About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes; ranging from Chihuahuas to Labradors. Raised my 3 month pup till he was 16 so I can handle a dog at any phase. Currently I have no other job which means my schedule is quite flexible. My availability is Monday-Friday from 11am-8pm. I take same day requests, but at least message an hour before. I would make sure a dog approaching is friendly and if yours is not I’d go another route to avoid complications. When I walk my dogs I make sure they poop before heading home so the same would go for yours. I would not try cutting the 1hr walk short.

About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. I'm happy to have your dog(s) make themself at home as well or to crate them if that's your preference.

They get a lot of potty breaks throughout the day. I have a fenced in backyard, it is also fully turfed. Very safe and secure. I am happy to crate your pet when left alone or at night for safety. I have a dog stroller if your pup is too old to go on longer walks, or gets tired easily, but still enjoys time outside.
