“We were in a pinch, because our dog sitter backed out the day we were leaving for vacation. We talked with Christina and Daniel and they were able to take him that same day and all the way through our vacation. We had never left our dog in a kennel before, and felt very comfortable with him being there. The barn was very clean and he had his own stall to himself. He was walked daily and we got updates and pictures on how he was doing throughout the week. We will definitely be using them for any future vacations!”

“My husband and I were in a bind when our dog sitter had a last minute change of plans. In the past we've always either traveled with our pup or left her with a family member. This past summer we adopted a second puppy who is not only very much a hyper pup but also has gotten sick in the car quite a few times. With a five hour drive ahead of us with our 18 month old toddler, bringing them both would have not been ideal. Emily was available to meet myself and our pups the night before we were heading out of town and with much apprehension (regarding my sweet but sometimes devious pups) we decided to take a chance and hire Emily for her services. During their 3 night stay, Emily could not have made me feel more comfortable and confident in our decision. With daily updates I had a smile on myself every time Emily had sent a photo of my pups and her Sammy enjoying themselves. She is an amazingly kind person who I hope to entrust our fur babies with during our out of town trips in the future. I could not be more satisfied.”

We were a little worried because we'd not gotten a chance to meet her before we got into town and we were 8 hours away from home but as soon as we met her we knew that she'd take great care of the dogs. She has two smaller dogs of her own that she kept separate from ours while we were there, but by the time we picked Hope and Lou up a few days later everyone was hanging out together. She was quick to update when I checked in on the dogs, but really, I felt comfortable enough that I only texted twice. I would absolutely leave them with her again when I'm back in the area.”

About: I'm a huge animal lover - big and small! I've had dogs and cats my whole life. We have a sweet cat who absolutely loves every dog that comes through our home. We currently have a Great Dane and Great Pyrenees as well as chickens, 1 guinea pig, 2 rabbits and fish. I'm all about making sure our babies are happy and healthy and living the best life we can provide to them. After doing much research and lots of experience, I've learned a lot about a dog's language and how to respect them. I will treat your pets as if they are my own and will love on them just the same. I can't wait to meet your fur-babies! Rover is my full time job right now so I’m available to take care of your pup throughout the day as need be, whether that’s just hanging out or a walk or potty break, etc. I have a large fenced in yard and our 2 dogs will gladly keep your pup company and enjoy running around. I can easily crate if need be as well.

PLEASE NOTE: I am happy to do a meet and greet to meet your pets. However, I will not be introducing my dogs during a meet and greet. This is something I take my time doing since I have three dogs of my own. I don’t want all animals to be thrown together all at once. I work from home during the week, which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention, care and companionship throughout the day. After work, and during weekends are usually very flexible for me. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I do have a long leash so your pet can enjoy safe outdoor time, in addition to regular walks if you’d like. In my home, in addition to my husband, I have two Frenchies, one chocolate lab, and a cat (who mainly keeps to himself), as well as children who love animals and help provide plenty of companionship for your fur-baby.

Lauren seemed like a really kind, laid-back person, and so did her fiancée, and we would most definitely consider leaving Reyna with her again anytime we are out of town. About: Hello! My name is Skylar and I am a recent college grad who has been in Pittsburgh about 2 years. I have over 70 5-star ratings on Wag, which is a similar app to Rover. Back home in Ohio I have a sweet Mini Schnauzer who is 11 years old. He is blind and diabetic, so I have lots of experience taking care of older pups with medical needs. I also have a 7 year old Australian Shepard who has LOTS of energy and is always bouncing off the walls. She loves to play and herd her brother. Two new additions to the fam are 2 year old bernadoodles-lots of dog in the house! I miss my sweet pups, which is why I love to use Wag and Rover :) I absolutely adore any dog I come across and would love to get to know you and your doggo! I have a bit of an odd schedule where over the winter I work M-F completely remote and in the spring-fall I work Th-M half remote and half in person at North Park with Tuesday and Wednesday as my “weekends.” There is some variability to this schedule, but for the most part it is as described. I live with my boyfriend in a three level townhouse that has a large yard and is on a safe, quiet street. When fury friends visit us they are allowed on the furniture and we make sure to take them out on walks at least 4 times a day. Typically this looks like right when we wake up, during lunch, after dinner, and right before bed. When I stay at a pup’s house, I make sure to leave it cleaner than I found it!
