About: I have 3 dogs of my own and I have always been an animal lover. I also love to exercise so dog walking is perfect for me. I have trained my dogs to understand their basic commands and they have excelled. I also am a volunteer at the animal shelter so I have worked with all kinds of dogs throughout different ages. I work from 9-4 Monday-Friday which would allow for me to do the later shifts when walking or watching a dog. On the Weekends I am available all day usually because that is my time off from my Daycare Job. When caring for dogs in a client’s home, my top priority is ensuring their safety and comfort within a familiar, stress-free environment. I follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walk schedules, and preferred play or rest habits, to maintain consistency and reduce anxiety. I always double-check that doors, gates, and fences are secure before and after outdoor time. When walking, I use only the client-approved leashes, harnesses, or other safety gear and avoid unfamiliar or overly busy areas unless instructed otherwise. I also keep a close eye on the dog’s behavior and body language to quickly catch signs of stress or discomfort. Clear communication with the owner is essential—I provide regular updates and follow all instructions carefully, including dietary needs and any medications. About: Hi, my name is Vicky! In 2017 I graduated with a degree in animal sciences from OSU where I volunteered in the ICU and have many years of experience in dog walking and training. Previously, I have worked for family and friends but now I’m looking to expand and work with more owners and their pups! Right now I’m available most week days and weekends to walk or watch your your pet, along with taking care of my own furry babies. At home I have two rescues - a 9 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog named Telly and a 12 year old kitty that runs the house. I’m currently working from home and have flexibility in my schedule as needed.
