I have experience with breeds of all sizes from Chihuahua to Saint Bernard. I used to run a rescue and foster so I have plenty of experience with harder to handle pets and behavioral issues as well. I have worked at a boarding/grooming/training facility in the past and have many references. I have 5 house dogs of my own and all of them are very social and friendly toward other pets. I also have an indoor/outdoor kennel facility where we house our breeding dogs. Our breeding dogs have no access to dogistting dogs for biohazard reasons. Your pets will also never be out in the kennel facility. My father lives with us and he has 3 dogs of his own as well. We show and breed as well as attend agility, barn hunt, dock diving, fast CAT and a few other dog sports as well. We have 2 children ages 8 and 13. They are very respectful of dogs. Your pets will be treated as part of the family and will not be left locked up like if they were in a boarding facility. We have 3 acres of land, 2 acres of which is enclosed with an underground fence.. if you are not ok with us using the underground fence we do have a few different options we can use for outside time or a cable tie out. Please let us know if you have any questions or would like to set up a meet and greet. Unfortunately due to some health issues I can no longer care for large dogs. I am still accepting past clients large dogs since we are familiar with them and know how to handle them but regrettably I cannot risk new clients for large breeds or hard to handle dogs. Look forward to meeting your pups. I work at a dairy farm milking cows. I work mon-fri 4:30am to 12:30pm (sometimes off earlier if we get done early and don't have extra things to do). My father is retired/disabled so he is nearly always home with the exception of a quick errand. I spend most of my day caring for the dogs and cats. My boyfriend Kenny is a truck driver so his schedule varies each week. We try out hardest to stick to the routines you tell us your pet is used to. The more information you give us about your pet and their daily routines the better.

As a newcomer to Rover, I am beyond grateful for the wonderful experience I’ve had. Finding Lindsey to care for Rosie while I was out of town for business was truly a blessing. We recently moved to a new home without a fenced yard, and with my husband working nights, I was worried about Rosie not getting her walks in the afternoon and evening. From the moment Rosie met Lindsey, there was an instant connection, and it put my heart at ease. I also loved receiving the Rover Report Card—it brought such comfort to know exactly how Rosie was doing. Lindsey’s kindness and the transparency she provided made this experience not just reassuring but heartwarming. When I need help again, there’s no doubt I’ll be reaching out to Lindsey. This is the 3rd year Lindsey has taken care of our puppers and they love it there. They get a little vacation also. They get so excited when we pull up her driveway!
Lindsey gave our dog amazing care! She is very attentive and tuned in to pets, and went above and beyond in meeting our dog’s needs. We received updates during the visit at Lindsey’s home. A very thoughtful, compassionate and effective dog sitter who we hope to see for another visit some time.

Schedule
I work for a dairy farm early in the morning and am usually home before 1pm. My boyfriend is a truck driver so each week his schedule varies. My father is retired/disabled so he is usually always home.

Safety, trust & environment
We have an invisible electric fence. If your dogs are not accustomed to that we can walk them on leashes, use a tie out, or we also have a small outdoor kennel that can be used as an outdoor play area.
Pets
A typical day
Your pets will become part of our family during their stay. If you allow them on furniture, they are allowed on ours. If your dog is used to sleeping on the bed, it can do so here ad long as they get along with our pets. We do not cage unless necessary or recommended by the client.
