But she got a chance to run around Stacie’s backyard as much as she wanted to, made friends with the other dog (Stacie allows only two dogs for overnight stay, not counting her own dog who is also very sweet). She can’t talk for herself, but I can tell that she had a lot of fun and enjoyed the stay! - this also can be proven through the pictures Stacie sent me while I was away! About: I have been around dogs my whole life. They truly are a man’s bestfriend. At home I have a beautiful white lab, he is 95lbs of pure love thinking he’s a lapdog. I also have a King Charles Cavalier that is the princess of the house. She is so happy and spunky and keeps us all laughing. Previously I have owned Cocker Spaniels, other Labs and a Maltese. I started dogsitting when I was 11 years old. I had just arrived at my grandparents house and I saw this little dog wandering around and he ran right to me and I saw the owner walking towards me up the road. The puppy let me pick him up and we walked all the way to the owner. He and his wife were pilots so whenever they were flying I was working and I was ecstatic to have my first job looking after their two dogs. Through the years I’ve done Bathing, walks, feeding, medications, shots , vet trips, etc. I truly love dogs and seeing them happy, and giving their families peace of mind that their beloved pups will be well loved while they are gone. I send texts and pictures of each visit and keep in communication with the family. If you choose to trust me with your four legged family member I guarantee they will be well taken care of and loved. About: Extremely skilled and educated on puppies all the way up to senior dogs. I love learning their personalities as well as understanding and meeting their needs. I am currently at a law firm in Fairfax. I will be home in the mornings and evenings every day, with flexible availability. About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. I'm happy to have your dog(s) make themself at home as well or to crate them if that's your preference.
About: Extremely skilled and educated on puppies all the way up to senior dogs. I love learning their personalities as well as understanding and meeting their needs. I currently do not work on Wednesdays and I am off all other days at four. I am also willing to drive to your home for afternoon services. I do my best to follow your pet’s routing exactly the way you do at home, adjusting to whatever care instructions you prefer. I am also more than happy to provide updates as often as you’d life, whether that’s daily or hourly check-ins, photos, or videos so you can see how your pet is doing. I pay close attention to your pet’s behavior, health, and surroundings, making sure they’re safe and comfortable both inside the home and in outdoor spaces. I keep information on local vets and emergency clinics on my phone. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would my own!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for over 20 years. I started when I lived in Centerville. Grew up around dogs and cats and horses. Will stay at the clients house with the animal. If the client prefers the comfort of their pet I am reliable, Love animals, have references. But she got a chance to run around Stacie’s backyard as much as she wanted to, made friends with the other dog (Stacie allows only two dogs for overnight stay, not counting her own dog who is also very sweet). She can’t talk for herself, but I can tell that she had a lot of fun and enjoyed the stay! - this also can be proven through the pictures Stacie sent me while I was away!
