“Second time booking with Jenn -nothing short of amazing again with pics and video updates of my pup -Jenn and her family are so sweet and love my dog baby like their own. Really thankful we found and have her for our girl who is so happy there!”

“Jamie and her sweet family has loved and cared for our sweet senior dog Gracie May so well that after the first stay, I was completely comfortable having Gracie there. She sent pictures, and often texted me to just say, “she’s doing great”. I feel like God sent the perfect family to care for until she is no longer with us. We lost our sitters for Gracie unexpectedly and I had to search for a new sitter. We found Jamie. I couldn’t be happier!!”

“She was very patient with my Bella and kept in contact with me the whole time. We were nervous because this was our babies first boarding she kept us informed. We could really tell Tamisha really cares about every dog.”

“This was our first time taking a vacation without our two dogs. Everything went better than I could have expected. They took excellent care of them, sent pictures daily and walked them. My guys loved it there! Great fenced in yard and a very nice home. We'll definitely be back. Thank you both very much.”

“Ellen and her family were amazing. They showered our dog with love, attention, care, and provided us with frequent picture updates. They made us feel at ease as we knew that Archie was going to be feeling right at home for the duration of his stay. She is the best and I would recommend her to anyone. We will boarding Archie there again!!!!!”

“Amy provided outstanding care for my dog, Kallee, while I was in the hospital and then recovering at a rehabilitation facility. My stay was longer than expected, and Amy was so understanding and accommodating. She treated Kallee as if she were her own dog, giving her so much love and attention. Kallee was happy, well cared for, and I had complete peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. Amy even brought Kallee to visit me at the rehabilitation facility, which was such a thoughtful gesture and truly lifted my spirits. I am so grateful for her kindness, compassion, and exceptional care. I will definitely use Amy again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pet like family. Melodie”

About: We know how hard it is to leave your dog with someone else, so we treat every dog like a part of our family. We rescued our Pomeranian Teddy when he was 2 years old, where he received little in the way of socializing or a normal formative experience, and now he's a happy, playful member of our family. I have always had dogs growing up. I love to be around dogs! They make me happy, and I enjoy showering them with endless attention and affection. I'm a worrywart and keep my house 100% dog safe, and keep a watchful eye on any dogs in my care at all times-Teddy is never left completely unattended in the backyard even if he's just going for a quick potty break. Our house has a larged fenced backyard with lots of room to run around and excercise. We are located ONLY 10 MINUTES from Columbus International Airport (but under the flight path at all), making our house an incredibly easy stop if you're coming back from travel! I am currently available to watch your dogs at any time. Weekdays, weekends and holidays can be a fun time for them to stay here and hang out in a quiet neighborhood with a friendly pup. We have a dog safe interior and a fenced backyard in a quiet neighborhood for your fur baby to run around in, with our sweet pomeranian to keep your dog company. We can crate your dog if you needed, or they can sleep with us in our room. Your dog will be given attention constantly and let outside every 2 to 4 hours, or as needed.
“Laken is incredible. She sent the best updates and pictures while Biscuit was staying with her. I know anytime Biscuit is with Laken he is being well cared for and having the best time.”

“Keylor and Grace were very accommodating when I was running late and when I picked Molly up earlier than expected. They were gracious and kind and took very good care of our Frenchie. She had such a good time with the bigger dogs; she was sad at home without them.”

“Justen was great with my dog Honey! She is a little nervous around other dogs after previously getting attacked and he made sure she felt comfortable and safe! I would definitely let him watch her again!”

“Our very energetic pup, Bessie, stayed with Karla for a week. We were so grateful for Karla’s thoughtfulness and experience with dogs. Bessie had a blast with Karla and her two dogs. She provided thorough daily updates and was so flexible when we experienced travel delays! We highly recommend Karla!”

“Hannah and Daniel took great care of my dog while I was gone! I know she can be an anxious dog so it was great to see photos of them and their daughters loving on her like she was their own”

“Rene and Justin are fantastic with Mabel. She comes home happy, tired, and we know well loved. We get daily pictures of her adventures with their family and they are great with communication!”

“GREAT care for our pups as always (return client). Highly recommend Dana and her family, always feel like they treat our dogs as if they were their own. Vacations are now stress free!”

“Angie was wonderful with our one year old mini bernedoodle Reggie. This was only the second time he stayed in someone’s house and the first time with Angie ! She’s a happy, very positive person and gave Reggie lots of TLC while we were away. She also had to administer pills to him and she wasn’t bothered by that at all. We plan to use her services again in January 2026.”

“Lacey was awesome!! She was extremely sweet and I immediately felt comfortable leaving my puppy with her. She was always very quick to respond and asked a lot of questions beforehand to ensure she was providing the best care possible. Lacey sent lots of pictures and videos throughout the stay which I greatly appreciated and it gave me peace of mind. My dog came home exhausted from all the playtime, walks and a dog park visit. Lacey exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend her to care for your pet. I will definitely book Lacey again for my precious pup!”

“Sally you are the best with care of my pups! They are eager to enter your home, and clearly enjoyed your company and social time! They come back tired, loving your yard and in great health. Thank you so much! JO”

“April took very good care of our cats, and she was very patient and understanding when we had difficulty getting, Daisy, our 9 year-old tabby, in the carrier to go home. Daisy is rather stubborn and she absolutely hates traveling in the carrier and hates riding in a car. She yowls very loudly the entire time. That said, we'll definitely contact April the next time we need a sitter! I can't thank her enough for being such a caring animal lover!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Nicolette. She’s sweet and compassionate. She took care of my little Princess like she was her own. I know she gave her lots of love and attention and cuddle time. Princess gets two eye creams twice a day and Nicolette handled that with no problem. She gave me daily reports about how Princess was doing and she sent lots of pictures. I felt completely comfortable with Nicolette and I know she took wonderful care of my fur baby. I will definitely use her again!”

Jill and her family are amazing. I was nervous about leaving my fur babies with someone they didn’t know. But Jill and her family took care of them as their own. Tonight I booked them again and my dogs went right in and seemed to be at home. I highly recommend her for your fur baby

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
