You cannot find a better, more caring, surrogate dog parent for your 4 legged kids. Lots of playtime with Summer (Lynn’s girl), homemade treats, toys galore, cuddles and snuggles at will,… I could on and on… (BTW, unlike Amazon’s reviews, you can take this one to the bank!). “Where do I even begin? We have a 20-year-old senior cat, and we had never trusted anyone else to care for him before. Leaving him was something I was incredibly anxious about, but Alexis made the entire experience so much easier. She was so patient, kind, and gentle with our sweet senior boy. She did an amazing job giving him his medications and always kept me updated after each visit with thoughtful messages and pictures. Honestly, I don’t know who she comforted more—me or my cat! “My husband and I were traveling across country with our fur baby, Bella and he wanted to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. They do not allow dogs (unless they are service dogs) into the hall of Fame, so as a Rover sitter myself, I looked for a sitter here. I found Pam and she was great! She provided the care and attention that Bella needed. When we left the Hall of Fame to go pick Bella up, I texted Pam to let her know we were on our way. Pam was thoughtful enough to take Bella for a walk before we picked her up and continued for a four hour drive. I highly recommend her!”
About: My husband and I own a very sweet, playful Great Dane/mastiff and a pure bred English Mastiff. We have experience with all kinds of dogs and other animals. We have a large finished upstairs where our dog loves to run and play. We have a large backyard that is fully fenced/gated. We walk daily (in nice weather). We have fun toys to play with and a whole room for your dog to sleep in (instead of a cage) but if your dog prefers a cage we have a huge one he can sleep in (or you can bring your own). I stay home so your pet will have plenty of company! We have three young girls who absolutely love playing with dogs. They are gentle and dogs always love them.

About: There’s never been a time in my life where I haven’t been active. Realizing I could be both; active AND hang out with some furry friends - it was a no brainer for me. I’ve had two of my own dogs for the majority of my life (cat lover as well), so I’ve most definitely been acclimated to all that they may throw at me. I started rover mid 2025 as a side gig after hopping out of the 9-5 life - I now have a consistent clientele and pups/ kitties that I’ve watched grow up. I’m looking to continue booking up my schedule as I love what I now do! I most frequently get requested for walks and drop-ins. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to send me over a message!! I’m currently only working part-time. I have some time on my hands and love dogs as is, so when I realized this was a side gig option, I hopped on it! I’ll be accepting walks/sitting/pop ins whenever I’m free! I have an open house with no fragile valuables, a fenced in back yard, and crates/ closed off options. Also very adaptable to other homes systems.

About: Starting on September 1st, I begin a new job that is from 8am-5:30pm M-F. I've always grown up with animals. I was born into a family with two older dogs, and grew up with 2 family dogs, Maggie & Henry, whom I loved and adored as family. When I moved to graduate school, I adopted two cats, Plum & May. I didn't grow up with cats, but during college up to now I spend time at local animal shelters volunteering and helping to socialize cats where I have time. Currently, I spend my free time trapping, spaying/neutering, and releasing feral cats in my neighborhood to give them better, safer lives. I work an 8-5pm job M-F currently in Cleveland. I am a graduate student, which does mean I am relatively busy, However, I am more than willing to try to fit pet-sitting/walking into my schedule. We can talk more about this if you want to book with me! I always like to get a detailed account of the owner's daily routine with the pet, as well as any medical or physical concerns I should be looking out for. If the client approves, I like to err on the side of reaching out if I have questions or concerns, rather than waiting until they get back. Additionally, having emergency veterinary information is a must, as I am willing to do what is necessary to keep your pet safe.

About: Ever since I was in middle school, I have volunteered at the food bank, senior homes, elementary schools, preschools, and taking care of pets. I am well-versed in handling numerous conflicts. I am currently a new grad, whose job is summer based and am looking to be busy during the winter and spring months. I will be picking up subbing soon, but that is earlier in the day. I am comfortable with caring for pets however their family see fit. It is always important to keep pets in a routine and to follow instructions. I have no issues with implementing them.
