“We have a rescue dog who doesn’t warm up to many people, and I could tell from the pictures she uploaded that my dog loves her. 100% recommend and would book Kayla again!”

“We love Miss Raya!! I almost didn’t want to leave a review and gate keep her for myself 😂 (kidding kidding). She is AMAZING. Prompt, follows directions perfectly, takes plenty of pictures, and my babies love her. I loved seeing them play and be happy with her. She’s the best!”

About: I have always had a connection with animals. I wasn't able to get my first pet until I was 10 and it was a guinea pig...fast forward 22 years and that connection and passion for animals has not changed. I worked as a veterinary technician for 6 years including school, most of which was in Maine. I no longer work as a technician but still love to fill my time with taking care of people's pets. I currently have a pretty open schedule. The only reason I would not be able to do certain days would be due to medical appointments or family obligations. When I care for your pet I will be able to spend as much time playing, walking, relaxing. Whatever you and they may want or need. I am able to give medication including insulin and fluids.
“Becky was wonderful with our 4-month-old puppy, Theo! She made me feel completely assured that he was in good hands from start to finish. She took him outside for potty breaks, played with him, and made sure he was tired out and comfortable before putting him back in his crate. Her communication was excellent, and we loved all the photos she sent during the visit. Thank you again, Becky — we truly appreciate your care!”

“Sarah made us feel at ease and like our cats were in good hands immediately. She was very communicative and took plenty of pictures. She even made sure they got to go outside in their catio on every visit. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone and I’ll be hoping she’s available next time I need a pet sitter.”

“This was our first time having Cassidy come take care of our dog who has high anxiety and chronic medical issues that require daily medications. She took such great care of him, was very accommodating to all of our needs and our dog's needs! Her communication with us was amazing, we received pictures and updates every visit. We will definitely be asking if she can come again in the future! We would highly recommend her!”

“Abby was great with our silver lab! Lola is full of energy - even after a long walk Abby stuck around to play with her to get some extra energy out while we were away. Thanks Abby!”

“Lori was great! She was very informative with her updates and sent great pictures during her visits. Having a new puppy, she put my mind at ease! I wiii definitely be asking Lori to care for our babies again!”

“Brandy is amazing! I highly recommend her help. She was so friendly, prompt and responsive and clearly cares about and is a natural with animals. I could tell my cats were in very good hands. Thanks again, Brandy!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Highspire with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
