“Sydney did a super job with my two babies! They warmed up to her right away, which speaks volumes about her ability to immediately connect with my cats. She was prompt and stayed for the entire drop-in visit. Those are things that are important to me and that I truly appreciate. I will use her again and I definitely recommend her!”

“Taylor was gracious enough to accept a last minute assignment having never being to my house to meet the dogs. Upon arrival she found my one dog abt aggressive at the door. She called me and suggested asking a neighbor knee the dogs to help her the first time and that was the ticket. I loved her assertive nature. Took care of my pups and communicated every time. Would highly recommend Taylor in the future”

About: As a lifelong owner of dogs & cats, I’ve provided care for all of my animals when it comes to feeding, grooming, walking, and companionship. For pets that are not my own, I’ve provided assistance to friends and family when it comes to walking, feeding, and pet-sitting (10 years of experience). I have experience with pets of all ages (puppy to senior, kitten to adult) and love them all the same! I work a full-time job (typical working hours) with lots of flexibility after 4:30pm during the work week. On the weekends, my schedule opens with availability of mornings afternoons & nights! Safety and trust are my top priorities. In a client’s home, I maintain a calm, structured environment where pets feel secure and cared for. I follow feeding, walking, and medication instructions exactly as provided and always keep pets supervised indoors and outdoors. I double-check doors, use secure leashing practices, and never introduce unfamiliar animals without clear permission. I also can provide consistent photo and video updates so pet parents feel fully informed and at ease while they’re away. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, loved, and stress-free!
About: I love animals and have a degree in wildlife biology. We had a special needs German shepherd for nine years until her passing several years ago. As a mom of four children who are in school during the day, I have a consistent and flexible daytime schedule that allows me to focus on pet care. I genuinely look forward to spending that time caring for animals—whether that’s going on walks, providing companionship, or making sure pets feel safe and comfortable in their routine. Pet care fits naturally into my day, and I’m able to give dogs and cats my full attention while my kids are at school. I provide reliable drop-in visits to care for your pets in the comfort of their own home, helping them stay relaxed in their familiar environment. During each visit, I make sure they have fresh food and water, clean litter boxes or tidy up any messes, and keep their space clean and comfortable. I also spend quality time with your pets based on their needs—whether that’s playing with energetic dogs, offering gentle companionship to shy cats, or giving calm affection and attention. I’m comfortable caring for multiple pets and making sure each one gets individual care and attention. I pay close attention to their behavior and routine so I can notice anything out of the ordinary and ensure they feel safe and secure while you’re away. I also provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are happy and well cared for.

Since my teenage years I have been taking care of dogs as I grew up in a household with a Shih Tzu and Chihuahua. Once I moved on my own I decided to continue that care by becoming a dog mom myself. To provide the upmost care for your pets, I can ensure they have a consistent routine that includes potty breaks every 2 hours, regular exercise with a 15 min daily walk 2 times a day (once in the afternoon and once in the evening), access to fresh water and food, a safe environment, plenty of attention and play time as well as a in home play mate! About: I graduated with my associate in Veterinary technology in 2022. I have taken care of and worked with all breeds of dogs and cats. I’ll give all of them the same love as I give my own. I am currently working full time at FedEx. Depending on your animals schedules and your requirements I will feed them and walk them bright and early make sure they got all the early morning energy out before I’d need to head out to work. Will clean up any mess if any was made in the process. After work I will go straight to check on the animal and do the same as in the morning feed, walk and play. “Kelly shows up on time, obviously loves dogs and my dog loves her too. I appreciates the time & attention she gives, and the photos. I'll continue to book with her as much as I can.”

About: I’ve had pets since I was 5. I’ve always been in charge of their wellbeing. I currently have 4 pets so handling a couple more fur babies isn’t a problem for me. Either they’re big or small. I’ll treat them as my own. I currently am not working so I will be with your fur baby 24/7. I am very strict with feeding times, potty breaks and play time. I have a fenced in back yard with lots of room to run. I also live a block away from the park so a nice walk would be able to happen as well. My family has a total of 4 cats and three dogs but not to worry all dogs are very friendly and I will be there at all times during interaction if anything where to happen. Our cats are super chill too they don’t want nothing to do with our dogs or humans.

About: I am comfortable walking long distance with your dog, and even bathing as needed. I can care for multiple cats and promote cleanliness. I am happy to drop in or stay as needed while attending college this summer. I am working part-time in addition while attending nursing school. I am happy to work with your schedule to provide care, comfort, and cleanliness. I feed my cat twice a day and clean twice a day. I also care for my aunt's 3 cats, feeding and cleaning their litter area. I can walk any distance you prefer with your dog and provide play as needed also.
About: Taken care of multiple breeds for friends and love walking and playing with them. Very good at learning each pet individually and providing care and love accordingly. I work full time with availability in the early mornings from 7-10 and in the evenings almost any time! Flexible on certain days because I have a rotating work schedule! I don’t currently have any pets but I’ve owned both cats and dogs in the past. I love to work with their routines and get to know their personalities to be able to care for them on a better level.

New Cumberland dog parents share their Rover experiences
She was absolutely wonderful! She was reliable, caring, and took care of everything while we were away. Our dogs were happy, well loved, and in great hands, which gave us complete peace of mind. She communicated throughout our trip and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. We would not hesitate to book with her again!

Cheryl has been a Godsend. We are going through some medical issues where we have to travel to Baltimore every two weeks for treatment. Our oldest dog needs injections both of our dogs are picky eaters. Our dogs love Cheryl and it has given us peace of mind knowing they are being cared . She goes above and beyond the average sitter:)
Sydney was amazing with my guys! I booked last minute and she was able to still make the request work! She fed, took them out and made sure they had water! She even got my German shepherd to eat a little which he never does when I’m not there! I would definitely recommend her if you need a drop in visit!

Jazzlyn is amazing! I can't give her enough praise. My dog can be a difficult one to win over and he took to her almost immediately. She's warm, caring, responsible, trustworthy, intelligent and responsive. She's everything you could hope for to care for your family pets while you are away. Jazzlyn kept me updated every time she stopped by with pictures and notes. To add to her myriad of talents, she's also an incredible photographer. She took the most stunningly beautiful pictures of my dog and cat, that I actually changed their profile pictures on Rover using her photos. My dog is like one of my children to me and I loved having Jazzlyn care for him and same for my elderly cat, not to mention my son's turtle. She's truly a gem.
