About: I’ve been taking care of all kinds of animals all my life. Grew up Farming and Ranching. No chore is too big for Nurse Lizzy! I do work at Arroyo Grande Hospital 3 nights per week so I would coordinate your animal care with my schedule. But I am flexible. I have one wonderful chi weenie dog who loves all people and pets. He may come on walks with us. We can’t wait to meet!

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have always watched dogs for all my friends and family! I love having dogs around as it’s never a dull moment in the house! I currently work remote so I am always home and and ready to care for your fur babies! I currently work remote so I am home all day. My work schedule is 8am-5:30pm and I exercise by walking the riverbed by my house so it’s perfect for me and the pups! I have a fenced yard and a twelve year old beagle mix who loves to meet new friends! When I dog sit for friends or family, I set up a spot for them in my room and my pup in a separate room so they can have their space. I’m not a huge fan of leaving pups in the garage (unless requested) so they will always have a spot with me I their own bed!

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have over 15 years of hands on experience caring for them. I helped raise two family dogs growing up, and now I walk my mom’s dog and my mother-in-law’s dogs every morning. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs different breeds, sizes, and energy levels and I’m confident handling everything from high-energy walks to calm cuddle time. About: I've had the gift of house/pet sitting for 15 years, and it is without a doubt the most rewarding job I've ever experienced! Personally, I've had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, horses, and hermit crabs as pets, besides the odd rescued baby bird, bunny, or mouse. On top of cats, dogs, and fish, I've had the opportunity to care for alpacas, an African grey parrot, and saltwater fish/reefs, while pet sitting. Every animal I encounter has its own identity and temperament, which is always fun and interesting to observe and base my care on. I feel like such a winner when I get a standoffish animal to trust me! Throughout my life I've had an array of animals to bond with, though for a long period recently we had just one cat. Mournfully, a few years ago, my dad and I had to part with our beloved Stevie. She was our close companion for over 15 years, and I still miss her immensely. Her quirks and routines still cross my mind, which brings all the things that made her unique and lovable up into my heart. Pet sitting warms my heart, and definitely fills the need that I still have for animal companionship (but without the heartbreak). Pet sitting is a way for me to have the joy of loving and caring for a pet in an empathetic way: in their own home, on their own schedule, stepping into their owner's (figurative) shoes for a bit, to make *everyone* more comfortable. Time and again, it's proven to be the best way I've found to give personalized care to precious pets, and allow owners to truly enjoy their time away. My part-time library job offers me a lot of flexibility, leaving me the opportunity to do more of what I love. Traveling, exploring new areas, experiencing new food, going to music events, working out/walking, spiritual activities, and creative endeavors have a place in my life because of this balance. Of course that also includes one of the most rewarding ways to punctuate my life: house and pet sitting! I base my care around the individual needs of the pet and owner! Pets LOVE their routines, so I typically live in harmony with their modus operandi, on balance with my part-time engagements.

About: From childhood to adulthood, I have always had a dog in my life. I am empathetic toward these kind souls and adore cute cats too! I am a former Coast Guardsman working as a behavioral therapist for children with autism and an aspiring teacher. As a full time online college student, I am more than happy to spend time with your animal. My role as a behavioral therapist only demands I leave the house on Mon, Wed, and Fri from 0900-1130 & 1530-1730. Outside of that and online classes (which have no schedule), I am free for pet care. I am athletic, so if your dog like to run, play, or take long walks, I will be there for it. As a self-proclaimed cuddler, your pet will receive tons of affections. Because of my military experience, I can closely adhere to any specific schedule your animal has.

About: I have been actively caring for animals since 2020 and have found such great fulfillment through it. Your furry friend's needs come first and I always make sure everyone feels secure and happy in every visit 🥰 I am able to do overnights any day of the week. My schedule is always flexible and I will always find a way to make sure your needs are being met! For drop in visits and walks, I have more flexibility on weekends. On Mondays-Fridays, I am able to do visits after 4:30pm. With any new animal, I start off slow and let them have the opportunity to sniff or be near me without feeling pressured. I analyze the animal's behavior and pick up any cues on how they're feeling before proceeding. Building trust is very important to me and I like to build connections with the animals!

