About: Hello, I’m Kandis, a lifelong Steubenville local with a deep love for animals. Growing up with dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, birds, reptiles, fish, and even farm animals, I’ve gained hands-on experience with pets of all shapes, sizes, and life stages, from playful puppies and the ‘terrible twos’ to senior companions who need gentle care. I love how pets enrich our lives. Whether it’s daily dog walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, or medication reminders, I treat every pet like my own, with the patience and affection they deserve. I’m currently building my dedicated pet sitting and dog walking business in the Steubenville area. My schedule is highly flexible and open most days and times—aside from Saturday and Sunday morning Mass. I’m happy to work around your needs for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, or whatever your pets require. Just let me know your schedule! I deeply respect your home and privacy and will follow all instructions for your pets and property without issue. Whether caring for your pets in your home or welcoming them into mine, their safety and comfort come first. My home features a fenced backyard, separate levels for quiet time if needed, and kennels for flexible arrangements. I have two friendly dogs of my own (a Bernedoodle and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) who love making new friends and providing companionship during stays. I prepare healthy homemade treats like dehydrated fruit and jerky, and I’m experienced managing picky eaters and sensitive stomachs.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and energy levels since I was young. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, basic training reinforcement, and giving medications if needed. I always make sure each dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently in school, but I manage my time well and intentionally plan my schedule around pet care. I’m available before and after school, as well as on weekends, and I make sure I never overbook myself so every dog gets the attention they deserve. Caring for pets is something I genuinely enjoy, so I prioritize it in my weekly routine and stay consistent with walks, feedings, and playtime. I always follow each pet’s routine closely, whether I’m in my client’s home or mine. I stick to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. “Kristen came in clutch! We made a last-minute decision to extend our vacation and booked an Airbnb in the small town of Cadiz where sitter selection was sparse. Kristen responded to my request immediately and was willing to drive 30 minutes after work to take care of Bogey. The visit was flawless, she followed directions perfectly, and we returned to a happy dog. His bully looks were no issue for her either. I also appreciated the pics she sent. We felt comfortable leaving his care in her hands and would do so again. Maybe with more than 7 hours notice next time ?”

About: I have four of my own pups at home, they rage from an Australian Shepard, great-dane boxer mix, and a pitt bull black lab mix, to a pug! I also own livestock and small farm animals so i’m great in any situation! I have recently graduated so I am available early mornings also! I work part time so I am available almost daily! About: Worked at petsmart for 2 years in college in pet care. Learned to care for cats, dogs, reptiles and horses at a young age. Have owned cats, dogs and reptiles. Knowledge of medications and how to administer. I work from home and my hours are flexible, am able to provide pet care that is round the clock, Monday through Friday and on weekends. For drop ins on weekdays, I can come in the morning or later evening. Large yard, locks on all doors and windows. Would keep animals separate from my own animals if at my house. Never leave animals unsupervised in the home

“Zel was a phenomenal sitter for the week that we were away. She is communicative, thorough and took great care of all three of our kitties. She stopped by prior to her first visit, asked excellent questions to make sure she knew the ropes, and provided consistent, thorough updates on how things were going at home. She left everything very neat and tidy (a feat with three furballs with some health struggles) and we returned home to cats + plants well cared for. We've had a few different sitters through Rover and I can confidently say that Zel is the best of the best - even though it was our first time booking with her, we felt totally at ease knowing that she was caring for our three cats. It was so wonderful to not have to worry about how things were going at home and to truly be able to get away. We'll definitely be hiring Zel again for future sitting needs!”

About: My name is Kelly, I am 27 years YOUNG! I am a full time Criminal Justice college student attending Purdue Global University online. If it weren’t for Covid-19, I’d still be working as a Correctional Officer. I’m married to my best friend who has given me the best gift of all, a stepdaughter who is 8 years old. I have loved animals ever since I learned to walk. My parents never believed in buying animals, they believed in adopting the ones who didn’t have a home. I carried that with me growing up and became the go to for my neighborhood if they seen a stray animal. Call Kelly, they’d say. No challenge is too big with animals. I’ve been around plenty of new animals that didn’t like many people, including myself but I believe patience is key. We have baby steps to get to our goals and I believe the same for animals, you take baby steps and earn their trust and the rest will come. We have one dog, he is a cocker spaniel. His name is Charlie and he is about 6 years old. I’ve had him since he was just 7 weeks old, he is my whole world and the love/bond we share is undeniable and unbreakable. I treat ALL animals how I would want someone to treat mine; with love and patience. I have ample experience walking various breeds and sizes as well as ones with different temperaments. I love taking my Charlie butt on long walks and enjoy playtimes with him. He gets the best of love and care that I will show with you’re furry best friend!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the last 9 years! From puppies to senior dogs and everything in between. I raised a husky from a puppy and rescued another husky. I have experience with administering medicine as both required it in their senior years. I have a fenced in yard that will allow your dog to roam free and get a lot of exercise. I’m currently at home every day of the week so I’m available to have your pet in my home to allow for full-time care! I only leave for short periods of time, allowing for a lot of play time with your pet. I have a fenced in yard that allows for a lot of outdoor exercise! There’s also a shaded patio that allows for a shaded area out of the sun. I have kids that love to play with dogs and will keep your pet active and loved during their stay!

About: I have taken care of pets since I was a child. I am currently a dog groomer and am around them every single day! I I do work full time but my job is only 2 minutes away from my house. I am usually off on the weekends and have more time to spend with fur babies. I have a fenced yard and 2 sweet dogs to keep your fur baby company and play with.
