About: I’ve had 15 years of experience in taking care of other people’s pets as well as having my own, I had a small business with my sister but we eventually stopped for her to pursue babysitting instead. I have worked with a variety of animals and have some basic knowledge from my previous job at petsmart, I know this site is for cats and dogs but I am also willing to do other animals as well. I do have some training in dog grooming from my job, but I am only comfortable with bathing and drying off. My best time for scheduling would be from 9 AM to 3 PM, anything else I really cannot fit into my schedule due to personal commitments. I suppose my best way to answer this is to love them. I love animals, and I know animals are not all the same. They need specific care and specific needs met, and every one of those looks different for each animal. One of the best things I can do as a pet sitter is to provide the care needed, and to show the attention needed as well. Instructions and expectations are set for a reason, and I am willing to follow any one of those to ensure your animals are taken care of to the best of my ability.

“If you only want the best for your pet, Ami is it. Everything from start to finish with her has been nothing short of outstanding. She is reliable, compassionate, and her energy is so calming. My dog Luna had just been diagnosed with kidney disease, and I was overwhelmed. Ami came over to administer subQ fluids, which have been a struggle for me to do on my own because it was so stressful for my dog. Ami taught me things the vet never mentioned, so that the experience was less stressful for Luna, such as warming the bag of fluids, the position to hold my dog in and how to distract her with treats. She even recommended needles that are thinner, and I was amazed my dog didn’t even react when she poked her! She is also working with me on a specialty diet specifically for CKD which is already helping with her nausea and appetite. I am so relieved to have found Ami - she is an invaluable resource, and true animal whisperer. And our kitties approve too, they absolutely love her! Thanks again Ami!!!”

About: My name is Dana Whitcomb and I have a love of playing with and caring for dogs. I have a single family home with approximately 1/3 acre lot. The back yard is large and fenced in for play time. I have grown up with dogs all my life and in my family. I currently have 2 dogs. Witten is 12 yrs old and is a Puggle. Winston is 5 and is a Bichon mix. Witten is mainly an inside dog and loves to just lay around, while Winston is similar but more active when other dogs come to play. Both my dogs are fixed and up to date on shots. I help watch the dogs of my neighbors when they are away on trips, work, and even for play dates. I welcome any breed of dog as long as they are not aggressive as I have children at home. During this time of Covid, I would like to inform all potential clients that my family and I have all been tested and are negative for Covid. Any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you!

About: I’ve been a pet owner for 15 years. Had a beautiful Maltese companion named Dandelion (seen in profile photo) who recently passed of old age. Looking to help people care for their pets while simultaneously getting to socialize with animals again! I’m very detail oriented, patient and intuitive when it comes to pet care. Currently working between 2-5 days a week at a small spa as a contractor employee so my schedule is flexible. Will be starting online class in the fall (I can take it anywhere with me) I’m open to short term and long term care provided I work it into my schedule in advance. I’m used to interacting with animals in various states of being. If they need lots of playtime or attention, needing to be crated or just given space, I am willing to follow instruction and guidance per the owners request while using my own skillset to approach each situation the best.

“Kate is the best!! Wouldn’t trust anyone else to watch my 17 year old kitty! She sends updates and pics after every visit and girl is never stressed or seems alone when I get home!! Highly recommended!”

“Steph has done house and dog sitting for my dogs many times over the last 7+ years. Besides giving my pets the most tender loving care possible, she gives our family the most important emotion possible-- peace of mind. Most of our trips are planned but some were short notice and Steph always stepped up to get the job done. She is completely professional, punctual and is clearly worthy of our trust and confidence. I inherently trust her to get the job done every time. Most importantly, it's not just a job to her. She truly loves our animals and is excited to care for the dogs as if they are her very own. From one dog lover to many others out there, I give her my highest recommendation possible. Thanks, Bill”

Bianca N.
“Bianca is truly an incredible dog sitter! She has taken such amazing care of my dogs, Duke and Pup, and I honestly can’t imagine leaving them with anyone else. From the moment she met them, I could tell she had a natural connection with both dogs — even Duke, who can be a little shy at first, warmed up to her right away. She keeps me updated with photos and little notes about how they’re doing, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. Whether it’s taking them on walks, playing with them, or just giving them the attention and love they’re used to at home, Bianca goes above and beyond every time. Duke and Pup are always happy and relaxed when I return, and it’s clear they absolutely love her. I’m so grateful to have found someone as trustworthy, caring, and responsible as Bianca. She’s truly the best!”

Jordan F.
“Our dog loves going on walks with Jordan! She is always reliable and makes sure he is happy and well-exercised. We feel comfortable knowing he's in great hands.
