About: I’ve taken care of a female Chihuahua as a child, and I have a very friendly and independent 4 yr old neutered Labrador Retriever whom I raised as a puppy from a breeder at 8 weeks old. We got our dog after our adopted Dwarf Netherlands rabbit passed away. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk and feed dogs and cats and rabbits. I’m also lucky to have two teenagers enjoying their summer and school breaks, and we are a very active, outdoorsy family. Over the years I’ve developed solid puppy-training skills, including crate training, housebreaking, basic obedience (sit, stay, come) and leash manners, all rooted in positive reinforcement. I’ve guided my Labrador through socialization classes and plenty of off-leash hiking, so I’m comfortable introducing shy or energetic pups to new environments and routines. With two responsible teenagers on hand, your pet will never be short on playmates or supervision. Our family schedule allows for multiple daily walks, interactive play sessions, and consistent feeding times. Note: As I am the Rover account holder, I supervise any minors, including my kids at all times. I’m currently working remotely and both teenagers are at home, so amongst the 3 of us, we have time to walk the dogs and for your dog to be socialized with our dog. We begin each weekday with a 20–30 minute morning walk around the neighborhood, giving everyone fresh air and a chance to stretch their legs before the day starts. Note: As I am the Rover account holder, I supervise any minors, including my kids at all times. Midday, one of us takes a break to let the dogs out for a quick potty run or a brief training session—perfect for reinforcing commands and mental stimulation. In the late afternoon/early evening, we fit in a second walk or backyard swimming time or fetch to keep energy levels high and boredom at bay. Evenings are reserved for a family stroll to our local dog park or a leisurely hike on nearby trails, ensuring every pup enjoys social interaction and new sights. On weekends, we extend our adventures with longer outings—beach trips, wooded trails or agility exercises—tailoring each activity to match your dog’s fitness and personality. Throughout the week, we stick to consistent feeding schedules, administer any medications as needed, and perform daily grooming checks, so you can rest assured your pet’s routine stays stable and nourishing. Safety, trust, and a comforting environment are at the heart of my pet-care philosophy. My backyard is fully fenced, giving dogs a secure space to run, sniff, and play without worry. We also have an in-ground swimming pool—perfect for water-loving breeds—but every splash session is closely supervised, and the shallow end has easy-exit steps so no pup ever feels trapped. My friendly 4-year-old Labrador greets every new guest with gentle enthusiasm, providing instant companionship and encouragement for shy dogs to explore. For dogs who need their own space, we offer two comfortable crates: a covered outdoor kennel shaded from sun and rain, and a cool, quiet crate in our basement. Whether your dog craves privacy during nap time or needs a secure spot while we’re out running errands, each crate is lined with plush bedding, cleaned daily, and arranged with a favorite toy if you provide one. Building trust starts before your dog even walks through the door. We begin with a meet-and-greet so you can see the space and we can learn about your pet’s routines, diet, and temperament. During their stay, I send regular photo and video updates, plus notes on meals, walks, play sessions, and any milestones—like mastering a new trick or making a new furry friend. Your dog will enjoy consistent feeding times, daily potty breaks in the safe, enclosed yard, and multiple supervised play sessions with our Lab and the rest of the family. From pool-side splashes to cozy crate retreats, every element of our home is optimized for safety, comfort, and trust.

Newcastle pet parents share their Rover experiences
Noela is a rock star! Lily generally does not feel comfortable in new spaces, but she felt right at home when arriving at Noela's home. Usually Lily just sits by the front door indicating that she can't wait to leave, but she was relaxed and felt right at home immediately. Lily is sensitive to thunder and fireworks and apparently some kids were setting some off while we were gone, and Noela was very creative in making Lily comfortable! We will definitely use Noela again!

Chang is an exceptional dogsitter! From the moment I dropped Toff off, she kept me reassured with regular photos, videos, and prompt updates. Her dedication was unmatched—rain or shine, she made sure Toff had daily adventures, from dog parks to forest walks. He had a blast with her and Kudo! Responsive, caring, knowledgeable and truly devoted, Chang is my top choice, and I’d absolutely rebook without hesitation. 10/10 recommend!

Kelzee was great, lots of pics and updates. Great communication and easy set up, it was our first time using Rover and she made it very easy. Once we met her, we had no concerns and knew our pet would be well cared for. Thanks Kelzee, you made it a great experience and Riley will be back!

Alina was excellent! I was a little nervous about going on our week long trip because Zoe just got a new medical diagnosis and needs medications daily but Alina was super. Very calm and professional and Zoe took to her immediately! Alina was very responsive and sent regular updates of their walkies/adventures. I could tell Zoe was well cared for and happy with Alina when I picked her up. Would highly recommend her services!
