About: I am an animal lover and I have always had pets. The past few years I have been saving lives and fostering with One By One Reacue! I am currently on a foster break since I have 4 dogs of my own but help run the rescue in other ways. I am lucky enough to work from home and be with my pets all day. They stay in the general area I am when I work. Since I have 4 dogs of my own, I would like to provide boarding at my house. I am in a town house and I have movable metal fencing for my dogs. I never leave them outside alone. When I do have to run to the store or have plans for the day (usually no more than 8 hours) I have a furbo that I check in on them throughout the day. I also gate off my stairs so no one can use them (or fall down, I had a blind dog and watch one) when I am not there.

“This was a great experience for our dog Lily, and therefore for us as well. This was our first time leaving our 3 year old golden, so we were a little apprehensive until we met Ashley and her 2 great dogs. We were gone for over a week and we never worried about our dog; we knew she was a good hands and getting lots of attention and great care. Ashley sent us pictures, videos, and updates. This was the first time Lily really had extended play with other dogs plus Ashley's kids; it was clear our dog was happy, safe, and probably didn't want to leave :-) Couldn't have asked for better care or a better experience. She sent lots of pictures of her during her stay, and treated her just like one of her own dogs. I could tell that Colbie received lots of love and attention and was very happy. She got fresh chicken mixed with her food for dinner every night, and was even allowed to bring her favorite toy home with her. I will definitely be booking with Dana again in the future!”

If you are looking for someone to take care of your pet while you are at work or going out of town, I am more than happy to help! I am a professional Dog Trainer and have many experiences working with multiple other trainers. I’ve worked with a dog daycare/boarding facility for quite awhile and also volunteered at a local animal shelter quite a few times. i also offer additional pet photography and dog training services if you are interested, ask for more details! i’m available everyday of the week including weekends. i keep my calendar updated for days i’m not available either due to current scheduled boardings, or personal reasons. *currently only offering drop in visits in marland heights, i won’t be able to take any requests further away* i keep up with each personal dog’s schedule to make sure they stay very comfortable and fit right in to our household during their stay! this is currently my full time job, so i am dedicated to caring for your pets for the entire duration of their stay with me. i have 2 friendly dogs to keep yours company. I currently do not have a fenced in yard, we just purchased our home this past september and will plan on building a fence once the weather warms up. All client dogs will be taken outside to potty on a lead and directly supervised. i’m home full time and will there with them most of the time.
