Information Mary B. would like to know about your pet

Please describe your pet's temperament (shy, high energy, wary of strangers), how well they get along with other animals, and if they have any aggressive tendencies or a bite history. Let me know of any medication or special diet your pet might be on, in addition to any medical conditions or separation anxiety.

A typical day

My biggest focus is for your pet to get as much exercise and attention as they need, which includes walks and runs for pups, and engaging in play and cuddles with every animal!

Pet care experience

In addition to petsitting on Rover since 2021, I was a trained volunteer at the SPCA in Harrisonburg, VA, with over 150 hours of service completed. Those hours included walking dogs, cleaning cat cages, and socializing feral kittens! I occasionally fostered animals for the shelter, and am very experienced at giving pets medication (oral, injection, or topical). I grew up with a family cat and Golden Retriever, and adopted a cat of my own, Ellie, over 10 years ago. I am very good at earning the trust of shy or wary animals, which is always a big relief for anxious pet owners. Over my many years of petsitting, I am more than used to complex feeding routines, stubborn senior pets, odd toileting practices -- I've see it all! Beyond cats and dogs, I have cared for chickens, parrots, bunnies, fish, hampsters, reptiles... you name it!
