About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. I'm happy to have your dog(s) make themself at home as well or to crate them if that's your preference.

About: Love all animas and they know it. I am able to make a quick bond with any animal. I love them all. I have watched dogs cats and fish. Can do it in your home or take a dog tor other small animal to my home. We have quinea pigs we had bearded dragon and hamster and turtle in past so we have all kinds of experience!! I am home for summer with my kids so will be able to attend to your pets needs. I can adjust my schedule based on what is needed for your pets!! I am able to take a friendly pet home with us or go to your house. I used one it both ways. We have friendly German shepherds and if needed we can keep your dog in our house

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for over 20 years. I started when I lived in Centerville. Grew up around dogs and cats and horses. Will stay at the clients house with the animal. If the client prefers the comfort of their pet I am reliable, Love animals, have references. Will do meet and greet and do some time with pet to make sure pet is comfortable with me before the job date. I will talk to you about specific things about your pet you prefer to make sure everything is done your way. I just graduated from nursing school so right now I am looking for a job and doing part time work on the side along side of this. Your dog still gets my attention and needs that are required and then some. I stay in the home if I need to. I feed in one of the animals walked the animals we needed. I play with the animals. I cuddle with the animals and show love to the animals.

About: I have had cats ever since I was little and have also worked in a cat rehoming and adoption center! I also love dogs and am comfortable walking them and tending to their needs. I’m a teacher on summer break so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets and give them all the attention and care they need! I am not able to board dogs where I currently live (due to my lease) but I can travel to you and give all the services needed! I am comfortable traveling to homes as well as boarding kitties.

I work remotely, and I am currently in graduate school (online). I spend a lot of time at home! I rarely leave my boys home alone more than a few hours at a time. They get a lot of potty breaks throughout the day. I have a fenced in backyard, it is also fully turfed. Very safe and secure. I am happy to crate your pet when left alone or at night for safety. I have a dog stroller if your pup is too old to go on longer walks, or gets tired easily, but still enjoys time outside.

Jack has had only one person walk him (me), so I was concerned that a new walker may not be able to handle him, but also be empathetic enough to his special needs. Ashley came through! Ashley is sensitive, strong, keeps a good grip on the leash, and stayed in-tune to Jack's rhythm. About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs on a farm, apartment, townhouse, etc. I have experience with many different personalities, energy levels, and breed needs I currently have two dogs of my own, a great pyrenees and a golden retriever. I’ve also worked at a veterinary clinic as a vet tech, gaining additional experiences with animal care, health needs, and proper handling. I beleive no dog should be judged by their breed or put under a general label. I focus on their body language and individual personalities, while still addressing breed needs. I currently am working 32-40 hours a week that gives me a certain level of flexibility to match your schedule. I receive my schedule every Saturday, two weeks posted at a time. I will give full transparency if there are any schedule conflicts. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet in someone else’s care, they’re your family! My goal is to always make sure both you and your pet few safe, supported, and at ease while you’re away. I do my best to follow your pet’s routing exactly the way you do at home, adjusting to whatever care instructions you prefer. I am also more than happy to provide updates as often as you’d life, whether that’s daily or hourly check-ins, photos, or videos so you can see how your pet is doing. I pay close attention to your pet’s behavior, health, and surroundings, making sure they’re safe and comfortable both inside the home and in outdoor spaces. I keep information on local vets and emergency clinics on my phone. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would my own!
