“Basil was great! She is very accommodating and took great care of our two 15 year old Havanese. This included cleaning up after them and she did this willingly. I would highly recommend her,”

“Paige was so great with my dog and home. She sent daily, detailed updates, kept my home in great shape, and even went above and beyond being flexible with my schedule changing. Paige was considerate when wanting to involve my dog in an hike she was attending, takin care to asking for permission beforehand! She took great care of my pup, cuddling her, and spending time with her throughout the week and my dog seemed at ease when I returned. In a true act of Above-And-Beyond, Paige offered to mow my lawn after the grass got tall when I was out of town— so far beyond the expectation! I would happily book her again!”

“Riley was very good and I would recommend him to annyone and use him again! I texted him daily to check on the pups and he always responded back! Very nice and I’m a nervous dog mom so he was great!”

“Aspen did a great job watching our dogs and cats while we were gone for a couple days! She was great at communicating before and during the stay, and sent many photos and updates throughout. Our pets aren’t the easiest to care for but we felt comfortable with her here while we were away. Thanks Aspen!”

“Ari was great! She kept us updated with messages and pictures and followed all of our instructions! She was absolutely essential to us enjoying a few days away without worrying about our pups. We have a very large dog ( 100lbs) and she handled him no problem.”

“Shermont'e was very respectable and patient with our dogs, (our dogs can be shy meeting new people). He constantly gave us updates on how they were doing, and that our most shy dog warmed up to him by the end of his stay! 10/10 would recommend!!”

“Joe took care of our guys and house for a long weekend. He took the boys on long walks and we could tell that they were super happy with Joe. Very good communicator and highly responsible. We will be scheduling with Joe again soon.”

“Rafi loved Alle, and for good reason! He was spoiled rotten with love, daily hikes, playdates and an endless amount of love! Alle stayed in our house and was communicative, responsible, and even left both Rafi and us beautiful gifts (hint, she is an artists in her spare time!). We cannot recommend Alle highly enough.”

“Ishmell was great! We had such peace of mind knowing he was at our house with our pup and appreciated all the text and photo updates we got. I would 100% book with him again!”

“Bryn was such a joy to have dog sitting our “only child”, our 4-year-old yorkie. Despite being anxious dog owners leaving him with a sitter for the first time, she was calm and communicative. She gave our dog, Byron, many walks and cuddles and sent a picture a day to give us our fix! :) She very kindly dealt with a broken dishwasher and the maintenance man, and also fetched our mail and packages while we were away. We highly recommend her as a sitter. Thank you, Bryn! We will be reaching out again in the future!!”

About: Growing up, we had all sorts of uncommon and common pets. I had everything from dogs and cats to bearded dragons and parakeets and mice. I've cared for saltwater fish, ferrets, four dogs, five cats, well over 20 reptiles, parrots of different kinds, and more! I honestly couldn't list everything I've owned, or worked with for my job. I started working at various pet stores when I was 16, and have worked at exotic pet stores for reptiles and aquatics as well. I also began working at animal hospitals, doggy daycares, and overnight boarding facilities. Now that I'm currently working as a barista, I want a way to continue caring for pets! I loved working with dogs and cats, but I'm willing to take care of almost anything. I work part time as a barista, and I have to spend some time each day with my parrot so I can't work before 11am to around noon. I'm only a barista three or so days per week, so I'm available any time after 11am/noon pretty often. Tuesdays I have an appointment at 2pm every week as well. I spent years caring for dogs and cats, even providing medical care to ill animals. My cat is diabetic and I've helped vaccinate puppies, so I'm okay with giving injections to animals with medical needs that would require it. I know basic first aid, have dealt with seizures in my own dogs, have worked with blind, deaf, and disabled dogs, and I consider it important to pay attention to an animal's body language (so that they always feel comfortable and safe).

“Meg is a gem! She is likable, easy to deal with, and always responds quickly. Most importantly, she is very loving with the dogs. We used her previously for a daytime stay and then again for a 5-night stay, and everything went great! The dogs love her, and we never worried about them during our trip. She left the house in order and just as we left it. I selfishly don't want to leave a great review because I want to keep her as a secret! She really is the best - we are so happy we found her.”

“We were unable to do a meet and greet due to quick turnaround time and she still made us feel so comfortable watching our dog! Great communication, picture updates, and overall just a super kind human! Looking forward to booking her again for future trips. Thank you!!”

“Palace did a wonderful job housesitting with my dog Honey. The communication was great with daily photo updates. I would happily recommend Palace. It’s clear she loves animals and take great care with them.”

About: Animals have always been my world. After losing my beloved dog, I want to spend my time doing what I love, bathing, feeding, training puppies, caring for seniors, and providing loving, dependable care for every pet I offer love, puppy training, senior care, and all-around pet pampering to keep tails wagging and whiskers happy. I’m an open book! With more free time in my schedule, I want to dedicate my days to something that truly brings me joy—caring for animals. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, bathing, puppy training, or senior pet care, I give every furry friend the same love and attention I would my own. Being able to fill my time surrounded by happy tails and purrs is exactly where I want to be. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I provide personalized, loving care based on each pet’s routine and personality. I make sure they have fresh food and water, daily walks or playtime, and plenty of affection. I can also handle bathing, feeding, administering basic medications, puppy training, and senior pet assistance. My goal is to keep pets comfortable, happy, and stress-free by maintaining familiar routines and giving them the same love and attention they’d get from their family.

Danielle C.
“I've known Danielle for almost 30 years, and she's been an animal lover for as long as I've known her. In high school, she adopted her aunt's boxer when her aunt became too sick to care for him, and Danielle became the loving caretaker of that dog for the rest of his life. In adulthood, her first act as a new homeowner was to adopt 2 cats who are still happy and healthy members of her family today. And in 2023, after her fiance passed, she adopted his 2 cats and became their full-time caregiver. Danielle is a great pet mom, and would make a fantastic caregiver for anyone's fur babies!”

“Over many years I’ve watched Ashes passion for animals develop and grow. We met in high school and worked at a pet store together for a while. She has an incredibly kind soul and will take the best care of any creature. Not only is she passionate about animal care, she is extremely knowledgeable and talented at providing the absolute best care possible! She has many animals in of her own, all of which thrive under her care. I wouldn’t trust anyone more than Ash to look after my dogs and other pets if needed.”

Newburgh Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
When I had to go out of town for a week, Madison did an amazing job taking care of my cat, who is recovering from surgery and on 3x/day antibiotics. She kept me informed throughout and helpfully trouble shooted when my cat started resisting her medicine. I’m very grateful for Madison’s help over the last week and would recommend her to you!

James was our first ever Rover and he was awesome! We met him and his pups before the reservation and he helped us understand what our dog’s stay would look like and answered any questions we had. During the stay, he was great about updates with pictures, which included daily walks, our dog enjoying his backyard, and time with his dogs. We’ll be booking again!!
