About: After taking years off during covid and having two kids, I'm now able to return to Rover! I can currently only care for kid friendly pets. I have been caring for dogs and cats for over 25 years. I look forward to helping care for your dog or cat and can help with training for your dog. Though my own dogs have now grown too old, I previously trained and competed in multiple dog sports. I am familiar with reactive dogs and take precautions to make a walk less stressful for reactive pups. If your dog is looking for extended exercise and is good in the car, I can take your pup on a nature hike or to a park. Alternatively, I can provide dogs or cats quick walks, belly rubs or games of fetch/chase. I have flexibility during the week and many weekends. I've been walking dogs and taking care of cats since I was 6 years old and have provided excellent service to friends and family over the years. I look forward to adding your dog or cat to my pack of pets I love! I am able to care for pets during weekdays and weekends. I am flexible with hours! Just let me know what you need for your pet! I care for your pet like my own. For drop-in and dog walks, I'll spend time making them feel comfortable and give treats as allowed. About: I grew up with cats. At one time we had 7! I love cats and love spending time with them. I also had two cats as an adult but haven't gotten another once since they passed because of my daughter's allergies. I have given cats medicine, cleaned wounds and worked in a vet office with long term vacation kitties. I like cats I am willing to go slow and make sure they feel comfortable with me and that their needs are met. Her home is beautiful and accommodates dogs - lots of toys, blanket to snuggle in or rest next to Leslie on sofa. Backyard is big and fenced in - a doggies dream backyard. Leslie sent fun pictures and kept us up-to-date on their potty breaks. She walked the pups on a walking trails near her home which my dogs loved. Hopefully next time they will get to see the Canadian geese which visit the local pond regularly. About: In our home your dog will receive a lot of love from our family and companionship from our two dogs. We have a golden retriever and a Bernese mountain dog. They are both 3 years old. We have bred each of them once and are used to having small puppies around. We have a large, fenced backyard for your dog to play safely. Your dog will be part of the family during their stay. We will take them on daily walks and will receive lots of cuddles. Besides intermittent outings, I will be home with your dog, the whole time. I have had dogs for many years, but I have dog sat dogs for the last two years. Your dog will be a part of our family. I homeschool my children and so we are home most of the time. We do have outings but are usually back within 4 hours. I can usually accommodate our schedule if your pet needs care more often than that, if I know in advance. I have a fenced back yard and two dogs of my own. I can also crate the dogs or separate the different areas of the house if there are any safety concerns.

I also have experience caring for indoor & outdoor cats and can follow whatever protocol you need to keep them happy and healthy! I’m currently home for the summer from college and taking an online class while working remotely. I coach volleyball on Monday and Wednesday evenings but I’d still be available for visits before and after! I’m really available at all times as long as we can communicate expectations! I do not offer pet care in my home to protect my pet rabbits who are free-roam. However, in your home, I will follow all protocol you ask me to complete while providing many pets and cuddles and whatever playtime they love! It is important to keep your pet’s brain stimulated, especially when they are anxious because their owner is away!

I grew up surrounded by five Lab mixes and have spent summers fostering for the Pet Connect rescue. About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. I'm happy to have your dog(s) make themself at home as well or to crate them if that's your preference.

About: I’ve had 13 years of pet care experience, including walking, bathing, and grooming! We’re very interactive with the pets, with at least one family member home at all times. I am currently at a law firm in Fairfax. I will be home in the mornings and evenings every day, with flexible availability. I can come to you anywhere in the Warrenton/Marshall/Bealeton/Gainesville area. We have a fenced-in yard and crating available (if requested or necessary for your pet). We have a young Golden Retriever who loves to play and swim in the pool! If the pool will be an issue for your pup, we will avoid the backyard and stick to walks & the front yard!
