About: I’ve been around pets my whole life, especially dogs. Some as small as my mom‘s Chihuahua, to dogs as big as my sister‘s great mastiffs. Ive cared for all types of pets and would love to meet many more! Recently I’ve started working part time but I’m open to work around that! I try to be as flexible as I can. If you’d like me to drop in to feed, walk, or watch your pet, I’ll be available. Whatever type of routine your pets have I’m down to follow it. Lots of pets I’ve worked with have specific eating routines, as well as walking routines, I’m here to learn what works best for you.
“Katlyn did a great job with my 2 dogs, 1 frog and 1 gecko. The house was cleaned and tidy, well beyond what I expected upon my return. She was flexible in the arrangements and promptly met up to meet the critters before I took leave. Would definitely recommend her to anyone else!”

Fenced yard, walks around the river and park, maybe a boat ride to disappearing island. Shady yard, comfy AC house and good naps and snacks. I am a retired elementary school teacher. I Can give love and grooming so that you can give your dog to me and enjoy all Daytona has to offer. If you are a local I can give daily exercise and dog walking service. I can take you and your pet to disappearing island for just a fun day out. If you are arriving by boat I can provide transportation pick up service at the harbor. I live just quarter mile away. I am recently retired and available most everyday and night. I like to walk and live steps away from the Sweet Heart trail that goes the length of Daytona Beach downtown area. I have a fenced in yard, lots of shade and walking trails close by. My air conditioned house is pet friendly with cozy beds and healthy snacks.
“Kelsey did a wonderful job keeping an eye on Miles for us while we were gone for the day! We greatly appreciate her help! We will definitely use her again in the future!!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for many years and bring a calm, attentive approach to pet care. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and especially mindful of routines, comfort, and each pet’s individual needs. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and consistency. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I’m able to accommodate drop-in visits and check-ins with care and reliability. I’m very mindful about safety, routines, and respecting each pet’s environment. I follow care instructions closely, keep doors and entry points secure, and pay attention to subtle behavior changes. I aim to create a calm, low-stress experience in your pet’s home while you’re away.
About: I grew up taking care of my own pets and volunteering at a farm to get experience with large animals. As an adult, that love continued, and during college I worked off leasing a horse whilst pet sitting professionally under a company brand. For a time I also volunteered at an animal shelter while I considered becoming a vet tech. I have experience with a wide variety of animals including horses, chickens, snakes, cats, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, and dogs! I also have experience caring for elderly animals both professionally and at home. ( My darling cat Princess lived until she was 21! ) That means I know how to give pills, ointments, and oral medication with a syringe. I have experience handling rescue cases and those that have been abused as well, though in that aspect I have more experience with cats. I believe in treating animals with kindness and understanding above all else. Safety and comfort is my number one priority for your pets! At home I have two cats named Noodle and Baby that are taken care of by the rest of the family when I'm away on stays - animals have always been a part of my life and always will be, so I say the more the merrier! For all my clients I prefer to have guidelines set before a job. For example: how and when your pet gets fed, any medications they need, the things your pet likes, the things your pet hates, and what to do in case of emergency. I expect honesty when it comes to these things as it helps keep myself and your pet safe. Please, if your pet has trust or behavioral issues, let me know ahead of time! I'm happy to work with them so long as we stay safe together! Overnight stays I am happy to cuddle with your pet all night. I'm also happy to set alarms on my phone if your pet struggles to make it through the night without a bathroom break. I always pick up any animal waste on potty breaks or any accidents that happen in the house. If your pet loves to play, I'm absolutely delighted to get to play with them! It helps me bond with them and helps them trust me. I love playing with pets! I'm open to doing small things around the house on overnight stays as well. If your home has a washer / dryer and you let me sleep in a bed, I'll be happy to put the sheets in the wash on the way out, or I can simply bring my own bed supplies. I'm also happy to bring in the mail. I like to leave the home as it was upon arrival and am a cleanly house guest!
“Paul was friendly and accommodating for our older dog. He was willing to do whatever we needed and sent plenty of updates to let us know all was going well. We will definitely use him again and appreciate him!”

“Maeve took great care of Lucy and left my apartment totally spotless! Really easy and fast to communicate with, followed the care instructions, and sent photo updates while I was away. Lucy was happy, calm, and tired when I got home. 100% would re-book.”

“Brian has been the best sitter we've found so far. He house sat for us while we were out of town. He was very honest and communicative. We're hoping to book him again for our next trip out of town.”

“Sunny was awesome. She really went out of the way with our old girl (Biscuit). Biscuit is notorious for shutting down when we leave and when Sunny saw she was not interested in her food, she hand fed her. Biscuit took to her more so than any of the other sitters we have had. We got plenty of pictures and updates which really put our minds at ease. I would not hesitate to recommend Sunny to anyone looking for a pet sitter. We plan on using her again.”

New Smyrna Beach pet parents share their Rover experiences
Paige was amazing! She responded promptly to my initial inquiry and continued to be extremely helpful and patient throughout the booking process, the actual dog sitting, and even afterward. She is professional and passionate. She clearly LOVES animals and is very sweet and attentive to them. Our lab puppies had a blast with her. She sent us pics and videos so we’d be updated. I have nothing negative to say about Paige. She gave us total peace of mind for our day away from our pups, and we are very grateful.

Caen was wonderful. Time caught up with us and we didn't prepare the home as well as we should have for Caen to house sit for us. He was very gracious and understanding of this and made sure our pups and home were well taken care of. We got updates and pictures of our pups every day and they always looked happy and tuckered out.
