spaces. I keep information on local vets and emergency clinics on my phone. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would my own!
“Perfect! A+. Mary was pleasant to work with. She was prompt and attentive to our two dogs. She provided pictures of the dogs while we were away. So nice!! Thank you Mary for helping us have a family day in NY.”

“I couldn't be happier with the care our pup received with Julie. We got tons of pictures and videos and updates, and I never once worried about how well he was being taken care of. Julie was extremely responsive and always quick to answer any questions I had. We'll absolutely be bringing our pup back!”

“Beth is one of the best. Been using River for years and always seek Beth for day or overnight stays. She communicates clearly and promptly every time. My pup is always excited to get there and reluctant to leave.”