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and appreciate the flexibility that Rover offers to care for your loved ones. I am reliable and will treat your pets in the way that you are most comfortable whether it’s while you are away on a trip or just need extra help. I work remotely and my dog Rufus is my favorite co-worker. I am able to adjust my schedule as needed to care for Rufus and your loved ones. We kennel Rufus at night in our home. We then walk him in the morning, feed him, and spend time with him. He is most lovable in the mornings. We have a dog run with shade that we use during the day if needed.

About: Dogs are sent from God to make human lives complete. I'm lucky to have 1 well-adjusted one. It's a privilege to spend time around dogs; I treat them with respect and also have expectations for them. The result: a happy pack! (When you're making your dog care choice, please know I prefer dogs who are potty / house trained & treated for flea / tick). Dogs are like my children. They're having fun and learning at the same time. Exercise, water, attention and play time is what makes a good dog! They're a priority when they're with me and no decisions are made without considering how it affects my dog / dogs. I understand each dog is unique; they have their own personality and experiences which make them who they are. That being said, there isn't a "cookie cutter" way to treat a dog. Knowing each one, what they fear or love, what it takes to make them happy is what makes for a good outcome. My ultimate goal is for your dog to leap out of your car when he / she arrives at my home or sees me walk through your door.

About: I have been a pet care giver for 24 dogs, 6 cats, some fish and farm animals. I have always grown up around many animals wether its little dogs, big dogs, cats, pigs, goats and bunnies! I absolutely love all animals, especially the big ones. I have done pet sitting, walking and administering medication for 5 years for animals other than my own. I work part-time, a few hours 3 days a week. My schedule is very flexible and I have plenty of availability for your furry friends. The day's I work I am home by 1-2pm and I have the weekends off to spend time with your animals. I have a fenced in acre for your pets to roam and enjoy. There is lots of turf, dirt and shade for our furry friends to run, play and rest. I have a friendly 3 year old golden doodle who loves to play and keep other furry friends company. I have a spacious and cozy room for overnight stayers and can crate if needed.

About: Hi, my name is Landon, I'm from Salinas, California and it's my second year living in Eugene. I attended the university last year and now I'm taking a gap year to get my financials in order, in state tuition, etc. so I can finish my degree. My girlfriend and I have been together 3 years and her parents have 17 and 20 years of experience in the animal field. Her dad is one of the head animal control officers for Monterey County (where we're from) and has taught both of us so much about dogs and cats. Whether it be training methods, foods that are better than others, how to recognize certain behavioral habits, or any problem we come to him with, her dad has taught us how to truly take the best care of a dog. If I were to be accepted to take care of your pet, I would use all of my tools and knowledge and my whole heart to show your furry kid love. Currently, I'm looking for any job so my schedule is wide open! Caring for your pet will be at the top of my list as soon as I hear I can take care of them. So I unfortunately would not be able to care for pets at my house for extended periods of time, as my place doesn't allow ownership of pets, but one night wouldn't hurt at all. Any pet I encounter I treat as if it were my own, and with that comes smothering them with love, and caring to meet their needs as a pup while to a certain degree, spoiling them!

About: I grew up taking care of all kinds of animals from dogs, cats, fishes, rabbits, guinea pigs and even a horse! animals require different training and attention but taking care of them throughout my childhood was the best thing ever for me! I have open availability! I’m able to take your dog for a morning walk and an afternoon walk. I can also bathe your dog after! I do require for dogs to have a leash and a collar for walks, if you have a stroller for your pet I can use that too if you’d like.

I ensure all the animals have the proper amount of food everyday, along with making sure they have enough water. If there is no doggy door I let the animals out as frequently as needed. I always make sure they have lots of walks, playtime, and cuddles.

I can take trips to the beach or park as long as the owners are comfortable with that. Pets sleep inside the home with me. I can pick up and/or drop off for a small extra fee.
