About: I have struggled personally while trying to find reliable care for my kitties on rover once we moved to FL - I am happy to be able to help out other cat families in the area! I have three cats, from a 14 year old senior to a 7 month old kitten. I am familiar and comfortable administering medications (our 7 month old has twice daily oral medication) and treatments (our 14 year old girl has feline asthma). About: I have been a dog owner the last 28 years and most recently worked 13 months as a dog handler at a large pet resort. I have been around and handled lots of breeds, sizes and temperaments. I work from home as an entrepreneur and am available to care for pets staying in my home as if they are my own. I am also flexible in my schedule. I have turned my children's old play room into a dog room. It has its own entrance from a fenced in patio. I try my best to daily take every dog on 1 walk, one on one play time inside and outside. I also have a second space for a cozy private stay. The 6x9 Little Room is bright and a perfect spot for medium to small dogs to relax and play. I have space for dogs who are crate trained as well in my spare bedroom. While dogs are not allowed in my main living area — every dog room has its own exit outside. My community also borders with a dog friendly state preserve where I walk every day and would love to take your dog as well. I've been helping family and friends with their dogs for years and had two myself, until recently when my very old dog passed. I now have one senior lab/rescue that is very well trained. It is very quiet where I live and we have no major streets close, if dogs are well behaved they can be unleashed in the park, I always pick up after the dogs. I give good treats and lots of loving! We also have nature trails in our community.
About: I’ve taken in many abandoned animals and have either kept them or found them loving homes. I once had a baby possum and pet goose that I raised. I am retired and would love to take care of your fur baby on a regular basis so that they can get to know me and trust me. “Joanna and her family were great! My dog came home happy and worn out! Joanna sent me pictures and videos to update us on how our dog was doing while we were away on our trip. Our dog is scared of thunderstorms, but I know her family took good care of her!”

They took amazing care of him, and the children were so incredibly kind, they even built Baxter a fort to keep him comfortable and safe during the stormy days. I loved getting regular updates and photos, and it was clear Baxter thoroughly enjoyed his stay.”
“We needed someone to watch our 5 year old Pomeranian, Luna, on short notice due to family being unavailable. We had never heard of Rover so we didn’t really know what to expect. My wife and I were very happy with the way Rover works and Katlyn’s care for Luna. Katlyn has a lot of experience with different types of dogs so she adapted to Luna quickly. We got frequent updates with how she was doing, which was great. Would highly recommend Katlyn for anyone who may need boarding.”

“Lilliana was probably the best Rover experience I could’ve possibly had. She sent daily updates with photos and videos, had a great fenced in area as well as another dog for me pup to play with. She accommodated every single one of my dogs needs and was so sweet and kind throughout the whole process. Great price, friendly interactions and even allowed a slight change to the schedule. Highly, highly recommend if you’re in Apopka/Orlando area. We’ll 100% be back if we are in the area again!”
