About: My journey started with owning cats growing up and training every animal I ever owned leading up to my first dog. My cats and even my bird. When I was 12, I started dog sitting Pierre, my mom’s coworkers Yorkshire Terrier. He caused me to fall in love with dogs. I became obsessed with AKC dog shows, my mom and I watched it every Thanksgiving morning after the parade. I actually loved anything with animals. I owned many cats from the age of 4 through my teenage years. I love cats but they can’t do what dogs can. Finally after years of begging, my mom got us our first dog, Omega. He was a beautiful standard poodle and was so smart. My best friends mom had a friend who needed to rehome one of hers, he was 1 when we got him and I taught him all he knew from down, stay to jumping over a pole. Before going off to college I chose to foster dogs in need and I fostered three successfully who went off and found their forever homes. It was the most rewarding thing. So I decided if I can work with dogs my entire life and just be around them all day for a job Id be in heaven! Naturally my teenage brain thought “I’ll be a Veterinarian”! I completed 3 years at Virginia Tech majoring in Animal & Poultry Science doing the Companion Animal Tract. I was able to receive a lot of hands on experience with animals of all kinds; pigs, cattle, sheep, horses and chickens (of all ages). I learned skills from halter breaking heifers to administering shots in 3 different ways. Though I do enjoy animals of all kinds I eventually came to the realization that I thoroughly enjoy training dogs and I’m constantly training my own. I currently have two that im working with regularly just for fun at one point and so it dawned on me that I’m in the wrong career. So while in the process of developing and launching my own personal Dog training and boarding business. Since I work from home, I have the time and knowledge to be able to dedicate to helping others who are in need of these services now. Trusting their fur babies will receive the best of care and would be made to feel at home. If your baby is more comfortable in their own home I’m happy to accommodate to their needs. Leaving your fur babies is not always easy, trust me, I’m having to do it for the first time soon myself and with me you can have the peace of mind that your furry friends will be in great hands, as I will treat them just how I’d expect mine to be treated ! With nothing but love, care and patience. I have Experience with all ages! Omega was with us until he passed at the age of 14! My dogs recently had an accidental litter and I raised up 10 puppies who all lived and are 12 weeks old now ! I’m familiar with administering pills or medications if necessary. 7 puppies remain in my care as I want to make sure they go to great homes and I plan to train them as service dog prospects ! I train dogs in basic and advance obedience, on and off leash training, and some skills like protection and sport work. I work from home full time starting my work day at 12:30 pm and ending at 9 pm. I get two 15 minute breaks and one 30 minute lunch through the day. During which they would be able to potty and play. So your furry friend will always have someone home with them. It is a goal of mine to eventually do this full time. I have A large yard on an acre property. Dogs who are trained off leash can roam in the back which has rock boarders lining the property. For those not trained off lead i have A long 30 ft lead which will still allow them the freedom to run around. I have two adult dogs and a litter of puppies still with me who can keep any anxious friends company. And for those who need to be alone, my two can be kept upstairs in my room and the puppies can be crated leaving your friend the entire downstairs to roam or in my work office with me while I work. I have two large crates which can be used if your friend has a hard time getting settled in a new environment. I provide an enriching environment where your fur baby will learn how to be a better k9 citizen everyday ! Picture and video updates can be sent regularly !

About: Experienced with energetic and strong willed dogs. Experienced with structured care, consistent routines, and happy dogs :) Will love your pup like they’re my own Caring for pets is already a big part of my everyday life. My routine revolves around making sure my dog is walked, fed, and given plenty of attention throughout the day. Feel free to message me about availability! I typically am available whenever you need!! I have a very friendly and energetic Husky in my home who loves staying active. We go on walks around the neighborhood about every 2 hours for potty breaks, as well as mental and physical stimulation. We also occasionally enjoy car rides to the dog park for extra fun and exercise. Since my yard is unfenced, I have a secure outdoor lead available. If your dog enjoys spending time outside like mine, I’d be happy to accommodate that upon request. For safety and comfort, I also have a crate available and can crate your dog or mine as needed.

“Henry had a good stay at Norma’s and although he really does not like to be away from us he seemed to be fine when we picked him up and also later when we got him home; he fell back into his routine very quickly. Norma is very knowledgeable about dogs and made several suggestions during our meet and greet that made the transitions and stay that much easier. We will use Norma again when we need daycare or short term boarding.”

About: I have spent my whole life around dogs. My dad was a dog trainer in Alaska so I was able to learn a lot from him over the years. Since then my family has had our own dog which sadly passed away a year ago after 12 sweet years together. We have dog sat for friends and family over the years as our home makes a great space for dog sitting, but have not professionally dog sat before until now. We work from home so your pup will rarely be on their own. We also have a fenced back yard so they can play outside safely! We have three daughters that love to play with dogs so they will keep them perfectly entertained. We enjoy family walks in our neighborhood that your pup would join us on! We currently have no other pets after our sweet dog passed away a year ago. We miss having a dog in our home but aren’t ready for a new permanent pup so Rover seemed like a wonderful idea for our family. Your dog will be treated as our own with our girls being able to play with your pup in our fenced back yard.

About: Foster mom and bottle feeder with a puppy rescue. Live on 10acres with trails thru out and cul de sac…great for walks! Also cared for dementia patient last 3 yrs…very patient and loving!
